how is it holding up?
I don't care about smartphone cameras at all, but I do care about having a device that I can use one-handed - and that's exactly what the flip 5 delivers. It's so nice to be able to select deezer playlists, or change the youtube video (yes I'm using youtube on my flip for music playlists) or have a look at my quick notes, all with just one hand while the other hand is busy with carrying stuff or holding a handle in the bus or train. For me that's incredibly useful.

Just got this a few days ago and I'm in love. It's the first phone to really impress me since the Note 9
I am going to buy (preorder) this device in the next few days. I've watched almost every z Flip 5 video. This is by far the best review I have seen. I've had every z Flip phone. 1, 2, 3, & 4 a d it used to bug me you could not change the aspect ratio on the (now small) outside display. You are the only video that explains that the z Flip 5 now supports changing the aspect ratio of the Outer Display when recording video. Thank you very much for that very minor detail to some but it is the game changer for me. Just that little improvement is why I am going to purchase this z Flip 5. I sold all my other ones due to various reasons.... Camera, battery life and well... the outside display. You see the outside display was basically pointless now when you see this thing! Anyways, great video, great content, phenomenal review. I'm now subscribed to your channel. Keep on showing the minor details of these devices. It might just be the difference between a buyer and a passer by or a subscriber and a passer by.

This is my 3rd Flip, as I started with the 3. Samsung's trade-in values in the U.S. have made upgrading each and every year an absolute no-brainer for me. Reserving the day of launch allowed me to get the 512GB version for only $49, with the trade-in of my Flip 4. If you consider the additional freebies they offer, you could say the literally pay me to upgrade each year. I always go with the unlocked version.

I'm a super heavy user, and while I am not a fan of the battery life I dont find that it is something that will make me hate this phone. Thought Ive only had it for a week.

Good review. The sheer convenience of the Flip 5 out-ways any potential issues. If Good Lock (Galaxy Store) is available in India it enables all apps to run on the cover screen, as well as lots of other functionality.
I just like that it reduces in length, it's space friendly so I'm getting it and gives me a good quality camera. 😊

got mine yesterday... not samsung fan to say first but this phone is really awesome and i ma not buying the regular bus door sized ever again. this thing is small and compact built so no way i miss the huge size of regular phone
If anyone conserned about the durability. I recommend watch moto razer vs f zlip 5 test.. believe me.. this thing literally goes 4 days straight folding and unfolding without stopping.. nd still not dies . Insanely durable

Just got my phone and it's amazing 😊
I just got one, traded in my S22 Ultra, found that I never used the pen and most of the other bells and whistles, plus the smaller form factor was appealing. Absolutely love it. The ONLY thing I miss is the DEX, I used to use my Ultra connected to usb C to run the DEX desktop mode to a monitor or TV from time to time, now it just mirrors the screen. Not a huge deal but haven't missed anything else. I still haven't quite figured out the proper "flip" motion to pop it open with just my thumb, but I'll probably get there with some more practice. Great review. The only other thing I will mention is with Good Lock you can use their launcher which allows you to put ANY app on the cover screen, not just the ones that Samsung tweaked for it. Haven't had any issues.
I currently have the samsung galaxy a52 4g and im gonna upgrade to this beutifull new phone as soon as i can, but for now im not even close to having enough money for this premium device

Hello Mr Karan, I liked the 8 points... Can you nake a comparison video between Razr 40 ultra and the Flip 5? Or can you suggest which one would be a better prospect?
Samsung One UI will alone gives it an edge from all their flip peers. Additionally their hardware premiums feels so good..
I just got the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and I am totally satisfied with that and also being a bit older than Flip 5 it still has far better features than Flip 5. I never got a chance to experience the Flip 5 but as comparing to Flip 4 its far better than that. it has 6.9 display with 144hz and also bigger screen than flip 5 and the best thing is that you can use all the apps on the external display unlike flip 5 also camera is far far better and battery is slightly bigger. Only thing I love about Samsung flip is that it has flat edges which feels better in hand unlike the moto's rounded edges aprt from that totally satisfied with Moto Razr

@@vishvjeetcheema I got the Razr 40 Ultra and had the opposite experience. The software is buggy, the build quality is inferior, and the worst thing is the cellular radio is inferior to my flip 4, so I ended up going back to the flip 4. Looking forward to my Flip 5 arriving soon.
For people trying Moto Flip, check the hinge test going on. Moto broke after 126,000 hinge flips. Samsung Flip is going strong post 200,000+ flips as of now.
I Will say im getting a flip coming from an S21 Ultra and i definitely wanted this for a newer phone, cover screen, something different and yes That WOW factor from the standard phones. I still wow my friends with my s21 ultra. i can imagine what this will do

Great video breaking it down. While I like the smaller form factor when folded, I just don't think it's for me. I'd end up opening and closing the phone 15x a day, and that would defeat the purpose of having a foldable.
It's rated to be able to be opened 100 times a day for 5 years before that is supposed to matter. That's what they say...
I've had my lavender flip 5 for about 1 week now I love it would have been neat if we could do our video chats on the lock screen other than that I still love it

My flip 4 screen goes bad unresponsive in 2 month o use . After few month sent it to Samsung. They replaced it under warranty, but I never used it after that. Now bought flip 5 with Samsung care . Hoping to use it for 2 years .

Nothing you’ve ever experienced? Ah, you people who didn’t experience the 90’s/2000’s. Flip phones were the norm, then they ALL switched to ‘candy bar’ style phones, and the world was left heartbroken.
I own the Flip4, upgrading now to the Flip5 but durability in not that good. I dropped the flip 4 from pocket height and it got dislodged from the hinge on one side and the screen got slightly peeled off.. But Ive upgraded because I love the form factor..

You can download good lock and that enables you to add whatever apps you want on the cover screen

Yes it does. If I didn't have a way to use all my apps on that front screen, I probably wouldn't have bought the phone.
When is the Flip 6 launching? Hmmm I have a Note 20 Ultra, and ready to get something new in the USA. Should I wait? Really not interested in the s23 Ultra, seems bland and too big. The telephoto lens should be standard for ANY "Flagship" category phone too, SHAME. The crazy super zoom feature I barely used on my Note 20 Ultra, so I can live without it.

Believe it or not,I would.
Over time, I've started to value smaller phones over wide and heavy phones.
Also, the marginally better camera is not a big deal for me as I'm really not someone who takes alot of photos.

@@YankeesGiants Theres a guy on youtube that has done the review regarding video and camera. it seems there is a small difference. if you take a beautiful photos 90% of the time if your posting or sharing, slight edit apps can make it look even better than any phone camera. But since the phone is still consider "Flagship" spec the camera has to be better than any other cheaper phone technically.
