I love this series ❤️ even though I've paid attention to past videos, it's hard to retain the knowledge when not using it everyday. This is a good reminder! 👍
Killer videos. My coyote swap fox gen3 car I plugged off vacuum boost ref at the regulator its NA should I give it vacuum ref? Video makes perfect sense to me.
awesome content i love this series, when they talk about the lighting issue it might be you casting a shadow might want move the light to the other side so you don't cast a shadow on the white board but it don't matter the information is more important
Great job. Would love to be a calibrator. I’ve been a Ford tech for 17 years and taken many tuning courses. What your saying is in line with everything I’ve learned. I’m an information nerd. I love these kind of videos.
@@YDBT4LIFE I believe you. I got first hand experience tuning a procharged 3v for a friend. Got it running mint. Then he wants to shoot flames. Adds a wot box to try and shoot flames. Then starts questions the tune cause the wot box was causing issues. 🤦♂️

Hey Alex. Quick Q. My car is Lund Tuned. 2021 Mach 1, Hellion Sleeper, 6MT, DW400, ID1050X. Fuel is 50:50 91 + VP110. Last time I datalogged on the dyno (to test cutouts) it appeared I was running into a fuel delivery issue above 7000rpm on high boost (12.5psi). It was a very cold day (30F but im at altitude = 4500ft). Could I add a BAP for added safety margin without a tune revision? Is that a good call OR should I keep boost lower (I am currently) and just save for a multi pump system. Car made 940s on a chassis dyno in SLC, UT.
These whiteboard videos are truly a channel hallmark, views set aside, this series will be something akin to a cyclopedia for the newer “folk” and some of the vets to use when trying to understand what’s really going on under the hood. Needless to say great video again!
Hey Alejandro, my short trim fuel trim stays within 5% but on a pull it went to 10% rich and the opposite bank would raise to 7%. I am catless and have codes due to being catless and am on a gen 3 coyote e85. Should I replace the o2 sensors? I also watch my afr go from 8-9.9 my tuner says everything is fine but I feel like they are over looking me and just moving on to the next guy.
I also have the ESS kit on a 21 GT. Fuel regulator is connected to the factory vacuum source. Is that correct? Don’t currently have a way to monitor boost, only vaccuum
I tell people all the time if you really want to learn car stuff come to this channel every time.
You and i both know. People don't want to learn on RUclips.
We are all gonna be certified Instagram tuners after these series. Gracias Tio
Very appreciative of all the information you provide!
Very good and informative!
Shadd's car is nice. Awesome that you did the troubleshoot from a datalog
more of this please
Appreciate the class and the mention! Amazing what a little tube can do! Great video

I love these videos!! Thank you!!
Another good video. It is neat to see how everything works.
Thanks for another great video!
Bicho, I never knew the word throttle didn’t have an L in it lol throtte 😉
Great info once again!!
These whiteboard discussions are good, Alex.
I'm sure you'll be able to reference them when people ask questions in live chats.
👍
Bad ass shit sir
Please continue doing these 👌

This is so complicated, glad there's an Alex outhere

It sucks. You make ghost cam tunes and explain how n.a. is a waste of time for 6 hrs of the day.

These videos are great! Pairing these videos with your older videos on data logging has taught me SO MUCH useful information. 👍

Have you seen any issues in data logs with dead heading a return style system vs flow through?
Only in high horsepower applications over 1,000 under that deadheading in my opinion is fine
I know you hate us 3.7 guys. But some of this information is the same for the V6. This is good shit everyone needs to hear. 👌🏼

Never mind it is not just while I’m a pull my fuel trim driving around was at stft bank 1 was at -15.4% and my stft ban2 was at -11.9%
Should I replace my sensors? Or could it be bad due to bad E85?
Another outstanding episode in the white board series Alex. Speaking of the gen. III Coyote's, does having 16 injectors simplify or complicate things?
Professor Flores
Alex is getting us ready for when the epa shuts tuning down and everyone has a Holley on their car.
Now I know why my STFT always reads around 5 on my nGauge when I'm driving, cuz I be idling for 20 minutes eating in the car during my lunch break 🤣
Wide open throtte
On the Gen 1/2 WOT data log, are you looking at STFT or LTFT in real time?
STFT
Alex what's the trims on open loop vs closed? My car runs excellent warm, cold it sucks

Alex, my gen 1 is on E85 and has 153k on the original pump. NA car.. Is the DW400 a decent replacement?
