I show you guys what two overnight ER shift looks like as a PA student in her clinical year. It is my second rotation out of nine. So far I am loving my Emergency Medicine Rotation. Each day/night is filled with unique cases. My responsibilities while there include see patients by: taking a focused medical history and physical exam, coming up with differentials and treatment plan to present to preceptor.

@@ItsMe-zj9rz A PA is a physician assistant also know as Physician Associate I believe they almost do the same things as a doctor but under supervision of a doctor. You can look into more detail about it but it seems like a great profession ❤️

Hi! Yes, as long as you take all your pre reqs then it doesn’t really matter what major you take as an undergrad. Most, if not PA programs, pre reqs are bio 1 & 2, chem 1 & 2, organic chem, microbiology, stats, ethics, medical terminology, of course anatomy and human physiology (taken together or separate), genetics, psychology course
