Your test is by far the most complete, detailed and professional test I've seen about the A6. I'm thinking about buying a used one. Luckily the 2L 190 version in Sline you're testing here. You answered all my questions. I will test it tomorrow so thank you a lot for such an interesting review. Congratulations.
@@ro2778 Im looking at the same one, 2.0TDI ultra 190bhp in manual to replace my A3 as ive picked up a Wife, two kids and two dogs since i bought the A3 in 2015. How beefy does the 190 feel in the A6 weight? my A3 is a 170 2.0TDI and im worried the A6 will feel too sluggish by comparison
Great I own a c6 . You know the ones that are much more reliable and much cheaper. It’s my 3rd one . If another low mileage c6 comes up for sale I will buy it and put it in storage until my current one blows up in about 25 years.
The C7 does seem a bit more unreliable than the C6... I was in the market for one but now thinking I may just get a 2010/11 end of line C6 model. My father in law has a C6 2.0TDI with 270,000 miles. Says it all really
@@Nitenman I’ve seen taxis with over 500k on the c6 that says it all . Only thing is they are trying to put older cars off the road because of this net zero bullshit .
I have a 2014 3.0L biturbo. Absolute beast of a car, ridiculously quick, not bad 42mpg on motorway at 76mph. Can be a lunatic car too if you feel like it. Running costs are not so bad, to make it last
Great complete review but not what the title suggests. “A good used buy” I watched this as I am thinking of buying a used one and wanted to know if it was worth considering. Apart from briefly mentioning residuals there was not one mention of whether a used one is worth considering. Please stop using titles just to get more hits and end up in search results that are not relevant.
The Top Model of the TDI-Engines is not the 320 PS Version. The Top Model is the 326 PS Competition with the Tiptronic Gearbox and not the S-Tronic Gearbox. After the 272 PS TDI-Model there are more Engines, than the 320 PS Engine like you said. You can buy the 313 PS Engine, the 320 PS Engine and the Top-Engine with 326 PS Tiptronic and 4 -Wheel drive in the Competition.
The pace of the Audi is too leisurely to be called quick. Uphill runs become power sappingly mundane whilst overtaking National Express coaches becomes a long, drawn-out affair. Not my words, Carol, those are the words of Top Gear Magazine.
Just got my audi a6 avant (2018). It's a wonderful car as far as I can tell so far. P.S. Your review is absolutely magnificent.

Glad it was helpful!
I second that, thank you!

i have a 2.7 tdi le mans, it is great.
I am on my second one, I’ve only had the 2.0 TDI

Very detailed, thanks, I own an Allroad C7 and it is a wondeful car
Enjoyed this. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always praying for you brother !

Definitely had a William Woollard moment at the start.
If you’re old enough you’ll remember.
Which would YOU buy? The audi A6 Allrad or trhe M-B E350 All-terrain?
I have just recently bought a bmw………. I can’t tell you how much I miss my A6!
Hope you enjoy your BMW
Any info about the poorly designed electronic steering system which fails and cost £1000s to fix?
Love it. Looking to buy one :)
Haha when was this filmed? Not 3 months ago when it was uploaded…
Probably 6 years ago or more
why does a front wheel drive have transmission tunnel lol ? ye im not a car guy
Some A6’s are all-wheel drive, so it’s much easier during production to put the tunnel there as standard
It shares the same platform as the 4WD models.
Manual gearbox 2.0l diesel...for reviews you should choose something more enjoyable to drive. 🙈
Actually this is the exact version i’m looking for !
So, for me, it’s a M.A.T.C.H
At least not a 2.0 petrol🤷♂️
