Lund Racing FTW!!!
THE Coyote king Lund Racing, been waiting for this one.
The Lund's are so legit
I love the Lunds. Legendary guys who so earned/deserved that win. They deserve all the credit and all the praise. I can’t say enough good things about them.
I'm a Lund (from Norway) and even I'm proud of what John and the Lund Racing team are doing.
You should consider having Jake, from Power By The Hour next. Great episode!
Haven't clicked on a video faster (other than when Alex Flores was on)
His dad is a great guy. I met him when my company moved most of their business to Florida. We talked for over an hour about the business and the epa bs
Jr ftw....lund are the goats. If I had a ford product they would be doing the tuning for sure. Murder nova should tune in at 22:10 to learn about locking cams out lol
I thought you had a coyote.
They are good for coyote stuff when it comes to the other ford's like terminators and older gt500s and basically anything that isn't coyote based they are also good but those systems are alot less involved than coyote tuning so it's easier to find good tuners that can do just as good. They own the coyote tuning market but not all of Ford. They won't even tune older stuff anymore like alot of other companies will.
@@jdswag5436 I have a 2008 honda crv... hahaha
@@minibikemadman i have a 2018 civic besides the s550
The only single turbo truck I saw have promise with spool vs powerband etc. was that kit Jake from PBH was working on with Alex and then he bailed on it. Can't blame him, just saying that seemed the best "street/weekend warrior" viable single kit I had seen.
I'll be back to edit and clean up. But for now.

Thank you, I'll add it to the episode
Great video! Love listening to the Lunds talk about tuning and racing! Definitely the best tuners out there for the Coyote platform!
Great one Cooper.. Respect to John Jr.. Probably one of the most humble, respectful, smart, and innovative guys in the community.. He and his father have single should be respected for a ton of the if not most of the success of the Coyote movement. True innovators.
Lund is the pinnacle of ford tuning. Great Episode giving shine to those who deserve it :)
Legit podcast Legit guest watched every minute great job
Coyote Cooper needs to happen
Lund racing for the win!! #lundamry
People can hate Lund all they want, but they are the real deal when it comes to the coyote. LUND FTW!!

Perfect interview Coop! Accommodating while still explaining why you have differing opinions on certain things 🙏.
.
Not that my opinion really matters, but I do want to throw props in whenever possible 👍
The amount I want a 4 door whippled f150 for a daily is very high all because of Lund and Alex Flores.
Do it! Loving my 4 door long bed whipple daily.

@Sptsmn700 what year F150?
this was a great show, you both are very knowledgeable lol ! I learned a lot today thanks coop!!😁😁
Hell yea, thanks for kicking off my work day right!
Thanks for the video. Very informative!
Great podcast, good chemistry on this one.
Great convo so far
Love it, lots of good information.
This will be a great show!
Great episode 👌🏼
cooper has the best and only good racing podcast on this planet.
Awesome episode !
this podcast is gold.
Those 1920 SHELBY GT350's were way ahead of their time !!
Great interview ❤
Looking forward to a Lund Snr interview
I love the Podcast brother!! Congrats!! 🎉 Honda boys want to see @Sonic203 and the Glizzy Gang with the cleanest builds in the Honda world not only for repping CT but all Honda boys in the world!!!
Best one yet
*My tuner here #1 in the market*
DI is *GREAT* for 2 Step and rolling antilag. You can inject on an exhaust cycle.
My 13’ GT is Lund Tuned, Lund FTW
I got here today with zero views and zero likes and by the time the episode was over there were over a thousand views and a hundred and something likes pretty cool to see it grow that quickly in 2 hours.
6r80 king LundRacing👌🏼
If you want to build a 2000hp Coyote make sure you get a 1920 Predator block.
Maybe I’m ignorant but the 5.0 mustang is my favorite sound right now.
It's very generic.
Australia has had the mustang, and several trucks available for last year or 2.
LR FTW 💥👌
That’s my tuna🥰😍🫡💯

Cecil county drag i live about 15 miles from it and can still here the cars running.

Jon Jr. giving up the nerd items like using the DI sensor for other monitored items. Thought they only do fuel and spark lol

If your ford isn’t tuned by lund, you’re leaving some on the table 🤌🏽
If your coyote isn't tuned by Lund you're leaving some on the table
Fixed that for ya. Not all fords have coyote based stuff.
Cooper a coyote in your camaro would be nasty
Iknow you love the 2jz but coyote baby
260 lb/min is 1967g/s... 1967/0.8 is 2459HP worth of air.. the 0.8 is 0.8 grams/sec to make 1 hp.
The chicken came first, that's the only thing I know 😅😂
Rick Crawford would be a good guy to have on Coop.
You can use cam/crank position sensors to tell if a chain is stretched
Cool, so you somehow know more than the premiere Coyote tuners? Please explain how you know something that they don't. What are they missing that you have figured out?
@@robertkenney7122 I’d never say I know more, I think in the moment he probably didn’t think of it by the way cooper asked the question. The factory computer will even throw timing codes using those sensors when it sees a cam/crank timing correlation issue. In the data you can see actual cam position, commanded cam position and the variance between them in relation to the crankshaft expressed in degrees. As engines age and chains stretch you will notice the variance between actual and commanded goes up.
It's not just Ford, all OE with VCT/VVT use some algorithm for cam/crk correlation
@@jkeller69 assuming you know you're base timing is 100% correct vs commanded, and you are always close but never 100% accurate. Even with locked out cams etc there is still heat stretch etc. If you could judge stretch based off data as you say then why aren't they doing it? Come on man.....
@@robertkenney7122 if you’ve seen as many data logs as him, I bet you know what the average parameters would be for a good chain on a mechanically sound engine.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wish his dad would have been on with him bet that would have added another layer to the conversation
The coyote kings
I keep seeing the shorts of Pete Harrell did I miss that podcast or is it not out yet?
He was on the event pregame for snowbirds
Re: loud NA coyotes. One of my cars is a Coyote with catless longtubes and no exhaust. It's also a Comp cams and Cobrajet /monoblade car that revs to 8500. So, I'm glad that John made exception for cars that "rev to 8500" because that is me.
Are we gonna hate on this sound? ruclips.net/video/y1EfLjH4sBo/видео.html
Damn all you guys, I'm slowly being talked into becoming a Ford guy. 😅😅😅
Look at my car lol
Just buy a Mustang already Coop. You know you want one
JL2 won't say it, but I will. We've all seen the screen shot of a tune that had a trickster and a certain dyno shop that's at a beach with palms on it signed in on an old 2nd gen coyote tune that originated with the Lunds.
If you got a coyote 5.0, lund is the way to go if you have a functioning brain! #lundftw
Thank you for specifying coyote and not just saying Ford as if all ford's ever made have coyotes lol.
How come epa isn’t on his ass like pfi and jh ?
They’ve been hit by the EPA…they don’t turn off emission lights like other tuners.
This fella has fast car confidence. Like big d*** energy but fast coyote energy
Machine learning is what you meant... not AI.
.
We really need to get everyone on board with the correct terms/vocabulary soon (when talking about AI). Otherwise it's going to become near impossible to have intelligent discussions about AI in the future.
AI is the science, and Machine learning is the algorithm. So, it would be used to implement large neural nets for machine learning. Talking about AI as a science just makes sense when having a broad conversation about ideas not specifics of how exactly
@@BogettiStudios The problem, with all of that, is that "AI" is becoming a hand wave gesture. It's the modern day version of people using "algorithm" to explain something.
.
The ignorant thought an algorithm was (innately) highly complex, while those who understood knew it was just some logic thrown at a set of data.
.
Basically AI is the same. It's simultaneously becoming the simplification AND complexification of nonsense. There's nothing innate to AI, so I really hope people don't start treating it like there is. You know... Like you can't just throw a "really smart AI" at it, because that is not, and will not, actually ever be a thing.
What's with all the ads.

I have the cheap radios. The difference is I spent $25 on a lapel mic for the $30 radio, and $15 on an antenna, and $20 on a battery.
It now lasts a week, has way more range, and never have problems with ice.
I think most struggle to spend twice what the radios cost on accessories. They are still a bargain, as I built 4 of them and a programming cable for $300, instead of having 2 bcas.
I have had issues with other guys rolling the dial on their bca and losing contact.
And mountain labs (bright orange ones sold specifically for snow sports) are complete garbage. Always iced, batteries suck, and range is measured in feet instead of miles.
20:33 about the guys who have loud Mustangs. I am known by my tuner as the opposite guy. I am procharged, makes 800hp but I have long tubes, no cats, stock resonator, stock cat back. I had long tubes, no cats, MBRP h-pipe, MBRP Race catback. Basically it was a straight pipe Coyote and it so obnoxious. Loud doesn't mean it makes more power. Anything they label as Race or Extreme, please avoid, don't be that guy.
Hey do you have any clips of long tubes with the stock axle backs?
You mean you don’t like the loud as shit Corsa BlowMyDicks?!😂😂
We all appreciate that
@@Mitchellms123 ruclips.net/video/e0huZsZWNJw/видео.htmlsi=C2myuk28RtcrXKy9
The stock resonator is key
That will quiet down any catless obnoxious setup and eliminate that raspy drone
This is what Happens when a GM Guy interviews one of the Coyote Goats. Dumb questions
I can barely watch this because there are TOO MANY COMMERCIALS!!
Alex #YDBT!! I can’t listen to his channel anymore. He has just became a little arrogant to me over the last yr or so.
Your making this old guys brain hurt with all this computer stuff, too much thinking involved takes all the fun out of drag racing.
