- Hey guys! Today we are going to do a 100k mile service on my 2022 Toyota Corolla hybrid le. I’m going to be changing the spark plugs, coolant and engine air filter.
Spark plug torque value- 18ftlb

Engine air filter- shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/c... Авто/Мото
You're not supposed to use anti-seize on Denzo spark plugs or NGK iridium you can actually mess up the factory anti-seize that's already on it then eventually they end up getting loose
Nice clear presentation.
My 2020 corolla le is 37000 miles I just replaced cvt ( fe ) transmission fluid ,hopefully make it to million miles😅😂 only 100 years from now
Never pull connectors by the wire, especially small wires. They will come out if you get unlucky
Thanks ❤
Nicely done! I sub'd & gave you a 👍. I own a gen4 Prius, but similiar.
Please you make Toyota Sienna 2021 hybrid look like this one , thanks
Thanks for your informative Videos. Very helpful. May I ask if your Corolla Hybrid consumes any oil? Are you still using M1 0w16 or other types / weights? And, how often you change the oil? Thanks again.
No oil consumption. Still using Mobil 1 0w-16 and changing every 5k miles
That many miles is grindin! Keep hustling my man! Quick question about the wheels, do you know the bore and offset of the stock wheels?
Also how many mpgs did you increase if any?
Offset is 45. Bore is 54.1
Make sure that you service and clean the EGR system which means cleaning the EGR cooler, EGR valve, replacing the PCV valve, and cleaning the EGR passages in the intake manifold. This is very important to do on hybrids to prevent head gasket issues by cleaning out the carbon build up. You should also change the CVT fluid, this should be your 2nd change. It's a very simple drain and fill on the eCVT. Here is a video of the process. This is on a Prius but the process is much the same. ruclips.net/video/b8m1M1F1rsQ/видео.htmlsi=gUyIwy-jgybkV61p
I plan on doing the egr system at 150k miles and for the cvt fluid I just changed it around 73k miles and will be doing that again at 150k
@@TurboJoe304 I wouldn't wait until 150k miles as the EGR cooler will be completely clogged by then and you will be replacing a head gasket. I tell people to do it no longer than every 100k miles and even then I've seen them very badly plugged up. I would also change the CVT fluid no longer than every 50k miles, keep that transmission happy with fresh fluid, I do mine every 30k miles since it's easy and cheap.
What kind of roof racks do you have? Any videos on their installation?
They’re just oem racks

How often has the brake fluid been replaced? Once every year is kind to the car.
No brake fluid has been touched yet. I plan at 150k miles to take it to Toyota for a brake fluid flush. I don’t have the scan tool to open the abs valves to do it myself. I had it done on my wife’s Prius and my local dealership charged $150 for a complete flush
@TurboJoe304 Wow that's a long time without a change. Too many neglect this. Most manufacturers recommend every 2 years or every year like porsche does.
It's kind of strange watching people change their oil often way more than the manufacturer recommends but then ignoring their brake fluid schedule. I'm here wondering why this is the case but the braking system is the major part of car safety.
I’m doing it every 30k on my Prius after checking the moisture levels and condition of brake fluid. If I ignore it, I have to end up with expensive ABS repairs.
How do you drive 100k miles in two years?
I drive 100 miles a day, 6/7 days a week. Adds up quick
No transmission service as well? You had everything off. It’s a simple drain and fill.
Transmission fluid was done at 70k miles. Toyota recommendeds 60-80k on the trans

@@TurboJoe304 perfect, wonder how the trans fluid color was?

Dad wasn’t yelling at me about shining the light in the right place. Unrealistic, Fail.
This is the wrong method to change the coolant. The cylinder head gasket may be damaged. The correct way is to use a vacuum device.
No thanks
