AYo never disappoints in the creation of floating fishing jumping houses. Norm should always carry either epi pens with him or Benadryl because if it’s this bad it could get worse really quick. I would like to see living off the house boat for 3 days.
It sounds lame but bug nets for sleeping can be a game changer too. Just climb underneath, clear some floor space and roll out your sleeping bag, making sure the net touches the ground.

600k subs isnt nothing to scoff at but this channel is criminally under rated. Youre easily one of the best fishing content youtube channels, the humor and the interesting build ideas are what heep people coming back! Anyone can do a no budget bass pro challenge and such but these videos like this, although probably not cost effective and hard to do, are what we want to see!! Keep it up with these fun builds, the laughs and what others arent doing!

Needs a refurbishment. Some security against the bugs at night. Maybe a portable power unit for your extended stay. Maybe a slightly higher platform to jump from too. The boat looks like theres so many possibilities for additional rooms etc. Cant wait for the next one 😊
The main thing they'd need to do is screw in the plywood with like one screw every 10cm for structural rigidity, and screw the building bottom into the 2x4 planks, because I think they were screwed just in the plywood.
Everything else is just mosquito netting and some lighting.
glad norm's bumps were nothing major. but holy cow guys that thing turned out really neat! i dont know if i'd get any fishing done because i'd be wanting to just jump off over and over all day long!
i would love to see a 3 story POP UP build, using like some boat trailer winches to raise up the upper levels, collapsing like pontoon boat roofs basically. a bit of maths involved but that would be REALLY cool to see

You need to wrap some LED lights around the bottom of the boat for night fishing. Get the ones that change color so u can have lowlight ones when need be and brighter when needed.

I think you need a 8 day trip down the Tennessee River with the Life Barge. You can just cruise slowly and fish all the way to Mobile Bay. Sleep in coves at night. No hotel or marina stays. Just stop for food and fuel. Start in Chattanooga. I think you can make Mobile in 8-10 days.
You guys are awesome, been watching for a couple years now. Keep benadryl in all your vehicles. Incase of allergic reactions can get you by if in bad situations but will stop smaller reactions like Norms. Keep finding Fat Sallies

I think the boat needs waterproof stain and more stable 2x4s added to the wall at angles. Then add points to the front of the barrels so that it goes faster. And make it too where you can actually camp in it 👍👍
(plus a remote cable steer, man tillering that thing back and forth when it's low down like that, all the way from the back where you can't see anything looks like it sucks!)

This was awesome man! I commented awhile ago saying you guys should do a more serious build and am pumped to see it come to fruition!
I am a big fan of the survival challenges you guys do and think y’all could do a more serious version of it (idc if it’s in the backyard or on the 3 story pontoon).
Or give your friend each $100 to buy things that would enhance the pontoon boat during a survival challenge (mosquito netting, fan, mini stove, thermacell, etc).
Just wanted to make a few humble suggestions. Great content!

Shouid have titled the video, "Norms allergic to fishing"
1. Fix that "ladder" to the top level. Add a couple more 2×'s.
2. Add some fishing pole storage on rhe walls, inside & maybe even 2 shelves for tacklebox stuff.
3. Add some grab bars on the outside walls for the walkway.

Fried Mayflies (Inspired by Thai cuisine)Ingredients:
Fresh mayflies
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt, to taste
Optional: a sprinkle of chili powder or garlic powder
Instructions:Rinse the mayflies in clean water to remove any dirt or debris.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the mayflies and fry for about 2-3 minutes until they are crispy.
Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels.
Season with salt and, if desired, sprinkle with chili powder or garlic powder.
Serve as a crunchy snack.

2 ideas:
1. Waterproof led strip lights on the edge of the boat for night fishing (Govee sponsor?)
2. Screens on the windows and doorways to keep the bugs out of the sleeping area
Build some 'breakers' in front of the barrels for a little more speed and lumber railing on the main deck for rigidity and this thing is on point! Loved the video!

I would love to see it again, but, it will need some adjustments made to it to stabilize it and maybe seal the bungs of the barrels so their is less of a chance for a leak. Staple some screen to the windows and maybe one of those screen door covers with the magnets. I agree with the others, an epi pen would be a good thing to keep on hand.
If hives show how much fun you have then I have a blast all the time. I feel for Norm.. one of the last times I went fishing I got stung by a yellow jacket and almost had to use my epi pen.

Need a week long survival with gravy involved.. maybe 4-5 people, catch and cook, bring 2 coolers drinks, and basics like eggs, tortillas.. Incase, that would be epic bro. Heck yah! Have to have at least one catch and cook off that epic mansion! If you could manage two that would be even better. I'd suggest anti bug lighting and some decent sleeping arrangements to make it more tolerable. This one was great, miss Smalls, so hope it could be a fourpack.

Do an add on upgrade build series. Start off with like those air boots, next video add paddles, ubgrade to a flat deck, then a tent, then some walls... yk, i think that could be something. End up with a cool boat down the line

i remember one time when i was a kid, we were driving back home form Kentucky Lake and the Mayflies were swarming, so many of them were hitting the windshield we had to stop several times to clean them off so we could see. Good times!

Buy sheer curtains cheap af, staple them over windows and doors. Get a solar panel for the roof for some better lighting. Run a bug zapper over the water to pull bugs away and chum the waters automatically lol

II don't even like fishing, but you guys are just having so much fun, its fun to watch.
there are many ways to upgrade it. find the leaking drum, repair it. build the walls up better. add extra outboards, get some power run, etc. how far can you push this thing? and once you figure that out, time to build bigger and better, from the ground up, with all you have learned. ibc totes would be a good start, for the next one.
