Rotisserie chickens are the best..so good. In my 360 it would smoke for about 20-30 minutes until the fat burned off. Just open/crack the door for a bit and the smoke dissipates…no other meat smokes except chicken.

I purchased a Ronco Rotisserie a few years ago. It is sitting away back in the kitchen cubbard. We have been going to Sam's Club and getting a nice roasted chicken complete for under $ 5.00. You can't beat a deal like that. The seasoning I used when I was using my rotisserie was "Slap Ya Mamma". That is some good seasoning. This French Door Air Fryere looks light weight. I like this unit, however, not sure about (2) things. What is with the steam and/or smoke that comes out of the corners of the 360 French Doors while cooking? Also.. that part with the Rotisserie Spit Connection on the left side,... appears as if it is broken or not a well-built part for this unit.... not pleased with this for $360, but will keep it for the other benefits. Before cooking, remove the legs and thighs and the wings and cook them separate or take the backbone out of the chicken (save it to make stock), now the chicken will compress tighter when trussing it.
You did a very good job of roasting that chicken, however, they make this look so easy. First of all I am not strong as you and I would not be able to handle the chicken and trying to pur that roaster rod through the meat didn't look that easy. So, over all on a scale of 1-10 I give that part a 3. Plus, its not worth the price.
I didn't use the fetch tool when I did my first chicken last weekend. I just used my hands and it was still just as hard to get that rod in the right place. My chicken turned out beautiful but it was a very messy process for me anyways. Maybe practice would help my technique.

I bought this machine. I think it sucks. It is a lot smaller then what it looked like on the T.V. The chicken was hitting the burner on the bottom. For some reason my burner is a zig-zag. Not only a straight burner on the side of the inside. Now lets talk about the air fryer what are you cooking for one. I think this machine is a rip off. Will be returning this trash. Also when you did the rotisserie the the machine is about to break off the wall you acted like it was no big deal. Once it breaks the whole machine is a paper weight. Way to much money for TRASH. Now I get to go though all the trouble to return it.
I am going to try your instructions next time but I am very disappointed with Emeril. He should have included this information in the instructions. I tried to cook a rotisserie chicken that weighs 4.4 lb and it kept pulling out the rotisserie rods out of the socket. The bird was rolling across the burners. I had to put the chicken in the oven to cook it. I bought this because of the rotisserie feature and I am truly disappointed
Too time-consuming. Buy the grocer's already-cooked bird (unless you need something just cooked). Then warm up the already-cooked bird in Lagasse's oven.
