I've had this about 6 months. I have mine on a large bamboo cutting board so I can pull it out from the wall and under the cabinets. It does not throw much heat but better safe than sorry.
I've baked, grilled, proofed, toasted, air fried and rotisseried. It's been lovely. I find if I wipe the elements off after it cools, I don't get smoke.
The french door is not a tight fit, but it's better than my toaster oven and regular oven.
It's not perfect but I really like it.
I just bought this one for $150. I found a heat protection mat on Amazon, that huge. It's big enough to have extra room to the side and all around to protect the countertop. It protects up to 480° F, so plenty protection for any cooking.

@@Jeffreviews4u I haven't even opened the box but now I'm thinking about returning it after reading the comments that the grill pan doesn't come with it. Many people said, when you buy at retail the grill pan isn't in it? 🤷

17:07 the only reason I purchased THIS air fryer is because the temperature goes down to 80 degrees; I can oroof dough in it and I can make yogurt in it. The rest will be a learning curve. Thanks so much for the video!

This is the best thing since sliced bread! I ditched my air fryer and toaster oven. I have used it for the rotisserie chicken, air frying, grilling, toasting, and baking. Everything came out perfect. I had no problems when using the rotisserie. The doors on mine close completely. A+ for this appliance. I would say, it is large and needs a good-sized countertop. Fortunately, I do have the space. v
If it's like my Kalorik French Door, it vents hot air out the back. I have mine on a cart away from the cabinets to cut down on potential damage to the cabinets over time

How do you stop the paper from flying around on “airfare” mode
Being a single women who likes to cook wholesome meals like grilling fish, baking, rotisserie, stewing etc, as well as easy clean up and space savers, I mainly use toaster broiler ovens. However, throughout the years I've purchased at least 4. I currently have a Hamilton Beach large capacity with rotisserie, only problem as with the others, can't keep clean and rotisserie never work right, plus for some reason, the door hangs down when its open, yezz!
Being familiar with Chef Emile's cookware and love his cooking jazz show. I was excited to learn about his French Door multi-facet Air fryer.
Searching for the ideal baking gadget, I was very impressed with the french doors, how it looks and that it seems to do everything I desire and more! Actually, I was planning to get one to take me into the future!!!
I appreciate your review, very though, informative and like that you pointed out the flaws, seems like nothing is perfect. Although it seems to be the best one right now the two issues you pointed out, the doors & smell makes me think twice, actually according to reviews on othe air fryers most of them have that first odor or something problem.
I thought high tech, quality merchandise are tested under strict guidelines and such issues would have been noticable to them!
Perhaps, like cars, with enough reviews if I wait until next year, they'll get the kinks out and make improvements, I suspect they'll make more hi-tech up-grades along with a higher price.
If it is the best in its class maybe I should get it now.
Can anyone tell me if the odor smells strong & toxic and if it's unbearable,?

I'm sure it smells pretty bad as Jeff said during the review. If you wanted to risk dealing with it and have the space in your kitchen for this kind of appliance, then maybe do the initial de-smoking with all windows open. Otherwise maybe buy a used one to skip having to do that part!
The stinky smell is only one time when you get it home and unbox it! You have to run it, to cook off all of the chemicals used in the manufacturing process. You just have to deal with it once for about 15 min. But if you have an outlet in your patio like many of us do, you could just do the one time burn off outdoors if the smell is a real problem for you?!!?

The doors on my Emeril Lagasse French Door Airfryer 360 open and close perfectly. I noticed some heat escapes from the sides of the doors, but the doors themselves stay shut.
Just got one of these for $100 from Kohls (price after 35% off store coupon and got almost $40 in Kohls funny money thrown in for buying it). so far so good.

Steve, I just bought one last night from Kohl's for a really reduced price too, but did yours come with a grill pan? Many people in comments said the retail one doesn't come with a grill pan and you have to order it separately. I don't even feel like opening the big box. If that's the case, I'm just going to take it back.

$139 from Amazon in early November. The price was right and it’s nicer than the loud panhandle ones.
You should always clean the oils off manually with paper towels before heating it up. So you don't make toxic fumes or bake those chemicals into the air fryer.
Left a message today. Thank you again for your video. Cancelled my order for the 360. Saved miles of miserable returns and costs. All for what you pointed out regarding NOT PUTTING IT UNDER THE CABINETS AND THE CORD issues..TY again M. Scott

I just bought one of these - but.....I got it on Prime Day so only paid $189 plus tax. I haven't gotten into it yet - but I'm easily pleased as my other airfryer didn't toast -- this one does. Going to do some breaded shrimp and fries for dinner tonight.
Does it cook airfryer items as quickly as a true airfryer?
I hope this product delivers because I just bought it and it’s still sitting in the box in my kitchen so I like these quick tutorials because I did buy a pampered chef air fryer back in 2020 and used it but it did not deliver the way they said it would so when I moved I left it was the new people.

I purchased one about a week ago and so far the only items we have cooked are bagels, toast and chicken wings. Wish I would have watched this first. Where we have it isn't 5" top and back. Its more like 2" top and 1" back. Haven't noticed any problem. Not sure if we have a place as our kitchen is small.

Thank you I just got mine. I had the first emiril 360 ..I noticed the select mode blinks when cooking and stops when opened..I thought something was wrong..then saw it on yours it didn’t mention that in manual…okay so when do I adjust airfry fan speed…? I thought for bake like bread you wouldn’t put air fry fan on or do you? I have a potato baking wrapped in foil so I turned fan off. Have a lot to learn. Glad you’re here…😘

I'm concerned that I was NOT TOLD that it could not use this 360 under the cabinets. I do not have any cabinet space that allows the space needed. This happened when I was ordering.. The person that assisted with my order mentioned something about NOT JOINING a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT?? It started smoking in the back of my mind, so started looking around for the reason that it was mentioned..talk about shocked!!! Well..here I am viewing your in boxing video. While you were detailing the assembly or use rules.. I heard " do not use under the cabinets" and that there had to be an electrical outlet not further away than 30 inches.. According to your video I can't use this 360 anywhere in my kitchen. I was told it would be delivered within 8 days which has not happened. Thank you for your video!! It's well appreciated...too bad I hadn't seen it before ordering. I will keep you close for further issues and will definately recommend you to friends and family.

Just get a metal shelf from lowes or depot and put it on that
I have mine on a baker’s rack works great. My doors close tight. So far I’m happy with it. I have only had it for a week
Not trying to be funny but common sense is the reason you can't use it under cabinets because it gets hot

Doors slam shut on you if you don't open all the way... still trying to get used to which trays to use for different things.

Always use the lesser time in a recipe. Ex: cook 25-30 minutes. Choose 25. You can always cook for the longer Tim if it’s not done but can’t change if it’s burned. 😊
I agree. I tend to find that air fryers use less time than a traditional oven.

Thanks for your thorough assessment of the dimensions and length of cord. This is already a deal breaker for me. The oy place I could put this to plug into the wall would be under my cabinets.
Oh we didn't get a grill pan. Had order it. But it was on sale at Sams for $139.99 and the pan was $25.
How do you turn it on??? My knobs turn blue. And the start/pause turns red and blue.
I have DUAL ZONE AIRFRYER OVEN.
Mine did not smoke or smell at all when I did the burn off for 5 min at 400. Great machine.
Getting water or debris on the heating element will cause smoking, so keep it clean
I really like that he gives a free " grill pan baking pan and spit and forks with this". Don't all air fryer ovens come with this? This oven looks and sounds like the Kaloric oven and it cost 100.00 cheaper and comes with all his free upgrades included..

I have had the 360 now for a couple of months and it works great, but the baking pan has gotten, in a short time, needing a Easy-Off oven cleaning; I'm sure because it is not non-stick. I'd like to purchase replacement/upgrade pans that are non-stick. I haven't found a 3rd party pan set yet that would fit the slots designated for each baking function. If anyone has, please post.

What is the size/dimensions of this unit? Is it bigger than the air fryer 360 XL?
It is 15” wide, 14” tall and 14” deep
Note the newer models do not come with the grill plate or handle. They have to bought separately.
I thought airfryers cooked a lot faster than the standard oven times?? This seems like a large toaster oven/convection oven, not an airfryer???
The extension cord is my only complaint so far! Glad I have a proper kitchen but it would be important for Emeril to make the extension cord to at least 2 ft please. Haven’t used it just yet, but stole this because I caught a flash sale and had a $50 credit with Amazon. And the first initial burning off the oil . Doing that now. 🤞

Good video! You covered pretty much everything, I use a ninja foodie 9in1 which opens from that top but I kinda like the style of that one opening from the front. Keep going with the good quality videos!

Does the bottom get hot? Do you have to worry about your countertop?
Between this and the ninja foodi 10-in-1 xl air fryer oven, which do you prefer and why? I have that and the instant vortex pro. I love the vortex pro but it’s just not big enough for our family. I like the ninja but it doesn’t have rotisserie features and it’s hard to clean. Thanks for your insight!

Hi. Could you test the toasting feature. do 2 slices of white bread on the 2, 2 setting, and then immediately the 4,2. On another review site, the second round of toast didn't toast, even though it was on the higher setting.

I got my new emiril from kohls..it’s on sale right now for $211 .. Amazon and sams $300. 🥲so I lucked out…it came with the grill pan,bake pan drip pan,roast rack basket and rotisserie spit thing..I also had a kohls coupon. This turned out to $197 ..yay…look it up before it ends. The accessories from my 360 fit this one..yay..
Emeril lagasse saw the success of the kaloric french door air fryer and wanted to get some of that market. But is it better than the Kaloric air fryer ?
Better than the original kalorik (the one I have) they've since upgraded a few features which makes the two units comparable.

I got one about 4 months ago..was great til the French door mechanism that holds the doors open crapped out..and of course it's now out of the 90day warranty..Anyone have a fix for the doors❓..its like a spring inside disengaged..but it sure..isn't easy to use now..the same thing happened to my friends.. now I see many similar complaints on YT also

Maybe the cable de-soldered from heating element. That happened with one of my toaster ovens.
I purchase the Oscar French door it looks like a five-in-one or something like that it was same kind of door the Gap in The middle's epic I just hate the times for frying it's just absolutely ridiculous get just deep fried chicken tender for this one sounds better Oscar was 279 a lot cheaper I'm blind so I prefer in with a dial instead of but this one is so much more worth it as it can chicken rotisserie and all of the attachments it's worth the money
I mistakenly tossed the spit for, griddle handle. How do I replace it. I purchased one on amazon and it was three inches shorter. I have 26 quart

I have the first generation Kalorik, so the dehydrating feature is pretty much nonexistent. Other than that they seem similar. The 360 feels heavier and more sturdy.

All those kind of ovens are always to small. The ones with rotisserie are always to small too. That cannot do over a three pound chicken. French doors let heat out.
What temp did you run it at to burn off the chemicals from the factory?
I had it at 500°F for 20 minutes. Happy cooking! 😊 👍

Mine didn't come with the grill plate so I called customer service and ordered one. They took the money from my account and I've yet to receive it. It's been over a month now. It says it's on back order. They should never have charged me until it was ready to ship and now the customer service phone just has a busy signal. 😡

Dehydrate feature can be set to 100°F for 36 hours. I'm not sure if it matters, but the Dehydrate feature uses the top heating elements. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

Hi, Can you please give me the dimensions of the grill plate? I have an Emerill Lagasse 360 Plus air fryer but it didn’t had a grill plate. I wonder if the grill plate of the French door air fryer will fit the 360 Plus. Emerill’s website only sells grill plates for the French door model. Thank you
There is no customer service at emeril. Even amazon said no one answering the phone and they said they were investigating whether to remove all of the company’s products.

Will it fit a 12" pizza tray?
I'm looking at the Emeril French Door 360 and the Kaloric French Door Aire fryers. Do you compare them on here somewhere?
Is the oven temperature correct? Have you measured the temperature maybe on bake to see if it really 350. ? Thank you. I bought a Ninja oven it cost 240.00. The temperature is fifty degrees off. It’s less than stated in the display. I would not recommend the Ninja oven. The letters came of the panel, it told you what setting you were on. Then the fan quit.
How big is the fan on this one and where is it? How would you clean it?
In my opinion, these air fryers are not entirely efficient. They have to heat up higher than the pre-set temperature in order maintain the cooking temperature. The temperature fluctuates. That being said, I have had good experience cooking with the French Door 360.
My in-laws are in their 90's and want one of these. (They currently have and use a standard air fryer.) How hard are they to clean? They don't seem to clean the one they have very often.
Hi Jeff, I bought one but may return it before I use it, as the rotisserie doesn't seem to be big enough to use for a 3 lb duck or even a normal sixe prime rib, it will touch the lower heating coil that turns red; i tried to turn it on with out anything to see if it rotates but it shows error, so does it have to have food in order to rotate can we turn it on without putting food in it please please help
