Let's take a moment and appreciate Russel's great voice.
What a great story! Maximus!!
the greatest movie of all time in my opinion, still listen to the sound track at least once a week , years later. Masterpeice!
Gladiator was amazing in theater. It is one of those movies that just gets the testosterone pumping.
This goes to show that movies, good movies, touch the soul of people. Wonderful story.
After they watched The Pope’s Exorcist & The Exorcism he’s probably been excommunicated 😂
Don't worry, noone saw the popes exorcist
I watched it on the train. Thought it was okay
His Voice man, His Voice. OMG 😍
Women and feminist were so bias when Russell Crowe's character was a strong masculine character. Its only toxic masculinity when its not on their terms. Woman in all walks of life want a man like in the film Gladiator.
I don’t know what’s wrong with you but I hope it gets better.
@@TheAfterglowProject Gladiator is one of the greatest films in the last 30 years. Women were all aroused by his manliness and men wanted to be his character. This is the kind of man women still want today but dont even know they do
@@healer81 why are you saying all of this? Nothing in the video even hinted at what you’re talking about. Russel Crowe was talking about getting to see the Sistine Chapel alone with his kids.
@@TheAfterglowProject the gladiator film was so important to people because of his acting and how he carried the character. He captured the romantic idea of the pride mythos of the culture.
What is this comment? This video makes no reference to women or “feminism”. You’ve just ranted about something that’s a complete non-issue in the world. I hope you get help if this is your obsession
That movie was so incredibly good.. beautiful
Gladiator is the best movie ever made
u did not watch alot of movies i guess.its awesome. east top 10-20 but not the best
"What we do in life echoes in Eternity"
Are you not entertained 😂
Legendary actor he deserves all the praise he gets
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 30k in crypto and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.❤❤❤
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary...
You're correct!! I make a lot of money without relying on the government. Investing in stocks and digital currencies is beneficial at this moment
The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.
I'm new to cryptocurrency and don't understand how it really works. how Can someone know the right approach to investing and making good profits from cryptocurrency investments?
As a beginner investor, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I'm guided by Harvey Barrett FX, A widely known crypto consultant!
Russell doesn't give himself enough credit for Gladiator. He mostly came up with the script and screenplay himself by improving.
This was a wonderful podcast. Enjoyed every minute of it.
That´s the voice he used for Zeus in Thor 4.
Also same accent for The Popes Exorcist
He is Maximus, like Rocky or any of those that have played James Bond, they are that person.
im seeing comments about the "dig" comment on the new gladiator movie... i didnt see it that way. I saw it as like him being replaced so he will lose his status to the italians if the new movie takes off and the spotlight would be on the new Maximus. Or am i wrong lol
Spot on. He knows that if Ridley Scott has gone back to it then it's likely to be a blockbuster because Scott has turned down multiple offers to direct a sequel over the last 20 years because the script wasn't good enough and didn't want to besmirch the original.
@justonecornetto80 Have you not seen what he has done to the Alien series lol? You seriously believe that this will be any different? All Ridley has made is piles of trash these past years. Prometheus/Alien Covenant/Napoleon and I honestly could care less about Romulus. So let's not act like Ridley has some sort of care about original works lol
He meant it as the second way but there is no way they would replace him because that movie looks like garbage.
Ridley hasn't made a good movie in 20 years.
In the name of the King!!!
He played that role so well he deserves to be.
Wow! That must have been an experience.
''Before there's another one and that water's muddy''
Haha Russell with a dig there that there shouldnt be a sequel. Legend
Just watched it again yesterday, what a movie. Everyone is amazing in it.
Imagine how deep his morning voice would be.
One of my favorite stories told on JRE.
One of my fave episodes ever, love Russell so much
If you’ve ever visited Rome, all the gift shops have Gladiator souvenirs
