I had to watch a dozen other videos on this topic before finding this one that actually explains everything properly.
Yesssss 100% the same!!
Best explanation about this topic in the whole RUclips. Easy, concise and clear. Nice job!
I watched it 3 times by far the best on RUclips 👍🏾👍🏾
I agree
Nice video! Super clear and easy to understand.
Callaway and other RUclips videos made it seem like one ring was for lie and the other ring was for loft.....that was confusing!
Now I see how obvious it is, Letters are lie, Numbers are loft, regardless of which ring it's on.
Easily the best video on any platform to explain how exactly to adjust this driver. Thank you.
Agreed!
Thanks for this! Absolutely easiest explanation to this there is. Even easier than Callaway's own description.
I've seen quite a few videos on the Optifit system, but this video is by far the best. I understood exactly what I needed to do. The other videos, not so much.
Thanks...was able to really understand how my driver works with all the aetttings because of your video....i got fittted last year for the first time......what an incredible driver it is..
I tried watching a few other videos but this one was by far the most informative one I found. Thanks
That was a great explanation. Now i understand completely all 8 positions and how they affect face angle.
Excellent video and explanation as I have been searching over and over on set up for my Callaway Rogue Max, TU ;D
I have to pile on, your description is better than what you get from Callaway!
Best, best video on why/how to adjust my Callaway driver!
Great content. Have had my rogue for nearly 3 years without understanding the options.
yours is the best video explaining the ;process except my calloway a 2016 model only clicked once
Excellent explanation!!
Works for the Lamen, as well as the experienced player.
Thank you for this video. Helped dial in my new driver.
Best explanation of all I've listen to! Thx
Best explanation of all the vids I had watched.
Easily the best vid on this topic. Thank you!
Great video. Thanks for clarifying some questions I had
Best explanation on RUclips.
What’s your thoughts if I’m a little steep. 110mph swing.
10.5 degree..
I’m almost thinking of getting a 9 degree and raising it 2’making it an 11 degree with draw bias and adding led tape in heel
Best video on this I have watched! Thanks!
Thank you for the info and the tee tip!
Just bought new callaway driver with optifit, cant wait to experiment it
Thanks for great explanation
Love callaway.
And the grip thing is the best..
I love my 913 hybrids
But grips/ shafts are all out of whack.
If you’re ocd like me will drive u nuts
Good informative video, but what about adjusting the clubhead weight in the back as opposed to the tip? Should it be done alone or in combination?
Thanks
Mitch
I agree....best overall explanation
Best explanation I have seen. Thank you
Great vid, very informative and helpful!
My drives tend to go to the left side, I mean I tend to do straight pulls. What adjustments would you advice me ? Thanks
If I heard you right. I can make my driver a 11.5 from a 10.5 by lining up the +1 on lie cog correct?
Well explained. Thanks.
Great explanation...almost all explanations on RUclips are void of the info you provided, they speak in terms of general information that is almost useless.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, there was no documentation with my new Callaway driver to explain how to adjust the settings! Also, I did not get a Callaway adjustment tool. Does an Adams or PXG tool work?
Very helpful!!
I have a a Rogue ST Max.10.5 driver.
If I reduce the loft by 1 and move to the D setting what will my effective loft become ?
Thanks, now I understand
Thanks
Great how-to video.
Excellent, well done and thank you.
I purchased a 2023 Great Big Bertha 10.5. Wanted a to adjust to 9 degrees for more roll but my shots tend to favor left side of fairway. How to adjust draw bias out?
Thank you excellent tips.
Which adjusting ring is fir loft and which is for lie. I assumed that the one most remote from the head was loft but when I tried to add 2 degrees there was on +2
What is the best setting for hooking the driver?
wait, I heard that it was only one click, is that right or is it actually two? another video just said one click
One click is enough but I like to do two for safety
Does the driver make the click or the screwdriver
@@stephenmcguigan9288 driver. Like when you get the click when you tighten the gas cap on your car
@@ajbarrett3661I've tightened really tight and it hasn't clicked
@@joshkelleygolfI've tightened mines really tight and it hasn't clicked
Grazie!
Dude, where did you get your cap? Its cool and I cant find it anywhere!
Josh, my question is with the tool that you have. Is it the tool its self or the screw in the hosel that clicks for the proper torque?
The tool clicks
Need a "caddie" cut setting, what would you suggest in settings?
I always felt like the less loft you had the more closed the club face is but you stated +1 would close the face more?
I’m confused. How does opening the face decrease loft? When you put it on -1, wouldn’t that close the face, thereby steepening the loft angle? And if so, a slightly closed face is going to promote draws?
If the shaft is kept in the same position. Reducing loft pushes the toe down and slightly opens the face.
I'm with you Kevin I'm confused as well I've always been told it closes the club face
"-1" Loft decreases the height of the shot, the "D" setting closes the face, "N" setting is open because your already closing your face in your swing, if set a D you'll Hook it hard Left...
Thought his instruction was very clear and Not confusing.
It doesn't seem clear to you. "D" does not close the face. It changes the lie, effectively lifting the toe side higher at address. So essentially, it's like hitting a ball slightly above your feet. Back to my question, at 3:45, he states reducing loft will open the face. My question should have been, how does decreasing loft open the face? Because if I were to decrease loft with my hands, I would rotate the clubface closed. So the setting must tilt the head downward, but I don't get why that would have to open the face.
@@kevlore75 Agree. I just purchased an Epic driver and will go to the range to adjust the settings. Lowering the loft will decrease the clubface. Everything else equal it should induce a slight draw bias.
Very helpful explanation, does this explanation apply to the Callaway Rescue club?
Yes everything that has a optiFit tip
It seems like my shaft moves one way or the other when I do this, and my grip moves with it. Am I doing something wrong?
After checking my head, I didn't have the top and bottom lines lined up. 6:50 Man, I'm old😂
Where do we find the tool? Is it included? Thank you
I Thought adding loft will open the face. Is it right or wrong?
When adjusting does it it have to line up with the “line” ? Does that matter ?
Yes it does
how do you make the adjustments for N/S for left handed drivers?
How do I adjust the weights in the Callaway driver
What do you know about the round optifit weights (like a screw near the hosel)? I cannot find anything about them on the web...
Is it backwards for a left handed player?
how does taking loft off the head OPEN the face???
What if you don’t hear a click when tightening?
Hi almost what I want to here but , I am hitting draws now fades were what I knew and could play to but now I play with cheap balls because I lose them left . If its true that the lie alters the loft then why have a loft on it . my old adjustable cobra f5 has draw fade plus loft on one dial simple , I play 9° draw on that 9° draw maybe I should try on this .
WHAT I WANTED TO KNOW IS ( I NOW HIT DRAWS WITH THIS MAVRIK WHATEVER THE SETTING ) I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW TO HIT IT STRAIGHT , I HIT IT A LOT FURTHER NOW LIKE BEFORE A DRIVER AND 3W WAS SHORT BUT NOW DRIVER AND MY OLD TAYLORMADE 7 WOOD 300 SERIES AND I AM ON PAR 4 MID GREEN . PAUL BEST DRIVES ARE 274 YDS
What is D +2. Doesn't that close the face more than D +1
Are both "S"s stated loft and stated lie? I have an S on both upper and lower cog of my epic max
Anyway to add a degree of loft and keep it closer to neutral? Thanks
Yes there is.
Not really without changing the tip. It will close the face but only a very small amount.
I thought N stands for North and D stands for Down and S stands for South. And the -/+ sign was based on horsepower.
😂😂
How do I stop it going left
Tyty
Hello, I have my callaway +2 D configured, the flight of the ball should be high and to the left correct?
Yes

This bozo never answers questions...
I’ve been fitted with my pro golf company with tri/di ls 9’ 75g X-flex, my fitting numbers was high and a good swing day, but struggled for consistency since, and I’m hitting my lower flight as normal but turning the ball over more than normal, when this club is on, it’s an impressive day off the tee, just even on address the face looks closed, need to get it to go more to the right hopefully, any setting to open the face more please, or is there a different hosel adapter that can be purchased with a more fade option please?..👍🏼🏌🏼♂️🇺🇸🏴
Thanks
