Try to go out over a light bumpy terrain with a standard A6... maybe when you scratch bottom of it enough times, maybe then you will realize, why Allroad makes much more sense, than you previously thought :-) Go with a Land Rover, you might say? Some people want to do some light offroad weekend trips, while still have good handling capabilities on smooth roads. I own an Allroad C5, which I recently bought, because my previous standard A6 C5 (with standard suspension with a ground clearance of about 120mm) couldn't cope well over a light offroad terrain. With Allroad, it's not a problem anymore.
