I’m not in PA school yet, but I just wanted to comment on how much I appreciate your day in the life videos! They actually show and explain what goes on as a PA-S/C. Most videos just show people arriving and leaving their site, and then doing things not PA related. Please keep these up! ◡̈
I noticed that when I was a pre-PA as well! So I wanted to make my videos as visual as I can without violating HIPPA! Thanks for your kind words. Appreciate it!
Starting my program in June and super stoked! Glad you're showing how these rotations go, keep it up! I scribed for a family med doc and we would see 30 - 35 patients per day. It was absolutely insane. The doc was over 70 years old and could not use an EMR to save his life, so rarely was a shift less than 12 hrs. Contrast that with scribing in the ED and seeing maybe 16 patients per day. Love ED medicine. You definitely see a broad range of patients in family med though which is really cool.
Finally know what I wanna do bro. Didn’t wanna go down the MD/DO path. Too much schooling, too expensive, and it takes forever. PA makes less money and has a “lower status” but money ain’t everything and I’m a humble man🤷🏾♂️😂😂 just tryna break 6 figures and be able to have a life outside of the workplace. Being a PA is definitely the move.
I love watching your videos/tiktoks! I just started making videos on my journey to PA school as well! I was wondering how you are able to balance school + RUclips videos/tiktok? ☺️
I hate butterflies (not the real ones just the needle ones) looks and sounds like this was a great rotation. These are the types of experiences that are awesome.
Hi Dani! Thank u so much for your videos! I just graduated from PTA school and I’m considering going into a PA program, any advise, tips or suggestions please 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi I just applied to PA school at barry Nova and usf. How did you like Nova? Have a BA & masters in sports medicine. Super nervous about the interview process. Any advice? Thanks. Great videos
Hi! just found your channel and wanted to ask a question! I’m currently a RN but I’m actually interviewing at my dream PA program in a few months! Any encouragement or tips for me??? All of this in your video seems so overwhelming! how did you feel going into the program? do you feel like it’s manageable?
love your videos!! i’ll be starting PA school in a few months and I was wondering where you go your green scrubs in the beginning of this video ?? I love them
I have a question, did you complete any program or certification to become a medical assistant for your PCE and HCE hours?? Or can you start working as one without any license/certification/program completion?
@@DanithePA do you think that if i do a major in bio and minor in psychology will help to enter PA school? I just graduated from high school and i really want to become a PA😁
I am in school to become a medical assistant right now. I am doing it to get patient care experience for PA school, so I can answer this from what I know so far. Medical assistants are the first people to bring in patients and prepare their visit for a doctor, PA, or NP. We can do lots of things like take blood, check vital signs, etc. However, MA's can't create treatment plans, diagnose patients, or anything like that. A physician assistant is a healthcare provider, so they CAN see their own patients, treat, and diagnose. Schooling is very different, as a result. It is only going to take me a little over 4 months to become an MA, but PA school is usually around 27 months I believe. Unfortunately, the PA title is misleading and people tend to think these two careers are the same, but they are very different. Hope this helps!

You have a professor writing EORs? I am confused. Aren't EORs standardized? So like, all PA students take the same exact EORs?
