POSITIVE FLOATATION: Look it up. All of the Cuba refugees that made it using rafts and lawn chairs had positive flotation. The boat that boy's mom drowned on didn't. Study positive flotation.
@@ShoreGarage I see where you're going with coupling with two motordrive controls together. If you want to go that route, you can put a bicycle sprocket on both of them and couple them with a chain. You might want to keep them independent, so you could push with one and pull the other for tighter turning. Rod ends will be your friend for coupling the two motor Drives together, this way you can pick one up without both of them at the same time. They will pivot individually from each other. I have a power wheelchair, and I was going to use that for a twin-prop set up on my floating dock. If you ever need help fabricating Parts, let me know! I have a little weld shop in my backyard, and I do MIG stick and TIG. I also specialize in aluminum fabrication
I'm thinking of making one but adding a suspension system between the pontoons and the deck
Man if this is February, where are you from? Cause I'm moving their! Lol been watching your whole boat built, awesome job!
