      He’s too inconsistent. It goes up and down because he’ll take long breaks. I love the guy though he’s the reason a lot of my friends got into racing a decade ago.

    • @FastPaull
      @FastPaull 3 месяца назад

      @peachdaddy I disagree. There were times where he was making multiple videos a week. I think its just the algorithm catering to newer channels. I think he made his channel in like 06-07. If he made a new channel and posted the same stuff. I'm willing to bet he'd get to 200k subs within a few years.

    • @hydrocarbon8272
      @hydrocarbon8272 3 месяца назад

      If you look at some of his early LS1Tech posts, those guys tried to sh*t all over his attempts to make it cheap. At one point he had a company custom grind him a turbo cam...and it worked poorly so he tried cheap off the shelf Elgin - now known as the Sloppy Stage 2.

    Matt is the only reason I went LS. Period. From the early 2000s with Fairmont part 1 that broke the rear and ended up in the ditch. Lol. Now I'm building turbo trailblazer ss that make 800+ on stock bottom ends. Take that Elon Musk lol

    Cooper and Matt thanks for doing this, what I want people to remember is the EPA are people who work for our government and are not elected and not accountable to us but only to who we elect so it is changeable but requires correct and careful information getting to the right people in charge, but there's got to be enough people willing to say something to the next person running for Congress/Senate/President.

    I first saw this guy on d series Honda forum doing exactly what he described here. 95% of the forum people just repeated stuff they heard about what would work or what was possible. They’d tell him he was an idiot, and two hours later he’d post of video doing that exact thing and it was working. Instantly hooked.

    I bought my 12 silverado new with a 6.2 and put a LS9 cam in it after the first year. Since the first month of ownership, I used a Diablo unity tuner and increased line pressure by 10 percent. Never had an issue. Went through the trans at 90k just to do it under warranty (I'm a gm mechanic). It's at 210k now. Now issue's and still whole shots like a mother. It had a stock 6L80e but after the rebuild. I put the 90e clutch pack in. Still running the stock converter

He has definitely earned a new subscriber, he has a great entertaining way of explaining things, all the knowledge with some amusing and interesting anecdotes, appropriate amount of metaphors etc, and a great back and forth rapport with yourself also. One of my favourite conversations on here and I had never heard of the guy. Thank you again for excellent work as ever also of course, as usual well hosted, just the right amount of rope provided per se, and as alluded above you connect together and bounce off each other EVEN more than normal.
