What’s even more gay is when an F150 gets a whipple tune it gets a 100mph limiter. You have to get the “stage 2” to get the 135mph limiter.
That’s only if you buy the ford performance “FP700” kit. All Whipple branded kits have a 135mph limit.
@@nickpurciello5328 not true. The whipple stage 1 kit is speed limited for warranty purposes. The stage 2 is set at 135mph. I already called whipple and asked them about this. By increasing the speed to 135mph they drop the transmission/differential/transfer case protection from their warranty. I even have an email from them from October 16th 2023 confirming that with the stage 2 configuration tuning.

@@enrikdhima654 not sure what you’re asking but this is what they told me, stage 2 is speed limited to 135mph and 6700 rev limit.

I code my tunes so they can't be piggybacked so when they take the car elsewhere for tuning, It has to be from scratch. Not only does it take all those out the equation even other kinds of positive displacement blowers like a tvs. This is why vmp teamed up with whipple that was the only way they could offer a product for the s650 because IT IS NOT TUNABLE and likely wont be (their decision to do that is very telling imo)

@Chaseponder you could say the same thing about you and blowers lol. Obviously turbos will make more power and go faster equally sized to the engine but on a street car blowers are pretty good. Either can do well but don't pretend like turbos don't also come with their own set of issues just like anything else.
