I've been an iPhone user for the past 15 years. Just yesterday, I purchased my Flip 5 and boy this video was so helpful. Transition is really hard. 😅😅😅

I’m totally getting this iPhone I love the vivid bold color and the dark contrast of colors. The screen can get bright without having to have your screen brightness turned to maximum brightness as I have to do with my iPhone

you can use goodlock so long press power button can do more things, like open any app, be a back button, flashlight, read notifications and more
edit: pretty sure its in registar, which is in the life up category of goodlock

one suggestion about the apps (on your last tips).
you might want to show that it is possible to group the apps in to different folders. so that you won't see so many apps.. and I find it more organised 😊

There was a great idea developing with Dell inc. I had a windows 10 phone and loved Kortana thought it would become part of the HALO games but they just trashed my dreams that was a pain in my a**
syched up for nothing. Kortana was the best AI but they just threw her, in the garbage.

cute in samsung are the shooting methods under the camera settings. I love the "show palm" to take selfie pictures. A lot of my samsung user friends did not know this so I gave them the tips... using palm, saying smile/shoot/cheese to take selfie pictures.
What is show palm
@@JulieloopsJAM you can take selfie by just showing your palm or say the words smile, shoot, etc. no need to click on that circle or the volume. this is one of the setting options. this really makes taking selfies very easy.

Thanks for informative video! Cover screen is not below about phone in the settings. Not sure how mine should be different (factory, unlocked). Also, initially during data transfer there was a % completion listing in the notifications now it just says "USB for file transfer" while my old phone still says "Transferring". Hope it's still doing its thing!

Is there a way to get other apps to be full screen when the phone is open? When i look at full screen apps in settings only netflix and peacock show up. Am looking for youtube mostly to take up the full screen horizontally without being zoomed in and cutting things off.

You can also put all of your downloaded apps on your cover screen- not just the ones samsung has installed.

I use good lock launcher on my cover screen I can play games do pretty much everything on the cover screen
How do you change app icons to material you look?
How do you rearrange the quick buttons from the pull down on the cover screen? I'd like to have easy access to my Do Not Disturb button

I have a question I haven't been able to find an answer to, how do you Close an app on the Cover Screen ? I think I have but later when I open the phone I find it isn't closed.
Great phone so far. Can you have phone open with navigation . Is there a way to close phone ND have it automatically go to front of phone while closed .
Unfortunately the default behaviour when closing the screen is to lock the phone.

my current phone isnt a flip. if i setup my phone using smart switch, will that take care of most settings? or will smart switch have an issue applying my current settings to a flip phone?
Switched from S21 to Flip 5 with no issues at all. There will be a new category under settings to set up the cover screen.

I have a question. Issit true that Samsung remove the 'finger sensor gestures' in the motions & gestures settings? 😢 This feature is soo useful tho in the Flip4 😢
It's a different type of fiber sensor this year so we no longer have that option. You can Download registar in good luck. Select back tap action. Select double or triple tap however many times you wanna tap. Select show notifications. This allows it so when you double/triple tap the back of your phone it will pull down notification screen

Turn off the haptic response and turn On touch sound instead. Haptic motor sucks
I think more coverage for what can be done with phone folded would be useful. Can we check email? Do we get email notifications when phone is folded? Can there be separation of notification between text messages and email?

I just got it. It's a cool phone but it doesn't come close to the s23 ultra as fat as video and sound(music and movies)
Does anyone know if the Z flip has the same multi-brightness flashlight app the S23 does?
Also, how do the cameras compare? Specifically I was extremely impressed with the low-light capability of the S23 "selfie" cam. I was able to take a (video in this case) of a fully readable TV model number at work when my flash was not working due to low battery. S23 has really impressive low-light capability on that selfie cam...much more than the S22. Does the Flip 5 continue that?
By-the-way...three things the Flip5 has that the Razr does not:
5G mmwave. Important in a big city
Decent Bluetooth codecs like AptX. Sure Samsung skips the HD versions but at least they have the original. I don't believe Motorola has anything more than SBC.
And of course Gen 2 vs. Gen 1 processor
It does have multi brightness capabilities

these are great tips, thanks so much but why did u have to rush through it so fast? I constantly had to pause, rewind and check myself. If you were a bit slower i could have kept up and done it with you. Remember the majority of people watching instruction videos dont have your expertise!
