The XC70 lands right between the A4 and A6 Allroads for length and width, and is a tad taller. It's not "as" lux as the Audi, but it can be had at a pretty high level of spec. Also, the Volvo seats can't be topped for comfort. I'd prefer the wagon version of any of them, but - in the US we have only the A4 Allroad and the XC70. no Avants any more, and no v70. If you want a true high end wagon you're left with BMW 3 or 5 touring, or an E-series, OR a Cadillac.
Alright, here's a comment on the car for a change. It's just an A6 with a little more ground clearance and a bigger price tag. Yes, it looks sexy and is more desirable than the standard model, but mainly because of some design tweaks which makes it look bulkier. It's no more practical than a regular A6 really, and you're better off with a Q5 for light offroading, while both are cheaper (well, less expensive) options. That said... I still want one.
These higher end Audis have always been very attractive and enjoyable to drive etc but they are desperately complex and not especially reliable (electrical systems) after a few years which makes them very tricky and rather expensive to hang on to once they've got a few miles/kilometres under the bonnet. However I guess you'd know that when choosing such a vehicle.
I've been watching Mat's reviews since always and i always appreciated his good language, overall culture and behaviour. This practical and free-like tests from just normal owner seat. But now it's likely lost because he's not reviewing so often and shares it with Rebecca. I like her reviews but that's not the same. I've got small feeling that she wants to be mat-like and isn't showing something more individual as another reviewer should in my opinion.
I don't do 'off-roading' by intent, but living, as we do, in Cambridgeshire, where the roads are a byword in their appalling levels of conditions, a car like this is not a luxury, but a must-have. Only the air suspension set up in our E Class estate can cope with them, but our weekend car, an AMG SLK, feels like riding a church pew down a set of widely-spaced stone steps, and is nowhere near as much fun as even that suggests. So I guess that this might be our next car, much as it pains me to admit, with the E Class All-terrain weighing it at around ten k more for a similar model, there really is no option....
A far more better review than the last Audi review because Rebecca is much more objective. Now put a bit more personality in your reviews without loosing the facts. Chris Harris is pretty good at doing this.
How the hell am I suposed to concentrate to the review ??? She's too damn pretty and hot !!!! A hot woman who likes and knows things anout cars....what else can a man ask ??? PLease Marry me :-D
Don't forget that without audi's rally cars subaru wouldn't exist(well atleast 4 wheel drive versions) don't get me wrong im a big subaru fan but the audi's interior is a whole lot better than the subaru's and the subaru's engines can sometimes be rough however i do agree with your statement:)
It doesn't say the make and model, it says AUDI UK, and the post code. All UK number plates do have to have the postcode of the number plate supplier on them.
I think overall the Volvo XC70 is better value. The Audi A6 Allroad has a base price of £43,150 thats before, you start to look at the option list...However the Volvo, has a base price of £36,820. Even with every single available option ( Auto trans, met paint, sunroof, front/rear heated seats, digital radio, keyless go, load compensating suspension, the lot..) the price of the Volvo is pushed up to £48,765. You buy the Audi for the badge. Don't get me wrong, the Audi is still a really nice car.
Buy a high mileage one. I bought a 2002 A3 1.8 T (basically a luxurious golf GTI) with 106000 miles on it. 10,000 miles later it runs perfect. Cost me £1400.
Yep, well, at least I can fix stuff made in the 'stone age' with ordinary tools. Try and replace anything more complex than a spark plug or a brake disc on a 2015 car and you'll need a degree in Electronics Engineering.
Wonbo Shim no, is not an itch, looks like she is stretching (she loves to do sports, she is pushing her elbow with her other arm for better reach of that itch if ever happens lol😂)
I hadn´t noticed before. Do license plates in the UK have to carry the make and model of the car? Can´t quite see it but seems so, in that smallish lettering at 0:52, between the number 2 and "press Office".
I had a Volvo an an Audi and I will never agree with anyone who tells me an Audi has better built quality or a more comfortable interior, the only thing Audi has over Volvo is a more sporty uncomfortable driving and more nerdy gadgets, but what I paid for Audi's spares makes me a Volvo Driver even more
Great car, I just hate those wood/carey trim insertions... I hate wood or carey in a car interior, no matter what car it is. I would change it for brushed metal, carbon fiber or carbon slates trim insertions.
I love Volvo but comparing the xc with theballroad model on diet roads and you will see that the 4wd system of Audi works way better. I got stuck with an Volvo xc and than same track with an Audi and 4wd not at all.
I just watched this review and realised I was day-dreaming about scenario's in which I might meet the lovely presenter, get married and live happily ever after. Ahh. She is so gorgeous. So having tipped a bucket of cold water over myself, I shall now watch again and try and pay attention!
My dad drives an A6 Avant and i really don't see the purpose of this. Its extra money, and really no ones going to do anything more than drive over a bit of grass which a normal A6 is perfectly capable off. I just don't see the point although it looks really good.
+MrStitty26 We're looking for a content marketing executive to work across the Carbuyer and Auto Express brands right now. It's an office (non-roadtest) job, and it's based in central London, but if you're interested in the industry then apply for this as soon as possible: www.denniscareers.co.uk/Description/Social_Media_and_Marketing_Executive_%E2%80%93_Auto_Express_and_CarBuyer/50
IDK what it is about Audis, they just look so good. Even the old ones still look modern and fresh.
Elegant yet striking.
The best two things in the world is in one video
you mean the car and evian bottle water :)
That is fukin hot...the car is ok
These LED headlights are the best looking part of the car
Audi...please, please, please bring the A6 allroad back the US market.
James P. Burgett they will. But they will make it worse. Just like most us cars
I'm totally in love with this car

We are here for to see the review they want to help us when we need to decide to buy a car.
Respect for Rebecca and Matt!
I don't know what's cuter..., the A6 or the presenter...
+Mario Velasco C. The presenter of course!
A6

I really don:t mind watching her taking a nap.
This girl is pretty and fast :D
Awesome car! Much better looking than the older ones, I wish these were sold in America
My neighbour has one of these. Only real use of it is when you park at tight spots and don't have to worry about damage from bumping other cars.
These higher end Audis have always been very attractive and enjoyable to drive etc but they are desperately complex and not especially reliable (electrical systems) after a few years which makes them very tricky and rather expensive to hang on to once they've got a few miles/kilometres under the bonnet. This is the best car review around. Both on tv and the internet. The hosts are brilliant too! :)
I prefer this presentation style of these over the current form
I'm not sure who I enjoy watching more, Rebecca or the Audi. :)
Also not being able to select low gearing or high gearing.
Should have that you can also choose between 2/4wd, thank you for adding that
Wish we still got the A6 allroad, now we are just getting a a4 allroad.
I've been watching Mat's reviews since always and i always appreciated his good language, overall culture and behaviour. This practical and free-like tests from just normal owner seat. Rebecca,
How tall are you?
Thanks for sharing this footage.

Carbuyer knows exactly why we watch their videos when shes around
A far more better review than the last Audi review because Rebecca is much more objective. Now put a bit more personality in your reviews without loosing the facts. Chris Harris is pretty good at doing this.
I love the fact that it has 'wather good gwip wevels'. On the strength of that, I bought one.
Awesome car, my dad had older model of these fantastic car for winter snow/mud country lanes no issue, otherwise the ride quality is limo standard
I like Audi's because of their style, interior and build quality
There was a time when i use to say , ""man i wish ill have a car like that. Now its i just want a wife like her!
She's so cute. Really liked her review
I DAMN YOU WHOEVER CUT THE VIDEO AT 1:30 LOL
It doesn't get any hotter than that...the car i mean!
That is such a beautiful and practical car comfortable to use daily. Why just the A4 Allroad for the US again?
Wat ben ik blij dat ik een donkerbruine heb met het stuur aan de linkerkant. Rijdt veel lekkerder. Voor de rest een geweldig test.
the seats do not fold flat though, for shagging space, but those back seats are padded ;-)
What is the interior called
This car is Magnificent, but she is outrageously Beautiful.
So petite and cute A6 estate
Question. Top spec diesel 313 bhp does it have the same gearbox or it has the 8 speed wich you can find in the touareg?
На 313 утанавливается ZF8HP
На Touareg устанавливали айсин
hey, thats your best review IMHO. Really enjoyed watching it. Thanks
How the hell am I suposed to concentrate to the review ??? She's too damn pretty and hot !!!! A hot woman who likes and knows things anout cars....what else can a man ask ??? PLease Marry me :-D
I want BOTH of them!!
@rockysi in the UK you can buy an A4 allroad and an A6 allroad the one in the video is the A6.
I honestly do believe that this A6 Allroad is the perfect car.
Is that a carphone @ 2:01??? Do they still make those?
sadly no
Love how you say British accent! There are hundreds, most of which you really don't want!
how hard is it to get used to driving from the passenger side when you are over seas if you are not used to it....looks fun though
Love how she says "but I am not going to the university, I have already done that"...
It doesn't say the make and model, it says AUDI UK, and the post code. All UK number plates do have to have the postcode of the number plate supplier on them.

What year is that
I love Audi's but can't really afford one. :\
Buy a high mileage one. I bought a 2002 A3 1.8 T (basically a luxurious golf GTI) with 106000 miles on it. 10,000 miles later it runs perfect. Cost me £1400.
Mai Naim Yeah but who wants an Audi from 2002... He obviously wants a new one. Doogeruoy Sihtdaer Work hard mate, you'll have yourself one some day.
2002 is quite new, but an A3 is rubbish.
SIMcityplayer2002 a3 is in fact the worst car you can buy from audi considering it is just a golf.
Yep, well, at least I can fix stuff made in the 'stone age' with ordinary tools. Try and replace anything more complex than a spark plug or a brake disc on a 2015 car and you'll need a degree in Electronics Engineering.
I take a look a lot of this videos, and i did not saw or hear any single complains for any cars. So they all are best or what?
so in the US we get the a4 allroad and in the uk they get the a6 allroad ?
She is growing on me as a reviewer, compared when I first saw her ( just my opinion).
My dream woman
She has an itch at 0:53
that made me chuckle. how on earth did you spot that! lol
Wonbo Shim no, is not an itch, looks like she is stretching (she loves to do sports, she is pushing her elbow with her other arm for better reach of that itch if ever happens lol😂)
I’d scratch that itch for her 😈
can someone explain fuel economy I dont understand 14miles for galon or something like that :)
I hadn´t noticed before. Do license plates in the UK have to carry the make and model of the car? Can´t quite see it but seems so, in that smallish lettering at 0:52, between the number 2 and "press Office".
Let's throw it down to details: Hard plastics on the lower parts of the dashboard.
Would be nice to get these in Canada, but its ok, I'm fine with our massive Escalades, GL and Q7s.
Freeze at 1:33..you can see the rear end ..beautiful
The Volvo XC70 is due for a serious upgrade, All its gotten over the past 5 years is a refresh. Its still a better value though.
This VW Passat is looking great.
Put an old fart to review this thing so I can actually concentrate on what is being said.
I had a Volvo an an Audi and I will never agree with anyone who tells me an Audi has better built quality or a more comfortable interior, the only thing Audi has over Volvo is a more sporty uncomfortable driving and more nerdy gadgets, but what I paid for Audi's spares makes me a Volvo Driver even more
Amazing car. I wish Audi sold it in the U.S.!
great review.. can u do one on megane rs 250
Great car, I just hate those wood/carey trim insertions... I hate wood or carey in a car interior, no matter what car it is. I would change it for brushed metal, carbon fiber or carbon slates trim insertions.
Audi has the best cars :D
I bought an Audi A3 sports back -13, i can't wait till it comes. :D
I love how rough she always is with the steering wheel adjustment, you tell it whos boss! Rarrrrrr
Lol'd at Rebecca's reflection at 0:53
that boot is humongous !
Want. Dear Audi, please bring this Estate Tdi stateside. please...
The A6 Allroad is actually much better off road then you describe it. Just go to RUclips and type in Audi A6 C4 2.5 TDI Allroad.
What about the R8? You can't possibly find the R8 hideous, It is one of the most beautiful cars to date-ONE OF!!!
I used a reno clio to move to uni I was fine.. I don't need know off road estate.
i'm talking about second hand worth and overall mechanic aspect & stuff .. but nvm ... everyone is free to make their own choice :)
and knows about cars... is amazing
great car, but I if I had to decide between a6 allroad and subaru outback, I'd go with outback I think
Outback is scrap
May I ask why?
Gorgeous!!!
I love Volvo but comparing the xc with theballroad model on diet roads and you will see that the 4wd system of Audi works way better. I got stuck with an Volvo xc and than same track with an Audi and 4wd not at all.

this car sure looks good inside.
Imho best car in the world... really. (maxed out options, and 3l bitdi)
It looks unique. Kinda reminded me of the new Macan.
just a question for all those who disliked the video.. what else do you want in a review other than an amazing car and a cute girl like this ?
Very nice how much
There is only one issue, the steering wheel is at the wrong side....
Otherwise I'll have an Audi A6 Allroad with the girl included.
show how much you love her by buying every car she reviews. O_o
Rebecca is amazing, the car too
I love that car. I want one
My dad drives an A6 Avant and i really don't see the purpose of this. Its extra money, and really no ones going to do anything more than drive over a bit of grass which a normal A6 is perfectly capable off. I just don't see the point although it looks really good.
I love the way she slams, bangs and pokes everything. Nothing gentle about this review.
please, review the Skoda Octavia scout.
This car is extremetely expensive! But looks amazing..
one of the funniest carbuyer videos of all time!!!!!!!!!!sorry matt.....
Thanks for this nice review
God this is a job I would love, if you ever want a wind swept and interesting Scotsman give me a go. lol
