  • I installed a 5 plate generator that i made myself, for my 2005 Dodge Magnum, before this instalation i was getting about 16 MPG, now with this generator installed, i just took a 100 mile trip, went to the gas station and filled it up, it took only 3.2 gallans of gas, i don't have an amp guage or anything else, the generator does not run hot, and i made no modifycations to the car, it looks like i could go almost double the miles with this unit installed, thats like paying $1.50 per gallon of gas, i'm gonna try to imrpove this unit, but i'm very happy with it, just the way it is...

    I made a 19 plate dry cell. Installed it on my 93 f-150. I did get 3 to 4 mpg better at first then it went down to lower than normal. That was ducting right into the air box. After seeing how you did yours I tried that. Now consistently getting 4 to 4.5 mpg better. I don't believe my 302 has the map sensor, at least I cant find one. Still learning like everyone else on here. Keep posting and don't worry about trolls. If they have time to write negative comments they are just lazy bastards.

    All these HHO generators look fascinating. The fuel economy reports are almost unbelievable. I know a guy who put one in his car and it worked for a short time until the O2 sensors made the fuel mix go rich and the guy lost all that economy. How do you make it work in spite of the factory-programmed fuel mixture?

    • @jonnyt3397
      @jonnyt3397 10 лет назад +3

      You need an EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injector Enhancer)...look it up on Google, you need to wire it into your O2 sensors and trick the computer into a rich mixture, so the computer will lean out the fuel. Its not hard to install, plenty of videos on how to install a EFIE.

    • @jasonsnell708
      @jasonsnell708 9 лет назад +4

      Joe Mumbach there are also O2 stand-offs that back the sensor out of the exhaust just a little bit so that it doesn't read the excess air/oxygen.

    • @alexparrott6558
      @alexparrott6558 Год назад +1

      Or you just buy a system that separates the oxygen and the hydrogen and only inject the hydrogen into your car. When you buy those kits you don't have to worry about the auction sensors picking up extra oxygen in the exhaust and making your car run rich instead the car will actually run a smidge leaner giving you better fuel mileage even further

    • @cipriansofineti346
      @cipriansofineti346 10 месяцев назад

      its not only the O2 sensor, but the catalytic convertor as well, it gets hot glowing when running on lean AFR due to O2 excess in exhaust.

  • @Mrx2002
    @Mrx2002 11 лет назад +12

    That sensor on the intake hose is the IAT Intake Air Temperature sensor. It tells the computer the temp of the air flowing through the intake and it adjusts the fuel trim (ie. Richer for colder temps and leaner for hotter temps).

    That setup only lasts for a limited time. Running fuel, in your intake, will confuse the computer. You get great mileage for a time. Then your mileage will decrease about 10ish mpg. A little later, it will go down further until eventually it's close to what your vehicle can do without supplemental fuel. Oh, and your check engine light will illuminate. Unless your vehicle is tuned for the supplemental fuel, that is added to the intake, it will not be able to run correctly. The only way you can achieve better mileage is running the supplemental fuel into the fuel injection system as a duel fuel setup.

    so many comments, the sensors are not the problems it is the epa software program that mandates the computer to have 14.5 part air to 1 part fuel. When the HHO goes into the engine it burns 1000 times faster than gas and 1200 times faster than diesel . So you will not have the normal 60% FUEL IN YOUR TAILPIPE/CAT-CONVERTER TO BURN. BASED ON 18 TO 24% EFF. AND 15% HEAT LOSS. yOU WILL HAVE OXYGEN AND LITTLE TO NO FUEL IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF HHO. So your sensors tell the computer to dump fuel in to get the 14.5 to 1 ratio.
    Effies just adjust the sensors signal to the computer so it does not dump as much fuel.
    Map is 10 to 15 % down then the computer thinks it is in the Rocky Mtns and leans out the fuel.
    Iatc you add 4 to 8 volts and it will move closer to top dead center and it rid of the knock and give you about 10% or more savings.
    could tell you hours more. But .... I have 14 lt semies saving 35%
    5.9 cummings going from 19mpg to 29 ( over 85 so far)
    Most get around 35 to 80% if done right.
    There are mechanics with a full tuner geting up to 80% better mpg. But the tuner is 200 bucks.
    His generator is not eff. because he has current leakage around the plates. I build one that is 185% eff. and can run a semi on 22amps. When my new part is made and out of China will be able to do a 14 lt on 13 amps 225% eff.Have fun if you can find me I have the good stuff

    I'd believe this post more "if" you shared more details on your HHO system that you have installed that is capable of essentially doubling the highway mileage advertised for the car. Otherwise this seems total cow dung. Modern electronics on the Magnum will defeat any HHO system installed unless you have the EFIE installed. This video didn't show that.

    Hi there, thank you for sharing your mpg. I did something similar for my 2001 gmc jimmy. But now I have found a better way to make more bubbles than what i was getting. I will try it later today but I wanted you to know about it. go to PROTOTYPE9000 channel on RUclips. His videos are years old but what caught my eye is two stainless steel pipe clamps he used in tap water. No electrolyte. Compared to my machine if I got 20 bubbles per second, his would be about 2000. Its awesome I can't wait to try it. The one i did only gave me 1 mpg more. Thanks again for sharing.

    "Experts", Please read this:
    If you bother to study at all you will notice that the question of energy balance, between Hydrogen energy and energy from the battery, is one very big misconception. The energy does not come from the Hydrogen and does not come from the battery or the alternator! The energy comes from the gasoline when an on board hho generator is installed.
    That's what NASA, the U.S. Patent Office and the U.S. Department of Transportation have known for decades:
    A SMALL amount of supplemental Hydrogen will cause the regular fuel, be it diesel or gasoline, to burn more completely. The extra energy is derived from the more complete combustion process. Less waste = extra energy.
    It's not "free energy".
    But adding HHO gas to a combustion engine gives the extra mileage from LESS WASTE. It's not an opinion, it is the scientific viewpoint.

  • @thorng8116
    @thorng8116 6 лет назад +2

    I lost two batteries because of HHO generators drawing electricity from battery. 2nd problem is air/fuel mixture ratio. If we increase inflow fuel, then engine needs more air to run lean. Unless we install an automatic adjustment of air/fuel ratio with computer software or flashing BCM to 1/17 ratio; otherwise we can only improve about 0-22% on highway AIR depending on car's cpu.
    Look at CNG gas conversion kit.
    Battery isolator, wire, switch, HHO canister, steel plates, corn air filter, throttle body adapter, air/fuel ratio device; etc plus time and effort cost not much better than an octane buster can but get same result. Is that make sense to you all.

    Ok, I am a skeptic here but please prove me wrong. I understand your HHO installation however I do not understand how you are getting 30 mpg. You did add a new system but you have not technically changed anything in the car for example: how the fuel is being injected into the engine. I am assuming this is a stock car and you have not physically manipulated anything but rather just put add a HHO generator on it. Great video but I would like some explanation.

      Think about the volume of air in the combusting chamber with and without hho gas. Without hho, its normal working condition. With hho, the amount of air will be lesser, it means running too rich, too much fuel, not too lean which is too much air. Its just a theory, im not sure lol. Hydrogen lighter than all of the gases.

    If what you say is true about the 16 miles per gallon then American cars do about half the gas milage that the same models do in UK. I think it is the PCV valve you are required to have that messes up the efficiency of the engine, because here we don't have that valve and we get twice as much milage per gallon.

    Your car ran 6,5 km on 1 liter of fuel? Why is america still driving these cars.. My dad has a mini cooper clubman, it drives 26 km on 1 liter of diesel.

      atiseru The EPA restrictions are killing us is what I'm told..if we didn't have that, we'd be running more diesels instead of just in our large trucks. Even in our large trucks, if we take off the emissions equipment, 30mpg is not out of the question.

      This technology was discovered in the 70's I believe. Big oil silenced the idea due to the value of the us currency. Even today, that value depends mostly on oil trade. If we developed hho vehicles, a shit load of folks would be out of work and what the fuck would the Bush family do???? And halibertion??? OMFG

      We do it because we're Americans, and a lot of us like our cars to have HP. And as long as we can afford the gas/fuel we're going to keep doing it. I know this sounds a bit cocky but I really don't mean for it to. It's just the truth. Now we have a bunch of liberals that say they think this is wrong but then they drive big black suvs with 4 or 5 other suvs around them for safety that get like 15 miles to the gallon. And say the rest of us are wrong for what we drive. But anyway a lot of us as well as myself like to be able to go as fast as possible when ever we want to, it's called freedom.....

    • @ybaggi
      @ybaggi 10 лет назад +1

      The people I know who buy these cars don't have gas mileage as their primary concerns. But why not have the car AND the low gas mileage too with a 'fairly simple' install that may run you maybe $1000 or so if you're not mechanically inclined.
      He used to get 16mpg now he gest about 32 (100/3.2) so at $3/gal after 700-800 miles he gets his money back.
      Or you can look at it this way. he only pays $1.5 a gallon.....
      But yes the hybrids are a joke. Here in europe people almost compeet to show who cna drive (or wear) the smalles car... I like a bit of comfort and thus want to buy a bigger car while keeping the gas consumption low...

    like that , in CZECH that made some old man on opel vectra ( 3.8l- 5l / 100km) but is that "UNIT" safety ? (me prefer 1.9 47 Kw Diesel engine) but its only for fun and work... on small VW pickup that take 4-5 L / 100km on custom chassis you can take it under 3.6 L (cca one gallon per 100km)

    Hello.I added HHO to(almost a year ago)my truck an 89 Chevy with 164k on it.When you fill the tank up all the way,were you can see the gas about to run out of the tank.Then do your test and come back to the same station and same pump.When you put nozzle in and lift the handle to the 1st click so the gas flows slowly in.When you did your test,how for do you put the nozzle in?Did you stop at the 1st click of the pump when the gas stop?

    The lead-acid battery was invented in 1859 by French physicist Gaston Planté it was found that over charging produced hydrogen and oxygen, these hydrogen devices are basically the same thing - the acid. nothing new here.

    From the way I understand you have to have some kind of controller like an EFIE in order to help lean out the fuel otherwise the computer will add more fuel from the oxygen being added from the HHO?? If you are getting these Gaines without a controller you would probably get even better results with a controller.

    Im using 8 gauge straid wire on 3 vessels with 13 plates each. So far the mileage have improved 25% and theres a sufficient notice in horsepower. Im planning on upgrading to 4gauge wire as I am melting my 100 amp fuse holder. Also each vessel will have its own fuse of 40 amps, which means ill have to install at least a 150 amp alternator

    • @fishing_with_chaz
      @fishing_with_chaz 2 года назад

      If it's melting the fuse holder I've seen this before your fuse isn't making good contact what I would suggest to fix this is run your wire to a fuse block and use the round glass fuses as they'll make better contact and not melt the fuse holder. I converted my 04 GMC to electric fans and thought I caught something on fire but it was just a melted fuse block

    Installing a better HHO genny would weild even better results, the key to these is better electrolyzers like potassium hydroxide and more surface area, stainless steel helps to resist corrosion too.

    Question❌
    Would one have to reset the computer on car to let it calibrate it with the new fuel added and you would have to have a constant regulated supply or the engine will still burn same gas or this would probably hurt gas milage,

    Just wondering how amps are you running?I'm now at 25 amps with two cells.When I 1st started,I add a EFIE to my oxygen(1.8 volts)sensor with one wire.Did all kinds of test from last August of 2012(got about 1 or 2 miles more per gallon)until just a month ago that my truck did have a Map sensor,this whole time the computer was killing my gains.Got a Map Enhancer form my HHO club & that was preset to 1.8 ohms,there work with a station that works on tuning up motors.
