honestly hyped for this build. Carb'd coyote is gonna hurt some feelings and I'm calling it now... people are gonna say "he cant tune his own cars so he went to carb cause it's easy"
100% haters will shit on it, then a small trend of dudes will run carbs lol
Nobody is going to say that… if anything he is going to run into more problems with a blow through carb getting it to run very efficiently and being dialed in. Anyone who says that doesn’t know cars
I see what you did there “i want to dip a disposable wrench in there”.
Iykyk 😂😂😂😂😂
Try Japan dryer mixed in when using the foam brush. Will help it dry faster. Could also mix in hardener.
Wasn't it senior who recommended the foam brush? 8:30
😂 na man
Come on
😂😂😂
I was looking for this comment 😂
I used the hammered paint with a foam brush on my cage in my fox and it holds up well and if it gets fucked up it’s super easy to touch up. Looking great Alex!
I would do the Rino liner shit in a can on the floor. It just sprays on and helps a lot from sliding around
Been slacking lately but here to catch up on some good coyote knowledge 😎
Haha this is a paint video. 0 coyote stuff here
Usually, people huff paint before posting questions on the peasant chat, so i can see his logic.@YDBT4LIFE
Turvi is taking notes ✍️
If you clear coat it after it helps a lot with the hardening
You need a buzzard catcher sticking out of the hood like some back yard hillbilly Alex lol
I know you are painting gold but that vht roll bar chassis paint dries hard as a rock.
2k clear over the hammer tone paint will prevent it from being sticky
Cage turned out great! I know all that paint work sucks. I've done it on 3 different cars now and I doubt I'll ever do another one. Looks great though! 👍🏿
Thanks sir.
Well damn Alex if I knew you were doing this I would have sent you one of my old paint guns they only cost me $24 I use it twice
As a professional painter thank you.... So many people do not realize what it takes as far as primers/base coats can do to how the paint behaves. Thanks for bringing it to the every day garage peasants 🤙🏻
If you want to prep/clean a surface there isn't a better product on the market than Bestine. It removes any adhesive as well as oils on a porous level. 🤙🏼
I'm not even creative enough to think of stuff like this, let alone actually do it. Well done, sir! That color on the cage looks great! 👍
Ooh jeez, dipping a wrench!!!?!? My thoughts went elsewhere
That cage paint looks awesome man!
Cage is looking good! Gloss sand was definitely the way to go.
Dropping a like and digging the paint scheme.
She’s setting up and looking goooood. The hammertone gives the applied panels character visually. Love this build series you’re sharing with us brother. I am not familiar with that wheel hub tool! To measure 📐 for clearance parameters? Look forward to the next video in the series!! 🔭
They make aerosol products that have a button to realize 2k hardener into. Eastwood and spray max are two brands that come into mind they may have something you’re looking for. I’ve used it multiple times and liked it.
Your cage color does work with the interior.. I have painted 3 cages with the Forged Hammered Rust-Oleum paint.. Its a much better look IMO as it has some contrast within the hammered spots and doesn't look as much like just plain spray paint.. You should check it out.. The Forged Hammered comes in 3 colors, Antique Pewter, which is grey w/ the blackish dings, and the Chestunut which is dark brown with redish hue/black ding marbling, and Forged Hammered Burnished Amber, like the color of an Amber beer, lighter than Chestnut sorta copper/burnt darker orange also the ding marbling.. After seeing tons of cages and never having an issue with sticky or dings/squishing/wearing thru, I wouldn't use anything other than the spray Forged Hammered..
Get yourself a stock replacement black carpet. It will make the inside look 200x nicer. It will make the whole thing feel more put together. It will quiet down and it will absorb a ton of light so you’re not blinded by glare off a shiny floor.
Alex - Goto any autobody supply store.. they will be able to match up the exact color you want and put it in spray bombs.. also better paint, tough and cures quickly
Get a spray shield. Hell of a lot better than taping. They make them or you can use a drywall taping/putty knife to
Warm those cans up before spraying.
If the color is what you’re looking for, try a 2k clear coat over it. Most places have the stuff where you hit the button on the bottom to release the hardener. Might get what you’re looking for without going the pro route and if not you’re only out $10
Alex you should a a turvi bro you need a roller, truck bed rhino liner and glitter 😂😂😂 nah it looks great the direction your going I love your fairmont when I was really young my mom had one lol so Im biased…..
I know couple old guys that would add hardner to Rustoleum pints and gallons to create a harder surface. Not sure how good or easy but an idea perhaps.
Alex are you sure that you dipped that wrench in paint, or did you secretly start an only fans to pay for the 5.8?
Purple color of Dark horse will looking sick
Alex I know someone that wants to use that wrench when you're done with it😂
Alex if you know the paint code for hush money take it to an paint supply place and they can mix it and put it in a spray can.
you still with lund i watch all your videos get back to me
Keep in mind it takes 1k paint weeks to really cure
Cage looks excellent Good job
Did the notch sell already?
I vote thin rug and if possible trim the rear plastics not really much weight but would make the rear quarters look a lot better
Glad you went with the gloss sand to match the car, it’s definitely unique. I like these videos where you take us along and show us the trials and tribulations with getting this car set up nicely. Great video
Algorithm juice 🧃
Cage looks great
Hello...you need to clean all metal surface with brake clean or aceton to remove all grease....for best result bud
Lmao no shit..what do you think I did....hahahahaha
MAKES ME WANT A LTD
First 🫥🤣
Sweet
Who is doing your cage work? I can’t find a guy in Florida.
I shipped it to Maryland
Florida is gay for good fab work unless you go to blacklist in Tampa or ravecraft down here.

Lookin good! I don't see the ops doing any of this kind of informative stuff on RUclips!
Check out kbs rust seal. They have a product called top coat that is brush on and hardens.
Shit looks bad ass I love that color you ended up doing the cage in
You would be amazed at how good the brush on hammer tome comes out.
Channel is growing fast. When I joined it was only a few of us.
That looks great 👌. The hammer texture is niceee.
It looks amazing 🤩
The tan looks good!
Lookin good man.
