- Dodge Charger Redeye Hood installed on the Twin-Turbo 6.5L 397 Charger R/T. The Charger had the BMC Killer Bee hood for 3+ years & now it's time for a change. What suspention are you useing so it dont rub?
I went with adjustable coilovers. You can adjust the ride height & stiffness so you can drive without any issues.

Love the less aggressive OEM style. Gives her a cleaner appearance.
OEM style does look cleaner, more subtle. The hood scoop & hump is much wider on this hood - I like that.

That’s much better, that other hood was awful. I would wrap that in carbon fiber. I did mine and it was ridiculously beautiful.

I don't think the killer bee hood is "awful" per se; it is very aggressive looking. But in my opinion, the new hood fits the sleeker, more "aerodynamic efficient" lines of the body a bit better. It just seems more like it belongs on the car. Just an opinion, so take it for what it's worth.

At first I was kind of sad to see the hood go, but looking at the new one it does look clean it gives it a whole new fresh look 😎👍 good job
Looks a little more refined, buttoned up - in my opinion. I loved the killer bee but it screamed "aftermarket"

I still haven't even done a full throttle pull. Going to fix a handful of things & then throw the tires on to see how it all feels

I like it! It is nice to have a handy pair of hands to help. My guy likely has friends in every state by now.
It really is so helpful having someone else. Trying to do a hood or many other installs is tough on your own. Def happy with the overall look, fitment & quality of this.
Looking good! I was never crazy about how those vents opened right into the engine bay on the Killer Bee hood.
It wasn't the best hood for bad weather. It collected to much rain water at the bottom of the hood as well - was kind of annoying.

I watch your channel like a t.v series 😂 but the new hood gives it a nice settle smooth/aggressive look. We’ll have to do a retake on my from the previous time because I’ve done a lot since you last seen it at the track and upgraded a lot with more to come 😈

Hey man love the videos and builds💯💪🏾keep it up I have a question I have the Holley efi intake and fuel lines like you do but I don’t have it installed kinda wanna just install the fuel lines like you have it, but is there any issues with it

Man as much money you put into it and patience you had waiting for them to fix it and it still has issues 😢😢 that twin turbo is too much problems but it’s still badass
Few things…. New hood looks great. Love that the blue beast is back. Very upset that you are already having issues after you paid an arm and a leg to have your car “fixed” and tuned properly, and waited “forever”, just to have fuel pump issues…. Not happy with that at all…. Shop issue or is this on you or part failure??
The pumps weren't secured properly - I think it's a install & parts issue. They had to secure it using zip ties - while I was driving a fuel line got knocked loose so there was no fuel pressure. I was very annoyed but at least they came to me & fixed it. Eased the pain.
I actually like the other hood better, but looks sick regardless !

I got that hood when it was first released from vicrez and the center bezel never would fit properly so good luck on that. I even purchased new ones from them and still wouldn’t fit.

it's still on 93 octane & 10 lbs of boost - 730whp & 770 in torque range.
Ill wait till you get the hood wrapped to give my opinion. Im kinda anti trend. As in I see a lot of people getting this hood regardless of trim and body style.
I wonder if this will maintain or have a less heatsoak under the hood.
Once I have it wrapped it's going to look really slick! The killer bee hood was super aggressive looking

Like I said over the years a bunch of people are trying to keep up with the newest stock look and it doesnt really push the aftermarket game of the mopar scene. Im sure you will make it more of a 1 of 1 tho. And thats what twists my neck lol

Looks good but i think i liked the Bee hood better. Do you have the hood still? I might want it. I still have my B5 blue Daytona Hellcat. For some reason you don’t pop up on my page very often. It’s still weird seeing you in Florida. Plus i thought you’d get home sick-it’s a culture shock here. It’s not very family oriented here and you don’t have the generational neighborhoods like back home in NY. I’ve been 20yrs and miss the food but not the weather especially when it comes to cars. I have to go thru and binge watch your videos. I don’t see your wife in the videos I’ve seen or another vehicle. I hope everything is ok-I’m only mentioning her because she was cool. The demon video with her was cool. Hopefully nothing went bad or worse. Kind wish you would’ve moved farther south in Florida but there must be a reason you ended up there and it does look nice and not to overcrowded where you are. Have you noticed how much cooler cops are here and not always hanging around to bust you like in NY. I live in a county and right by a major highway/main road with stores on it where there are tons of crazy cars. They turned a major road that packed with Dealerships every store you could imagine,storage places ,doctors offices and on this road every 2-3 miles all the stores start back over. So you’ll have McDonald’s,Himedepot,Lowes,Ford,Dodge,Chevy dealer,uhaul,rental cars,banks,Publix,Outback,Walmart,strip malls,dispensaries,etc. So no joke every 2-3 miles all these places start over. So i have 3 Homedepots within 5-10 minutes in the car. I have 4 Publix within 2 miles. So they then turned this road into a highway-they’re actually building more overpasses right by my house as we speak because this used to be just a flat road and they’re working their way up it and it runs the whole county and building over passes because at least 3 intersections on this road would be on the top 10 deadliest intersections in the country every year-one year we had 5 of the top ten. So image trying to turn onto this highway from an intersection with cars going 60-90mph. Nit merging just turning out of these stores or street. So it’s insane and believe it or not having a fast car saves your life here. My wife drives our Durango Hellcat and everyone said i was going to kill my wife but she ended up loving it because she can get out of the way fast and brake super fast. Ppl just don’t realize these cars are built to make driving easier and technically safer. Anyway the car looks cool but i will miss the way it was with the hood and blue spoiler.
Did you get the startup issues resolved?
There was no fuel pressure. The problem was in the fuel tank & yes all is working now
@RTLife I spoke to Glenn, I am bringing my car to the Saint Lucie location to get my tune right ... He is a good dude and had nothing negative to say about your setup... Yours was one of the first and just need some extra love....
You'll like Glenn. He's a straight shooter - my Charger needed a lot of love. Glad it's coming together though

Could of saved a few hundred if you ordered it from DRA based out in Ohio. They're selling them hoods in the $700 dollar range not including shipping.

The Amazon photo hood isn't the same as what you received.
Wrap it the same color as the car. And wrap the vents too same color.
I like the black/blue combo.

Noticed your car leaves you stranded a lot. I wish these were reliable but reliability and dodge/chrysler don't go together.
