Gotta shout out the Home Depot employees for doing their jobs in a genuinely courteous way. Most employees and/or managers I’ve seen shutting down a video are incredibly rude, aggressive, and abrasive. But those two folks at the beginning of the video were legitimately just doing their jobs with kindness and understanding. Also helps that Ayo and his gang are all respectful and respectable people. Says a lot when stuff like that is what restores bits of my hope for humanity lol but it just goes to show how far just a little bit of mutual respect and kindness can go.

The foam added inside of the buckets would’ve basically just added extra weight reducing buoyancy. Just spray the bottom of the frame of the boat if anything
Hey ayo at 14:03 there's some orange water coolers in the background. In my experience those are water tight and float quite well. You could have used those as pontoons. I'm not sure of the weight support of an individual one but I bet you could have made it work pretty easily. Great video man love these impromptu off the top of the head challenges.
Filling a air cavity with foam only helps if the air cavity floods by taking up the space the water has to fill. If it remains airtight, the air will provide more buoyancy/floatation than any foam. I'm surprised none of you bought foam board insulation, cut it into shapes and glued it together like a human 3D printer. You could make the hull for like $50, under $100 if you wanna be fancy, and you could spend the rest of the money on a cheap battery drill and batteries for a Home Depot-rigged trolling motor!
If you've watched these guys videos, they are NOT handy or mechanically inclined at all. Ayo is learning as he does these boat projects but I've seen Norm look at a hand saw like an alien object. Love the vids though

And then you could even put up some sides as wel. And with the remaining 350 you buy yourself a pretty nice cordless drill to build that trolling motor. I was actually thinking ayo was going that way when i saw him walk past the milwaukee stuff.

I've ridden in a wheelbarrow boat a lot. for a minute it even had a 2.0ci outboard on it :) Was one of those really huge two wheel wheelbarrows, and I needed to weigh less than 170lbs to drive it safely.

I would have told Home Depot management, "We're here to spend $1500. There are 3 of us. We make videos for RUclips. It's important for us to record. Are you in business to sell me and the two others $1500 of materials, or are you here to cater to the other people's feelings? Tell me to stop, and we'll go spend our money at Lowe’s." If Home Depot told me that someone else's feelings were more important than my business, I wouldn't have spent $1 in that manager's store.

They are full on running with those heavy carts. The guy who didn't get kicked out was the only one not running being dangerous to other shoppers/ employees.

I haven't gone fishing in almost 10 years. I got the urge a couple weeks ago. Started doing research on RUclips so I could get familiar with the newest/best gear for destroying bass. Came across Norm's channel first randomly. Then Lojo. Then this one. You three have definitely made the research fun and even if you aren't exactly providing content in the way of tips, etc...I know for sure not to buy a pool raft to go catfishing. Thanks for the entertainment. You've got me hooked. Pun intended.

Norm can befriend anyone I swear. Everyone else gets shut down except for norm and he’s filming with an employee like it’s nothing. AYO’s boat looked the best. I hoped LOJO would float the entire time. As for Norms wheelbarrow I didn’t think he even had a shot. Wow great video guys. It was truly entertaining to watch. I had to watch every second just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Loved it great job AYO.

I've ridden in a wheelbarrow boat a lot. for a minute it even had a 2.0ci outboard on it :) Was one of those really huge two wheel wheelbarrows, and I needed to weigh less than 170lbs to drive it safely.
