  • This video is part of a series. In this video I use some spalted red oak slabs
that were not usable for anything else and I turn them into usable boards to dress up my cluttered tool wall. The next video in this series I will be making shelves to hang hand planes on the wall. Be sure to hit the subscribe button and ring the bell to be notified when the next video it posted.
    Thanks for watching

We definitely like the look very much. Looking forward to seeing what else you do with the tool wall!

Flooring is an excellent product to use for non-flooring projects 😁! Initially, I wasn't sure about dark colors, but I think it looks really, really good!

I've used that type of flooring in my rental property, (the Vinyl product is good too) and I did notice your joints, AND the adhesive application so I didn't think that was an issue.-but I'm sure the flooring experts would have called you out) Plus, like you said, it's a work shop, good place to try and use excess stuff that we accumulate. Better than the landfill. Good use for it.

This is going to look awesome. Organized looks good but also makes future projects go smoother. Flooring is put to a great use. Do you use this just for tool storage or projects alo?

The tool wall be to hang frequently used tools on and the work surface will be a place to lay tools I have out when working on something. The cabinet below houses mostly power tools
