      Our 1998 Suburban had major problems - too many to bother listing. Loved the room and power but my life experience has left me convinced GM intentionally cuts corners probably to keep the dealers and mechanics employed. And many smaller cities and towns only have domestic dealers so people buy them. I've had a few issues with my 07 Tundra SR5 5.7 liter - but nothing compared to the GM. Toyota has no choice but to build better but people put up with domestic so the domestics can build less better? My Toyota truck is still going strong. The only issue I have so far is the complexity of this new Toyota powertrain already having issues with turbos and lets see how well that in frame battery behaves. IMO Toyota does quality better whilst domestic design-wise are superior but may leave you more stranded LOL

I have also had my mechanic check and change all fluids when do. I actually like the solid axle for off-road, but that step underneath the 3rd row is weird. Even if you can remove the 3rd row, it still won't have a flat floor. Then, in 5 years, they are going to wonder why they only sell 3000 a year and cancel it. Then maybe they will rebadge it as a Lexus LX700 and increase the price to $120,000 and still sell 3000 of them.

I would rather have the larger cargo area and flat floor than have a battery that gains you 1mpg and cost 10k to replace in 5 years. Also, Why would they even put in the third row seats? Make it an option and let people choose what they want. I honestly think Toyota is screwing up their whole line by not giving people the options to make their trucks useable. Who cares about trim packages that only add cost, give us the options to build an actual useable vehicle. Big miss in my opinion. Shame too...cause I soo wanted an excuse to upgrade but this is not the Sequoia Toyota needed to produce. This was a minimal effort last ditch attempt to keep the Sequoia alive and all I can see is Toyota using the horrible sales of this new generation because they messed it up as proof they should have killed it off like they had planned to.
    Maybe...and heres hoping...In a couple years Toyota will get their heads out of their backsides and fix the issues with the Sequoia and then I would buy it. • @illinoistiger8694
      @illinoistiger8694 2 года назад

      The 3rd row in the Wagoneer is legitimately comfortable and easy to step into. It has a nearly 124" wheelbase so the rear axle doesn't cut into the rear door profile as much. The Tahoe has about a 120" wheelbase so it's a little harder to get into, especially given the higher clearance and step-in. The Suburban is 134" and it's got a huge, square rear door but it's just as high off the ground as a Tahoe.
      I can't find any hard numbers on the 2023 Sequoia yet, but I suspect it's going to be closer in profile to the Tahoe than the Wagoneer.
