Great info
Thanks
Great video thanks 👍
Great video.
Would love to see the finish product. I do have a question. I used the upol 3253 primer.. and I was told that it’s a direct to metal primer. So when I follow people’s videos it is kind of hard because type all use epoxy primer first and then the 2k primer before sealer or paint.. when I’m sanding I hit metal instead of epoxy primer. I was also told that you cant put body filler over the upol primer so do I have to sand those spots back down to bare metal in order to use body filler
You can use a skim coat over the primer if it is prepped properly with 80/180 grit, and then reprime with the 2253
Also the final video on the impala is on the channel
Question, do you rough up the low spots before filling them. I saw one video where the person circled the low spot with a pencil so as not to loose it when he roughed it up. He was using powder for the guide coat. I love your videos your a good teacher. Thanks
Absolutely, and thanks for watching
great vid, question, how long do you let 2k sit before sanding so you wont have any shrinking issues?
A day or 2 is fine as long as it is in a heated shop
thanks so much, I appreciate it@@bpbrestorations2093
