Maximus planned on suicide killing him twice here. 1st immediately after the fight, as he was on the horse he planned on spearing Commodus while he was in his box. Prevented that when Commodus decided to leave prematurely to meet him. 2nd attempt: as Commodus was coming out, Maximus picked up the head of a Speer he could easily conceal… then he would just rush him as Commodus came closer, killing him before the Preatorians killed him…. But that plan was no good as Commodus inadvertently had Lucious in front that acted as a shield. Maximus did not want to hurt him. “I really am trying to kill him, so far unsuccessfully. He’s quite viley like his old man.” 😊
I only just realised now he was still holding the broken arrow when he turned his back to commodus. Commodus must’ve been curious as to what he was holding?
Wouldent have noticed Roman solders and guards keeped there fist clenched when in the city proper because with the exception of the “royal” guard the soldiers entrusted with protecting the consul and senators of Roman were not allowed to carry weapons within the city limits
well if multiple Oscar awards winner Dennis Washington himself wouldn't have said, that the new gladiator actor "could deliver".. or maybe with enough money he would have... Well then we have to go and see it for ourselves :DDD Aight
Money. The sequel is just a cash grab. It’s even the same plot as the first which means no originality. Cinema today isn’t about bringing an experience to people to enjoy, it’s about making the most money. They should’ve have left this one alone.
