I love the fact that there is no smoke coming out of that diesel, impressive tune.
More than likely injectors are to small and is actually hurting the engine and probably needs a high stoker pump

Just the sheer silence and comfort in which the Allroad performs at this level, is brilliant. The winner for me today.
Lol Id say u get more comfort in the 100 grand leathered out beautiful seated rs6 by a mile, u also kinda want your fast car to not be silent unless you like electric cars, id say its safe to say most prefer to hear a v8 over silence but i know everyone is different.

@@brucewayne2397 Well hard to beat air susp.Also, not every people are show off and wear ugly beards,that is why SLEEPER cars exist.Dont get me wrong i do like Audi's RS Series ,but they also scream "i can beat lambos".Where as the allroad here is the perfect sleeper,and it still can beat few lambos,which is very impressive to me.
@@randommaniac245 its not a sleeper dude its a sporty diesel and that is all it shows it self to be and it isn't beating any lambo lol!, the 100-200 time was that of a golf r with stage 1.. sorry to break that to you but the video is misleading but note the official 100-200 numbers then check them on draggy like i have against other cars and you will then know the diesel is not very fast and was also slower then the rs6 by 1.3 seconds which is a MASSIVE amount.. the rs6 itself has no chance against lambos that do 100-200 in under 6 seconds vs the 9.7 seconds the diesel did and the 8.4 the rs6 did, the difference between a lambo and these cars 100-200 is enough time to beat it and park up and have a cigarette haha or 2 cigarettes against the all track. So im not quite sure what lambos you are referring to unless its from the 1970's.
@@randommaniac245 that a6 aint beating any lambo, maybe an old gallardo from early 2010's but nothing else.
The gear ratios are the biggest difference. Diesel can’t rev as high either
you dont rly want to rev a diesel too high anyways as the torque drops off.

@@brianr9529 The way the engine type works it makes no sense to tune it to get higher RPMS. You'd need to mod the engine quite a bit for it to be reasonable and you'd still be better off just throwing a huge turbo on it and just spool it to the moon.

that RS6 is very healthy if it's a stock 600HP Performance, running some great times
It's probably remapped to 700hp.
Yeah VAG cars are normally more hp than stated, so I would say it has realistic 620hp (stock) or smth like that
@@jarodxy Not only that but you can easily do some mechanical maintenance that can increase the power output by a lot,, i just don't know how to say that in English, but i own an S4 and it's not even remapped and i had a guy open up something and it went from 340 to 406..
I have a lot more debit from the engine/turbo/injectors.

Results were as expected, the allroad would have to be the car to have. Better fuel consumption, cheaper to run all around, still fast asf....what's not to love. Probably more attainable for us average Joe's aswell 👍👍👍

I have de 245hp one and I'm super satisfied. I would wish to have money to buy the bi-turbo 315hp but 245 still is decent. Best family car and sporty enough 4 highways...

I think a standard RS6 would have been neck and neck most likely, possibly even give it to the A6.
But the fact that the A6 can do it all day before seeing a gas station is amazing. Keeping up with the highest performance model with the most daily model is insane. Its not even an S6! plus the satisfaction of catching people off guard with the sleeper look must never get old. 😆
A tuned diesel is not doing that all day without needing fuel like a petrol. Tuned diesel cars use ALOT of fuel, not to mention the Lower revving engine and gear ratios, they are just not a good platform for speed. The terminal speeds speak volumes.

And yeah they use a lot more fuel than standard, same with anything tuned for power but it's going to be no where close to a 4 litre V8 Bi-turbo petrol engine lol
I swear matey even said it gets like 50mpg on a good day, no way is an RS6 going to get near that figure.
And the fact that diesel is not as favourable for performance as a petrol only makes this result more impressive for the A6.
Given the choice I would still take the RS6 though just on pure sound of the V8 😝
No it doesnt, a 560 hp RS6 does 100-200 in 8,6-8,8 sec. There is no chance that that A6 keeps up with that.
Wow results are as expected but great to see it for sure. The tuned diesel is still epic for a smaller engine, less cylinders and running the devils fuel 😜

Team Petrol all day! Jesus! That A6 Allroad Unicorn performed extremely welL. The 3.0TDI is such a good engine, even more so now its been tuned. As always the RS6P dominated once again. What a weapon! I think a stock RS6 (None Performance) would had the nose just slightly but not by much. Great content once again Jamie. I'd say great race guys, but let's be honest. The cars did the work haha.

New rs6 is heavier and doesnt have more power, it also keeps losing against e63 and m5, so no surprise imo

Yep, if it's indeed 550hp and 1000nm, then the culprit is the gearbox. I'm not familiar with ZF transmissions, but if it's anything like the S-tronic, then a gearbox tune wouldn't hurt...
Would love to see a slightly tuned 4.0/4.2 tdi V8 that matches the performance of this “performance” rs6, I think the playing field would be allot fairer at that point

I own a stock RS6 PE C7 and can confirm the times. Mine does similar (I bought from Audi Dealership, so no mods for sure)
I'd consider that a win for the diesel all things considered.

People hating on this diesel and praising the rs6 🙄, what they have done with that tdi is unreal and 100kg weight difference would probably never win. Much less rpm aswell. If they lost some weight out the tdi and another 30 or 40bhp it would be extremely close.

The Allroad did great considering it was up against an RS6 performance. Some cars produce more than the factory bhp once they’re run in. Would be interesting to see a dyno run incorporated into each showdown before they race

I would get this diesel over the petrol any day. What they have done to the car is very impressive for a stage 3 it wasn't even smoking that much. It did very well on this race and lost as expected.
Down on power up on weight and still able to keep up that is epic and to get hi mpg. Good mpg means more hours of fun and more money in my pocket. Good mpg means i can drive the car more often without sacrificing much speed

As expected tbh, I've had tuned fast diesels and now have an Rs6 2014 model and that blows away any if my 440-550bhp diesels, and yes I have a stock non tuned RS6

In the real world we know the rs6 is quicker just but u can't blast around that fast with all the bloody cameras on UK roads. And the all road looks so stock even the exhaust tips are standard. When are u looking to get the M3 mate. Can't wait to see the new estate version but the roads gonna be amazing
@@chriscringle9263 it really is mate, in comparison mine gets about 40mpg on a decent journey. So double the power and 10 more mpg 🤣. But yes I do love how you can just cruise by without nobody paying to much attention hahaha

@@jokersweet just had a look mate to refresh the memory. I typed “RS6 Carwow” and watched the video where all the Generations competed. The C7 was the Performance package. Interesting video should check it out!
@@redemptionx2918 they say that it was the Performance model, but it simply was not. Because the redline was at 6.500rpm and the real Performance version is at 6.800rpm. Realistically the C7 Performance will be faster than the C8.

Stock Focus ST diesel (182bhp-295 torque) against Focus 1.6 ecoboost stage 1(192bhp-220torque) standing start, first 2 gears it was the diesel and in 3 gear the petrol came past.The owner of the diesel was very surprised.☺

Diesel. For the best mpg and comfort of air suspension and quieter drive. Sure, RS6 have juicy sound, but it will annoy you in long journeys.
