What a great episode. Really loved the part about the melted cats on the 2024 Whipples. Also how they're tuning around it OR illegally and the double standards of it all.
Great show!🔥
I’ve been saying the same thing about the ford warranty. They won’t cover shit if you break the motor or trans.
My Dad used to be a Ford tech and he told me if I had the dealership do a few stupid things like change the diff oil, a few oil changes, etc. that it would "show loyalty" when warranty work was needed. He was right, because I never had a single issue getting warranty work done on my tuned Roush TVS car. They even fixed a popped ringland at 59k miles. They fully honored the 60k power train warranty.
I did the same.
Same here in my supercharged Camaro.
All service done at dealership
They replaced driveshaft, axles, etc all under warranty haha
I don't trust dealerships to actually do the work.. Most of these dealer's will never change the fluid and then say they did!! The only way that is happening is if I am standing there watching with my own to eyes..
@marcasswellbmd6922
These days you never know
Hard to find a decent mechanic
I’m out of the coyote game for a little while. I traded it for my dream car I’ve been wanting to get for years. Very hard decision but I went ahead with it. I will be back in a coyote but will be in a fox platform!
Awesome what car did u get?

Saw this post today; glad you saw it!
Thanks for another great episode
That boomer JJ probably posted that in about 20 groups too. 🤣
That was good racing. Some of the fastest new model cars around were there. Went and had a great time. There Lund cars were out and running strong. First time at the track. Great track.
Hey Alex,
I have a 2018 GT with a stage 2 whipple, on e85, 3.5 pulley, with proper fueling, and ofc a vented catch can. how often do you recommend an oil change? I am on 5w-50 and I don’t do pulls often and I daily this car.
Back for the replay Amry
You can hear on the shifts that it’s slipping every shift. I was curious if anyone knows about his clutch set up and if there is a slipper device.
Missed the live but I guess the high revving stock/oem manifold for LS is Trailblazer SS intake, or the LS2 truck manifold. They make decent power just ugly asffff
Hot smogs in California are usually done by DMV people not smog techs
The computer will fail it for modified software even if you hit pass on everything
I used to work for the Ford warranty. The warranty for the blower and added parts are handled by Shelby. Ford will and can deny the claim if the added parts caused damage.
Thanks for the show brother! Hope you and the rest of the guys have a great week!
Thanks again Alex ! I was just thinking of driving 5 hrs to see about getting 1 from them. You’re so inspiring!! Too bad I don’t have a Ford because I definitely would be a subscriber!!😊
They should take care of that guy with the Shelby truck.. If He paid that Shelby Tax they shouldn't argue and just do it!! It's not like he took a regular F150 and then slapped a Whipple on it himself.. That's terrible...
For real. I feel bad for the guy. I was *almost* in the same boat. My motor popped at 5,403 miles on the clock and luckily my dealership ate it and it didn’t go against the Whipple/FRPP “warranty”.
Jesus christ, 2024 is the year of resonator deleter and "fender extender" mentality
This is why you dont buy those factory boosted cars and actually expect a warranty. Better off getting something used and modding and tuning it correctly for alot less money and forget the stupid "warranty".
8.8s easy to cut down, section a piece off of what you wanna cut down and reweld. If your axles are splined long enough you simply cut them down.
LMAO
@@YDBT4LIFE ...yup funny to you, easy for me. Stick to tuning ill stick fab work
I really like all the videos of your fab work
Whipple pays ford hush money and ford gives them the "golden ticket" to tune 24s exlisively, both win.
Missed the live but caught the replay. This is the very reason why I done a cat delete an LTH on my 23’ Roush F-150. Ever since they were gone the truck runs so much better. My dealer that does all my maintenance said they will warranty any failures as well since the cat delete.
I stopped listening to it for a while and came back to the rim fender thing. And I am a little floored that people would rather chop the rear apart than just get a different wheel offset!!??? Like WTF??
Its funny because the warranty is the only selling point they had on them over-priced turds lol. Without that the 24s REALLY dont make sense lol...
Nothing different between the stage 1 whipple and stage 2 whipple other than the 3.875 pulley and 100mph limiter for stage 1 and 3.75 pulley and 135mph limiter for stage 2.
I like my whipple truck but the warranty is trash.
E85 burns several hundred degrees cooler, so running E30, cats should be less of an issue with getting hot and melting I believe.
LOL show me the data on stock cats, boosted coyotes and E85 please, i'm sure you have those numbers to have commented before doing any research?
Regardless what you run, should be a unlockable tune free car so everyone gets what they paid for.
@@surge45-70 no.
Exhaust temperature isn’t the primary concern. Catalytic converters use a chemical reaction with the exhaust heat and the passing exhaust air to convert the hydrocarbons into different compounds that are “better” for the environment. The chemical reaction needs the temperature, correct flow and volume to work. No way is an EPA listed exhaust filtration system that is rated for 400-450hp going to be capable of handling a 700hp load at the same diameter.
Whipple has fords gold ticket to tune the car nobody else does. Its a monopoly. Its all a money thing lol. Aint it always
That's total BS that they sell Whipple equipped vehicles advertised in such a way they know what you're doing with it but then don't have a proper tune and won't back it up with warranty.
I've seen this from day one. This is why the whole big power "with a warranty" is a joke. I knew they'd pull this shit. You're better off getting an older car and modding it.
@@midnight347 Yeah for real. Low to no miles plus warranty is like the whole reason people buy new lol
You lose your Ford factory warranty when you get the FRPP kit.
I'm in Dirty Jersey.....unfortunately need cats......horrible state
I don’t see the big deal in spending THOUSANDS of dollars and all the time not to mention the wait time narrowing a rear end. 🤣🤣🤦🏻🤦🏻
DAMBBB that ESS was scooting
some people just say some of the dumbest shit on earth
28:57 what scenario do you think they are doing? Both are super shady and bad business
So question, when we “landed” on the moon, wheres the pic of the person who landed first to set up the photography equipment? Have you ever really looked at the equipment they “landed”? It has duct tape on it with flimsy bs doors. They asked one of the guys involved with design, what he thought about the structurally poor design what made it so premier, the answer was really good engineered. Don’t believe everything your eye sees from NASA. You think SEMA is corrupt and the car industry…..
K let me guess, your also gonna say 9/11 was an “inside job” 🤦♂️
I've has 2 different service managers tell me that Ford is datalogging your vehicle from the day it comes off the assembly line.
