    LMAO! Love the Ultimate Header banner slogan. I, too, get annoyed with technology and how often the creators update/change things. I still think a 4 door Mustang would have a market since the CTSV blackwing starts at over $90k, but that's also hoping that the Mustang eventually gets unlocked for tuning. If you want to continue doing S197 mods/testing, you'll just have to wake up extra early before the sun is up too high in Mexico 😉

    On the topic of manufacturers checking out their competitors cars, saw a dodge viper torn apart in the same building where Ford's SVT concept cars were. Also saw the Ford GT concept before it came out in 2006, blew us away.

    I think what killed the Camaro back then was the fact that even though it was the better performing car between it and Mustang GT/Cobra (Pre Terminator), it still didn’t outsell the Mustang. Camaro having to play second fiddle to the Corvette at all times didn’t help either.
    SS-R, Silverado SS, GTO, G8, CTS-V, STS-V XLR, Trailblazer SS and all those 5.3 FWD cars were all in the pipeline back then ready to take more market share from the Camaro. I question was there anyone around back then who went to bat to try and keep it in production.
    Transformers the reason it came back but between the Mustang catching its stride in 2015 with the S550, the Scat pack and Hellcat entering the fray, Another G8 run in the form of the Caprice and SS, the success of the C7, and rumors surrounding the mid engine C8, a styling fumble for the 2018/19 (19/20?) model year, and sales probably put it in hiatus again.
    Cheap LS swaps also keep people from pulling the trigger in a new Camaro Also

      Chevy tends to make good muscle/sports cars but always have shit advertising. The SS 1LE is an insanely capable track car but only people really in know even know about it, but everyone knows a Mustang has a manual and a V8 cause Ford markets like crazy.

      Not only that, but the 4th gen F-body design wise was a pile of trash, with poor build quality. Say what you want about the SN, but it was a way better design chassis wise and in styling.. I honestly feel since ive owned both, that the 3rd Gen F-body is waaay better than the 4th.. The perfect car would be a IROC-Z or Trans Am that's equipped with FE2 suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes.. with an LS swap, some parameter subframe connectors and an upgraded Rear end makes for a far better car than a 4th Gen..

      @@t.j.soccorsi8810worse part of the 4th gen fbodies was working on those piles, the rear plugs under the windshield was a really bad design. Then you have the tq arm suspension and glass rearend, it was a design that was outdated. The LS was a good but it needed a better chassis than the fbody. The 6th gen Camaro would’ve been great if you could see out of it.

      They also sucked in terms of engine packaging. It was next to impossible to get a set of decent performing long tube headers designed for those things

    Ct5 V blackwings are underated, they don't got the hype like hellcats but they are an all around better sedan than chargers imo. And they got a manual option

    What for should have done with the Mach E is do the same thing Hyundai is doing but then be able to choose different year mustangs or the Ford gt or any of their race cars and make the power band and torque curve mimic those cars, and if you can use the paddles then they can put in a "stick shift" where you can change gears, I know its gay but its better then nothing

      EXACTLY! You could even have a clutch pedal drop down if you “selected” a manual car. When everything is drive by wire- why not have it mimic a clutch and a top loader? Imagine being able to have four wheel torque vectoring and so much horsepower and computer modeling that you could tell the thing to be a 1969 Boss Nine on your way to work- then have it become a 2008 Fr500s with an aluminator and 315 race slicks on all four corners. There’s absolutely no reason they couldn’t model everything from the sounds, the handling, the balance, the speed, the torque curve and ecen the clutch and tranny linkage so it drives better than a simulator- shit with HUD and smart glass you could even have the car mimic gauges and mirrors and sight lines. Shit- Ford Performance could not only sell the different simulations for people to download but they could even virtually offer all the go fast bits the govt has taken away- you want to upgrade your Cobra Termibator mod with long tube headers and a bigger pulley? That’s $7.00 for the header and $11 for the pulley. Want to mimic building up a real gt350 race car like you were carol shelby in 1965? Great! Buy the 1965 fastback coupe-upgrade the suspension- tear out the interior and back seats- the start modifying the engine. Play the game at home- run the car on a virtual dyno and at a virtual laguna seca on your computer- then if you like it- pay your bill and upload the new mods into your car’s 1965 Mustang mod.

    The 5.4/5.8 gt500s can make that kind of torque maybe not 730/800 but they can make similar tq to hp with the right setup. When you say no mustang you mean coyote based engines lol...older gt500s actually have torque.

    I don't understand why Ford fanboys that want a 5.0 V8 in a sedan/SUV so badly don't go buy a used Jaguar XJ or F Pace with the supercharged V8. Slap on an upper/lower pulley and a tune they make mid 600hp/tq at the crank on 93 and use a 1.9 TVS blower.
