An educated consumer is an empowered consumer. An educated & empowered consumer is the best customer for me, and for most companies. It's why I focus on sharing the knowledge I've been fortunate enough to gain.
It's true about the Sai li return style kit. My relays get super hot and started metling the fuses. It's given me so many electrical issues, my power steering pigtail and fan shroud pigtail melted as a result. And this is all after I blew up my gen 1 motor. Saving up for a fore fuel system. Thanks alex keep dropping the truth. #YDBT4lyfe
Someone from Leafal - We're using the injectors that Whipple provides in their kit which are the 2020 GT500 injectors. We also have a Lethal Performance fuel+ fuel pump voltage booster installed on the car.
I stand by what I said, why can't the cobra have AC? When you're moving ac doesn't matter, but when you're at a red light, especially a long red light, that AC will be a joy. Especially since you said you wanted a hard top cobra
lol please… he lives in Florida where it humid and hot all the time .. I live in Las Vegas… and I can tell you NO CONVERTIBLE top car will do you any justice sitting at a long red light…. The cold air won’t even make it to you. So yes a convertible car with ac is just comedy. Why even buy a convertible 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻
The AC/Shelby Cobra has always been my dream car.., but still have never sat in one, and at 6'3", I don't know If I would fit in one without my head above the windshield.. But 600-800whp in a 2200-2300lb car sounds Fuckin Amazing..!!
True shops only care about the money not the customer in my experience. Literally if I can’t do the work myself or a buddy can’t fix it, I rather take my car to a ford dealer vs a local shop that’s how bad they are in Dallas and the dealer isn’t that much better
I truly don't understand the E30 obsession from people in the know. "Oh but it increases octane". If you want more octane safely, with no octane booster, use the same ethanol blend mindest for octane. Target 95 or so octane to make sure it's nice and sweet, and add the appropriate amount of unleaded 100 octane to the tank in addition to your 91 or 93. No tune changes needed, no risk of throwing off fueling, no risk of deposits. "Oh but that's 50-70 bucks a tank". Oh well 🤷🏻
Gotta defend the new fuel system guy. A fuel cell would bring a street car closer to a race car. Being able to run on 4 gallons would work as a selling point, but it can't be a primary one.
We deal with Ai here in Australia with our Ford falcons and I’ve seen multiple 700whp cars drop fuel pressure at the track when under half a tank of fuel even with the fancy Venturi system that they run they also make very bold claims here with factory 5/16 feed line being able to feed over 1000hp with two 267’s feeding the engine which is not the case in our experience. You have limited for space in the fuel pot then you go put two large pumps in there. The tank in a S550 is not as deep as our Falcon so I’d say you guys will have more issues than we do.
Hey Alex, can you give us a monitor view of your setup. You are looking at something and I’m curious. I agree with the cobra. They are badass. I will have one as well.
With parts, you either pay the upfront cost for plug and play, or you pay in time to make em work. Time isn't free, whether it's shop time or personal time.
Eric Vega needs to do some more investigating on his fuel pump. Fuses usually blow for a reason. Either the pump is starting to fail or something in wiring is grounding out somewhere or maybe he has a loose connection causing a voltage drop.
Just my opinion but I feel like if people were to price out quality components to build their own stand-alone fuel system then maybe they'd understand why for innovations is it is as expensive as it is. Side note in the end that 5.8 will cost half the entire car just disgusting dude fkd you over.
My nephew bought a bolt on gen2 that came with a lethal fuel system kit and what a big hunk of shit it is. If I can tell the difference in a N.A. car I don’t even wanna imagine how it would be on a boosted high hp car. Fore innovations or nothing

9.25 @ 146 with a G3 ESS on our S197…and as always Lund for the win!!!!
Camaro trans fails again it’s getting sold. For a s550 or a s197 This should help the algorithm.
If you breaking trans my mans I think the issue is behind the steering wheel and in front of the driver seat😂
@demarkisdinkins2737 especially a tr6060 if that's what it is they're strong.
Time to call tick performance stage 5

Bro was mid way flashing a tune a opened the door to get a elote😂😂😂😂😂
My boss has a F5 cobra kit car with a gen 1 coyote, it’s a handle full in N/A form I couldn’t imagine a boosted on.
Bro that black coyote cobra looked sooo clean 🤯
And you can tune it yourself
The Backdraft cobra is the nicest hardtop in my opinion
You got to drive a Cobra. They are squirly A/F!! Drove a coyote 6 speed. Whooooo! Hell of a machine to die in.
I have many times. It's meh
Great video, like usual 👌, not a massive Cobra fan, but gd that thing is immaculate!
Fairmont is KING!!
Was listening on my headphones then turned around to see it and my god it's hot

I think you can get a hard top for the Mk III

Hey Alex, put that Cobra paint scheme on the Fairmont (black with satin black stripes)!

The owner of vanguard is my neighbor, buy it and I’ll drive it down to FL for freeeeeeeee

oh man bottom end report .. breadman strikes again. Alex is going to own owlett .

Bosch 57 is what I was told by whipple.

When I ran my fastest pass I was lean as hell because I accidentally left the methanol injection off from messing with wot box settings.
Leaner is meaner and will usually make more power at the cost of safety. You're lucky you didn't blow your shit if it was like real lean.
@@midnight347 na, it won’t go super lean. It was only like .83 lambda at the highest but most of the time it was .79.
Hey alex the parts farm had a 2.3 roush a couple days ago 👍
It's a gen1 roush
Alex, with amount of money and time you have into the gt500 you could of had a viper
Yea ...but the content I've given you would've not been available if I had not invested in that 1st. Chicken/egg
Dude has a gt500 and a zr1 … the best of both who need a viper lol
Alex you got the Whipple camp balls in your hands they have limited the comments on Instagram the day after you call them out 😂
Hahahahahahaha.
Remember seeing that rod bearing on gt500 failing and everyone commenting saying it was normal wear….. 🫠
