How many episodes into this series do you figure out you have to use the gold beetles to increase your carry weight? You keep scrolling right over them trying to figure out how to make your carry weight lighter, lol.
Archer still is my nr 1 go to to in DDDA with ranger as my main, its just so addictive with a longbow just knock out pretty much anything out of the sky and pop cyclop eyes etc ☺️👌🏻
I was in awe when i made it to the elves yesterday. Huge trees with rays of light coming through the branches...felt like i was in LoTR or something. Big wow factor
I agree about the hide helm option. Universally loved, especially with how great we can make our characters look. Wasn't there an item in the first one to do that with?
44:35 yeah.. Trolly lizard people have Rage inducing mental paralyzing induce on many.. but yeah FIGHTER makes it Sweet and PERSONAL when it comes to Slaying them ALL
I wonder if it’s just how it comes across on you tube, but it seems like it is hard to see when creatures move in and out of shadows and sunlight in outdoor battles, Wolf doesn’t seem to have any problems though.
Well yes, but I’ll wait a bit myself, still running the first game, and this one improved and mastered some of its Core/unique mechanics, added previously cut content and truly expanded upon everything.
Not to give you a hard time, but I thought that was the point of watching these types of videos: to see if the game is worth it... at any rate, Wolfheart has said a few times that this game could have been game of the year if not for the fps issues and the negative backlash for the cash schematic
Does any one know if any of the loot you find have any unique properties to them other then more damage/knock back. Exploring is a bit of a bummer cause of the stuff you find isnt very unique. Theres something to be said about the experience of exploration(it reminds me of breath of the wild in that the world feels fun to explore) but the reward for exploring is either a ferry stone/wake stone/poet crystal or a piece of gear that has a few more points of damage in it and thats it. Itd be cool to get a bow that had some sort of unique mechanic to it for example and thats just not a thing as far as i can tell?
There's a ton of unique loot all over the map, stuff you cannot buy in shops, etc. There are points in the story as well as location where you get to a better tier of gear, but generally the cool thing in DD is that you don't have to constantly upgrade your gear if you don't want to. Enhance your low level equip and you can even wear that until the end of the game if you like the looks of it. Collecting gear, mix and match to find what you like, is part of the game.
I get that the micro transactions and the performance issues are a shame, but DD2 does not deserve the hate it gets... I love it and it's absolutely my GOTY. Especially that people like to misinform about the micro transactions is so sad. So many people saying this is P2W, or that you can't have fun in game without paying... these are the least invasive micro transactions, with items you can easily get in-game, nothing exclusive, nothing overpowered. They were still unnecessary, but I absolutely do make a difference between these, and other games where you can get exclusive items via rl money, and the shop items cost 20, 50, 100 dollars each. THAT is greedy. The way DD2 does it, is just a little thing on the side for people who want a couple of item early.
Ive gotta play Beastren as my main because they are cool but also want to make my irl Dog as my main pawn so its double Beastren for me, when i eventually play Edit for grammar
Is there a reason why you're hording the golden beetles? I've seen other youtbers as well hold onto them, but other than holding one for the sphinx, not sure why to keep them and not use them right away.

One of the elves quests is straight up, a lord of the rings reference.
Really liked the Elven area I saw in your playthrough : beautiful, with a natural style, while not being too fancy either.
yea it was great! Game has a grounded nature to it which is nice. Low fantasy for the win.
