  • In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Toyota #Corolla se or le sedan then take it for a test drive. The Corolla se will get a sporty exterior styling, upgraded wheels and a sport tuned suspension. The Le Corolla will have options for push start, 16 inch wheels instead of hubcap cover and remote power locks that will lead to some quirks which will bring out the pros and cons.

  • @shtstirrer

    Get the LE. The low profile tires of the SE look sharp but I prefer the LE’s larger sidewall for everyday driving. The SE front end looks a little neater and the seats and center console are an upgrade but I don’t know if they’re worth almost $3k extra over the LE. If Toyota still had a stick I would consider paying extra $ to get the SE with its firmer suspension

      @@alvinsimba734 don’t forget that the LE originally had the 1.8 L engine so I think paying the extra $ for the SE trim over the LE was easier to justify .. the 2.0 L is a big deal it is the party piece .. and now the LE has it

    I've helped my mother in law to select her new car after the previous vehicle was destroyed by a deer due to bad high-speed handling.She test drove both LE and XSE hatchback, not SE. We also test drove 2024 Pruis, Honda civic, and Tesla Model 3 and Y. We eventually purchased the XSE hatchback after considering mpg, reliability, cost, and performance. Most non car people don't realize that performance is the best safety feature before they total their cars.

      Get the low profile tires will add a few hundred dollars, but it significantly increases the high-speed handling for small budget cars. High profile tires with high tread hardness ratings are more comfortable, cheaper, and last two times longer, but it also makes your car very vulnerable on the highway even if you always drive below speed limits. We don't want her to go through the terrible situation again, so we picked the car she really needs.

    Nice car. But the big problem I have is the design of the Infotainment screen being so squared, which in my opinion makes it look dated. And the fact that it also extends a but too much over the Dash. Not a fan. But a Beautiful car all in all.

    This may seem like a silly question, but those screens that can do Android - how do you actually connect with Android? Do you have to have like an unlimited data plan with your wireless phone company to, say, listen to your RUclips favorites while you drive?

    • @HawkeyeRides
      @HawkeyeRides  Месяц назад

      I don’t work with cell phone companies but I would recommend an unlimited data plan so you don’t pay extra money when using data. To use your phone you have to connect it thought the center screen and follow the directions on the screen.

I have had mine for 4 years now and 1.8 litre engine does what’s meant to do as always just like any other Toyota I had with that engine in the past. My 2020 Corolla LE is a Canadian spec where heated seats, windshield defroster with blind spot monitoring as standard. As for mileage it’s roughly 27.5k miles for the 4 years I had it. I will be doing 5 year review on it in 2025 here on RUclips and everyone should see it

    I have to say, between the Civic and Corolla, I'd have the Civic because you do get some creature comforts for the base model like push to start, but no smart key, but Corolla has a much lower MSRP at the base trim, but to me the interior of the Corolla looks and feels cheaper than the Civic
