I used the steak feature on my EL 360 air fryer. Used the grill pan instead of the wire rack on the steak level. The only thing I'll do different next time is cook for less time. Didn't have the problem with smoke and grease. My regular oven makes the smoke alarm go off when I make steak not so with the air fryer. I'm happy.

Didn't have the problems you did with the steak. Cooked my steak on the wire rack on the #2 position. I did preheat the wire rack. I also used a steak marinade before cooking. 500 degrees F for 8 minutes and it came out medium rare (my favorite), with little or no mess. I caught the drippings on the tray that I placed on the rack just below the steak. You still want to flip the steak halfway through. Hope you have better luck next time. Happy 360 cooking!

Have had a Nuwave cooker for over 8 yrs. and the browning heating element quit and was thinking about replacing it with the 360 but after seeing the review I don't think it will last especially the rotiserie. Cook all my steaks, pork chops, hotdogs, hamburgers, etc in the Nuwave and it does a great job in a lot less time and a lot cheaper in price. Thanks for the review but think I will stay with the Nuwave!!

I like steaks grilled as well however if it's bad weather or you live in an apartment or simply don't have a grill it would be a great alternative. 💕

When I toast in my Emeril oven (not the FR doors oven) I put it on the higher rack, and it toasts well.

Ummm you didn't use the grill pan, and also it has to be on grill. Works perfect that way, and no smoke

It may have taken less time to cook steak on the grill, but, you didn't say the time it took to get the grill ready, and I wouldn't use the grill for 1 steak. I have a charcoal grill and it takes a while to be ready

you can unplug from the wall and start over. I also have 2 DIC tops, one in the garage. I use a probe preset to go off at ~ 150*s, then finish in a cast iron pan 1-2 minutes per side on the DIC in the garage

I've had a number of these type ovens, Wolfgang Puck, nuwave bravo and now Kaloric Maxx. One thing I learned was to never cook steak or bacon in these machines. Too much smoke and way too much mess to clean up.

I will say that when I used to have my little air fryer I would cook a steak inside but it was easy I would just throw the canister in the dishwasher but I didn't like the coating that came off on it and I was concerned about it health issues

  • @ThaMaskRapper

I have to re do my comment sorry I was trying 2 say that that is garbage wen it comes to air fry stuff because my regular air fry that hold 2 lbs of fries will toast bread in like less then 5 minutes honestly and also anything attached to Emeril name is always junk , but that besides tha point for grilling yes and no because it takes forever and also tha time counting down and ur oven still cold? Like what tha heck , u would think if u paid alot of money for something it would be atleast too notch .

Don't know why you don't cook steaks and burgers using the airfryer function. 400 deg at about 12 minutes and it's perfect.

Read the directions. Place the wire rack in the proper position. Then place the baking pan directly underneath the steak. When done correctly, there is minimal smoke. I’ve cooked numerous steaks in this unit with excellent results. Your review was not an accurate depiction of the true performance of this unit. I will not watch your videos in the future.

    Hey 👋 Jeff,
Checked out your #1 Episode, and now this one (#4).
I was FASCINATED 😱with the Grease “Splatter”.
As noted, in my Kalorik it is a NIGHTMARE (to clean 🧼).
Do you have any “Tips” on cleaning? (Dawn? Degreaser?)
Oh, I’m Sorry 😜(I noticed you went over a Cleaning Tutorial [near the End]) - Thanks again Jeff 👍
PS - it is VERY important that everyone would know, that it is much BETTER to clean 🧼 this thing (when it’s Hot 🔥, as you Rightly noted, Jeff) - Cause if you let any Grease to Sit (or set) then it is gets VERY hard to clean (Later)
    My 2 Cents 🪙
