When you have it in reverse and the left mirror selected it dips ,if it doesn't dip enough or you would like to see more you can adjust the view with the switch and it will return to that new position when you go in reverse again .

That hidden drawer is also available on the driver’s side too - loved it a place for my glasses.
Got my first A6 black edition 2.0 Ultra S-line a month now, i am loving every big of it. Sadly it dont have usb connection and I don’t have some mirror functions but definitely am proud of the car; drives magical
The "Hidden cluster Menu" can be pretty useful, if your cluster doesn't work properly. With the "Teilenummer" you can find the same cluster in the Audi ETKA.
The manufactor of your cluster is Bosch.

You missed one very useful feature!: the single door unlock. It’s like one of the best features I like about my A4 which I’m sure translates to this A6. It works more than at name value. When tuned on, if you press the unlock button only the drivers door unlocks, but it goes further than that. Cars with convenience entry unlock only the door to which handle you will have touched. Let’s say the car is locked and you place your hand on the rear left door handle, only that door unlocks, and that works for all doors. To me that’s just amazing! In addition to that, when you pull the door handle from the inside after the car is locked (say after a drive) only that door is unlocked but when turned off, the driver and front passenger doors unlock all doors. So it’s also a security feature.
And what’s the usecase of only having one door unlocked? Do you think someone sneaks into your back door while you are entering the car in the front?
@@davido.9877that was the idea yeah. It was for people getting cars jacked and safety for lonely women getting into their car and preventing people hiding and jumping in the same time she does. Or he.
Either way, every Audi I have owned has this option and I've turned it off cause it gets annoying AF 😂😂😂

Yes i have to agree with you these are lovely cars the A6 is just a superb car in the Le Mans version 2.7 V6 turbo diesel, Leather heated seats goes for fun and the boot space you could live in the boot

just got 2015 black edition in mint condition....manual transmission....pan roof..20 in alloys....May have possibly preferred automatic but it is what it is

I have a 2016 biTdi Allroad 146000Km on the clock, I've had the car for 5 years and I LOVE it - you forgot to tell about the tank flap release in the right rear .. because it will get stuck one day. Only nuisance I have is the sodding radio comes on EVERY time I turn the ignition on. I turn the radio off and and it'll come on again - turn off, then good to go - normal operation.. irritating. any ideas?? now I'm just waiting for the A6 etron to be made as an Allroad, if not - I'll be driving my diesel for a very long time.
Could you eleborate a bit more on the stuck tank flap release, actually ran into it a while ago finanlly fixed after significant amoun of time closing and opening the car😂
My key fob doesn’t roll my windows down/up. How do you enable that feature?

Opening windows from key remote works on A6 C6 too, since it had all electric windows by default.
it is pretty old feature my old a4 b5 from 1995 had it already.
It works on all VAG cars, even Skodas.
I don’t know how to enable that feature. Can you help?

Isn't it enabled by default?
If it's not on, I suspect you got to press CAR button on MMI and then look into settings, there you can choose modes of external lights (like "coming home" time-out duration etc), and, if I remember correctly, there was something about windows too.
Great tips, can you go through setting the height of the dip on the passenger mirror
Put your car in reverse, twist the knob to the passenger side, adjust the mirror to your preferred reversing position and that's it.
When you go back in drive, it should revert to your driving setting.
As long as you leave the mirror knob on the passenger position, when you put the gearbox into reverse, it should go to the reverse position.

Dose it have keyless entry or just keyless ignition?
keyless entry and touch lock on the front door handles
You will probably need to activate the green menu. If you have VCDS then go to module 5F and read channel 06 and enter and save "1" as the new value for the channel 6. The two key option on the MMI should then work for you. some cars disable green screen from the factory
be careful. Don't change anything in the green menu if you don't know exactly what you are doing!

should do. I have a different OBD tool, that can do this. It is also possible to turn the information light off, if that disturbs you.

I have a question on timming belt change.i have same car 2017 model with only 114,000 km,
When I researched it on line I'm getting different answers when to change.i have also contacted to main dealer's and both with different answers 😂, online I'm seeing 210,000 km regardless of age,main dealer 210,000 or 6 years.
What's your thoughts?
I changed it on my A6 2013 at 200,000 km, as specified by the manufacturer. The factory belt is very reliable and can easily withstand 200,000 km
I agree. I have done up to 210000klm on a timing belt with original parts. Don’t use spurious parts please.

That little compartment under the seat is only for cars that don’t have the comfort package with the massage seats, as mine does not have that

5 years I’ve had mine and I always thought the alarm was not very sensitive at all, in fact I thought the siren was knackered.
Turns out whff we n I think I’m deadlocking it I’m turning alarm off, there’s buttons on door panel for this also
Carbon is good for the heart
Don’t forget if you conk out the engine just press the brake and clutch and engine restarts itself. Also windows will open and close for a few minutes after engine is turned off . Wipers will always go home when engine is turned off. If your closing the windows they will continue closing or opening even if key is removed and engine is off.
my 13 A6 doesn't do the window or lock trick for that matter most of them

2nd feature 1:26 exist on my Audi A3 from 2005 so it's def not an A6 exclusive feature.
Auto self lock (nr 4) exists on all Audi or VW cars so again it's not an A6 feature.
Nr 9. I have that glove box vent on my VW GOLF MK5 so another non A6 feature.
Nr 11 under seat compartment exists on both our 2005 A3 and VW GOLF MK5 so again not an A6 feature.
If it is in an A6 then it is an A6 feature, does not mean it is exclusive but it is an A6 feature.
