- In this video I am going to be answering questions that you guys have asked on my instagram!
1) emergency medicine physician assistant salary ?
2) schedule of an ER PA?
3) what procedures can a PA perform in the ED?
4) what level of acuity can a PA evaluate in the ED?
5) what is the biggest difference between urgent care and ER?
6) Biggest learning curve going into the ER?
I know it has been a while since I posted so please leave a comment with questions or what content you'd like to see on here and please subscribe/like to give me some motivation to continue this channel!
I admire how you continue to learn and are completely transparent and real about your career!! As a high schooler wanting to pursue a pa career, your content is extremely helpful and inspiring. Thank you!
@@lydiatrigg3793 I appreciate you 💞💪🏼
Dani, I'm so happy you're back!! Congratulations on your new ER position!!!
@@cheyennebenton9956 thank you so much!!! It’s good to be back
Quit my job as a stockbroker recently and starting pre-requisites in the fall for Nursing School (long term goal would be NP) and also considering if being PA would be a good end goal as well--seeing your content has helped me get a better sense of what I'm potentially getting into! Thanks :)
@@doosker313 not a problem & good luck!!!
You can save time by going into direct NP school, but if you can switch go and become PA, because NP clinical is very bad. It is very hard to find clinicals and you would be expected to pay $12 to $20 for each clinical hour, clinical quality is another issue.
As an NP: become a PA if you have no desire to actually be an RN for a couple of years. Please don’t do the direct entry thing is ruins the profession

How does this work, please?
Hey, thanks so much for your insightful vids. Figured out recently that I want to be a PA as well, and I'm gearing up to get 3 semesters worth of pre-reqs before the master's.
Love it, thanks for sharing.

Can you make a video about PA burnout?? I've been interested in the career but I heard a lot of things about burnout and I wanted to learn more about it
So how is your schedule like? Do you work 3 12s, 4 10s, one week on, one week off?
@@kezia326 it changes so much - some weeks I work 0 shifts and some I work 4. We work a minimum of 120 hours per month
Im very interested in becoming a PA. I just don’t know where to start 😬 I just recently graduated from high school and have no idea what direction to take to head on up to a PA
