Si amigo de los king...Freddie es mi rey del blues...es sublime y profundo Freddie...es mi rey del blues...con el y algunos pocos sigo escuchando el blues
This is the Man and the band that just blew the roof off. The intensity. Freddie just oozed talent and soul. Blow the roof off and walk off like yeah thats normal for us.
I bought an LP years ago. I don't know why, the treble was accentuated, the bass said goodbye. Well, so what? I wouldn't trade this record for anything. Freddie, you were the man.
The king of the blues. Got better and better and better and then died. Imagine if he had been alive in the late 80s for the blues resurgence when people like BB and John Lee, Albert Collins etc became popular again.
He did have something of a resurgence at the time of this recording. He was on the cover of a UK guitar magazine around this time so not entirely under the radar.
@@claymor8241 “on the cover of a uk guitar magazine” is hardly a resurgence. John Lee Hooker was playing large arenas as a main act and stadiums as a supporting act in the 80s.
Of all of the Kings, Albert, BB, Freddy, this guy reigns above. With respect.

Freddie King at his best! What a voice, those licks and technique. A great bluesman that sings from his toes. RIP Freddie, thank you for posting this.

Hey, you're right!...Freddie will be more popular than he is in this time...we've got his music and lives on forever.

Who’s the other guitar player?
I think he was Mark Pollack. He played with Freddie in the European Tour around 1975.
If it wasn't for Freddie, Eric Clapton wouldn't have had a career!
You're right, i think the same
Saw him at Crystal Palace Garden Party 75......Stole the show.
