I picked a random evening yoga routine because I was struggling with class work and needed a break mentally and physically. The affirmation "I did my best today and that was enough" was exactly what I needed tonight. Thank you for making this two years ago.
I just finished my 1st 15' bedtime yoga routine. And this is only the 2nd time I've done yoga with Kassandra. I'm 73 and have the stiffness to prove it, so some of the poses are difficult to get into. But Kassandra ia a wonderful teacher, very positive and affirming. She goes slowly and allows plenty of time to go through the various poses and to change from one to another. For beginners like me, she makes yoga very appealing and doable. She is continually positive and supportive.
It’s funny how the right yoga practice always finds you at the right time. I needed a yin yoga gentle hug and this certainly fit the bill. It was certainly what I needed after a challenging day of work and I hadn’t realised how much emotion I’d been holding onto and with quite a few of these moves opening up the hips where we hold a lot of emotion the tears just flowed! I was proper sobbing on my mat as I was doing half happy baby pose. There was nothing that had upset me today, but I have a lot going on and it would have been my dad’s birthday on Monday next week if he was still here today. Sometimes we just need a good cry and lean into it and then you feel so much better. I think the affirmation “I did my best today and that’s enough” triggered the tears too as I think today was possibly more challenging than I had allowed myself to feel. Deep breath. I did well today and tomorrow is a new day of possibilities and adventures. Namaste xo

good for you! I wish I had found yoga at such a young age. I turned to sex, drugs and alcohol after a traumatic childhood and only now that I am 39 (with 11 years clean!) am I figuring out how to care for myself and my body. Keep on taking care of yourself. You deserve it.

I did this practice in the morning. When I first heard the affirmation “I did my best today and that’s okay.” I thought, oh that would be a nice affirmation at the end of the day. And then realized that-at 6:00 am on a Saturday-I had already been kicking myself for a harmless goof! Gonna take this affirmation to-go because it works at all hours of the day! Thank you 🙏💛
These evening yogas are great. I've done the whole lot and now ive started from the beginning but this time I'm doing each day for a whole week so that they last me 30 weeks. I recommend doing this as it gives you an opportunity to work on each set of poses longer. Has anyone else tried this? I'm finding yoga works well alongside swimming too. Both excersizes are so beneficial. Thanks again Kassandra ❤
I recently made a bunch of big life changes, including a new job as an OR nurse- at the end of my days I’m stressed and feel there’s no time for my yoga- this is such a beautiful way to start incorporating my practice back into my life- the first night was just what I needed! ive been struggling with mental and staying physically healthy and for the new years i’ve committed to doing yoga everyday at night, before every volleyball practice, and every morning when i can. these are really helping me stay healthy and keep my body working properly, and i’ve already started to feel better physically, which helps me mentally. i did your pre workout stretch before practice and i felt great during and after our intense 2 hour practice, and i just did this one when i got home. i’m truly grateful you do these for free and i can’t wait to continue! (also your affirmations make dealing with anxiety and depression a little easier) thank you

I appreciate how you let us know what part of the body should be relaxed or active. Also how you let us know exactly how we should be in each position, like shoulders down, left leg relaxed, right leg pressing to the floor, foot flexed, sitting tall etc. It helps to remind us not to relax certain forms to make it easier in another area. I’m enjoying the morning and evening 30 day challenges. Thank you.
