hey man - thanks for putting all these together, you've inspired me to go forward with my build :) couple of questions: 1) you mentioned not going with pressure-treated lumber came back to bite you - do you know of other builds that have lasted longer with it? I'm also looking at e.g. aluminum beams on FB Marketplace where a 20' 2x4 will go for $140. cut that to 16' like a wood one and use the 4' leftover pieces for reinforcements between the inner barrel beams and I feel like for ~$560 you have yourself a 0-water-damage frame you can put whatever you want on. does that make sense? 2) have you considered replacing the 8-way potentiometer switches that control the motors with PWMs? you would save yourself a TON of power (and clean up your wiring as an added bonus!)
