What a cool car, poor thing was left in a barn like that glad you guys decided to spruce it up back to it's daily use if the engine works just keep it to add extra value to the car !
Such cars don't need too much to be cool just a little attention to detail prevent the rust to spread out, a little work under the bonnet with all consumables replaced it will be a cool sled !
We love your washing cars channel and we watch you guys from Europe, so don't stop ! 💯💢
USA FAKYO MZOR 🇺🇸🏳️🌈💩🤢🤮👍⚰️🔥☢️
probably replace for a k20.

My dad passed down his 1997 Prelude (base) before he passed in 2020. Other than a small dent and some needed detailing, it runs like a champ. Miss you pops!
Never sell that car! Sorry about your loss :(
rip
@@V4LIDBANKS Thank you.
@Leiberg101 Thank you. I've had a couple of people asking about it. I tell them, nope. Not for sell!
Que vaya con dios
5th gen Prelude owner here, thank you for restoring this beaut.
That’s what I’m saying too those cars look amazing looking
@@UncleTony2 100% man
Great job! No idea about the bird, but a Honda Prelude is a rare sight these days and this one is looking much better! If I had this car I would focus on getting it running and have a body shop take care of the rust and rough spots and then probably change out the wheels and that’s it… A Honda V-Tec with a manual transmission would be a pretty engaging drive!
Kolesá sa umývajú tak , že sa odmontujú a umyjú sa komplet teda aj z vnútornej strany !!!!!😢😢😢
The thing I love most about these sort of video's is the long-term effect. Cause 80% of these "rotten cars" would be left to rot even further or brought to the scrapyard. By making them a 100% cleaned out again, it exposes all the little details and issues people might run into but makes it a lot more "do able" to actually restore it or work on the rust and drive the car again. It just means that more older cars are being preserved, driven and kept instead of destroyed, left and abandonded. Great work guys!
What a beautiful car the Prelude. And more in white! The best generation without a doubt
Debatable
I never had a Honda Prelude, but always liked them. That version of the Prelude looks the best to me.
The interior turned out spot on! Of course you did the best you could on the outside considering the rust spots and all. You do quality work!
One of my favorite cars since I was a kid!!!! Nice work!!!!
Thanks!
The golden era of Japanese autos. That thing still looks nice quarters rust set aside.
I still drive mine only in the summer 2001 get lots of compliments on it. Leave the H22a engine. Great engine
Smart. It's an investment at this point. Only going to keep appreciating.
I have a 99 Civic Si that I've owned since new. That's become a part of the retirement portfolio 🙂
Had a white ‘98 Prelude. Loved that car. The pearl in that white diamond pearl really popped in the sunlight after it was polished and waxed. Great color from Honda. Seeing this brings back memories.
Its a stock Honda with a H22 Vtec. Keep it as it is. Stock Hondas are rare nowadays
The Honda Prelude was always one of my favourite looking cars...great work again team , you turned it back into a "Hot Wheels" car again
Interior looks flawless
That interior came out so good. The exterior too, considering all the issues it had. Well done!
The 90's had some of the coolest taillights. Prove me wrong
agree, but these arent stock headlights :(
And the question on everyone minds how a bird got into a car
The world may never know…. But seriously, who knows
@@WDDetailing too true
got 3 of those, best cars if ever owned! Nice to see this one getting a second live!
A transformação que vocês fazem nos carros é incrível, top demais 👏👏👏. Esses bancos de veludo devem proporcionar um conforto tremendo. Saudações do Brasil. From Brazil.
Great job guys. Wish I could be as consistent in my videos as you are. Your storytelling has gotten so good.
Man that is an awesome comment! We’ve worked on that a lot, you noticing is a great compliment!!
@@WDDetailingI have a Honda prelude as well, it is in DESPERATE needs of a detail and is I'm great shape overall, it's a 98 and the interior is amazing, please get back to me If It's something you'd be Interested in detailing, I'm located in Seattle Washington, would be happy to pay the shipping to send the car out to Ohio.
Been waiting on this video for YEARS!!
That car came out Great! The Interior looked amazing!
Currently building a show ready 2000 prelude! Love seeing your detailing tips
Loved the Honda Preludes!! I'd still drive one!!
One of my favourite cars I’ve ever owned. I also had loads of birds in my car 👧 😂
It's always so satisfying to watch a high quality detail job being done.
This car needs to be restored! Such an iconic car.
One of my favorite cars. Well done guys as always
I miss these! Honda's former premium coupe. This car competed against a number of sporty premium coupes such as Toyota Celica, Nissan 200/240SX Ford Probe,Mazda MX6, DSM triplets (Mitsu Eclipse/Plymouth Laser/Eagle Talon and numerous other similar vehicles.
They should bring it back, but do it right. But Manufacturers always seem to miss the mark when they bring back discontinued models
@@WDDetailingSadly a lot has changed between 2001 and now. I doubt we would recognize a new Prelude as compared to the previous model. Look what happened when Honda "brought back" the NSX and the Integra. They turned the NSX from an affordable exotic you could drive every day to an overdone hybrid nobody could afford at $160k. The new Integra is only available as a four door and and now they want $37,000 for it?
I recall seeing this absolutely beautiful 1986Si in Teal at a car show. I admired it so much, the salesman said "the next time you walk past this I'm going to have to sell it to you". I do hope they do the proper sheet metal repair and corrosion protection on this car. It's worth the investment.
Another good one guys, great job. Great production on this video Brent 👌👍
Thank you!
Excellent job as always. keep up the good work job.. One of my favorite cars. Well done guys as always.
Excellent job as always. keep up the good work job.
Great job guys!👍👍👍
From French, i love this job !🙏🏼thank’s
Another great job you done ❤
Thank you kindly!
Proud Prelude owner, The 5th gen was a return to the original square design of the first 3 generations. And the H motor such a unique and underused motor compared to its K, B, and F series counterparts. Made to compete with the Toyota Celica but ultimately killed because it ultimately competed with Honda's very own line up such as the Acura Integra and the Civic Type R. Its rare to find these on the street anymore but they are relatively reliable and cheap. Highly recommend anyone who is considering buying one of these to go for it!
I'm a domestic guy, but the prelude is a car I've always wanted, awesome cars, good job guys ❤
Always fun to watch!!
You are the guys who got me into detailing 💯😌
Before you work on the back wing; you should announce something like "spoiler alert ", thank you, thank you- I'll be here all week
Another great detail. Thanks
I love amazing WD Detailing our nothing seatbelt It's car wash, Phew! Excuse me, WD Detailing😊!
yall did a fantastic job on this car guy! love the 2001 Prelude. i like going fast so id say K20 Turbo swap
Love these Honda predudes.
I worked for Stockton Honda from 2001 to 2007 and I remember detailing the Honda Preludes after they got sold back in 2001. Man this video brought memories. I could never own one because I was too tall and that car isn’t really good for 4 people unless they were small. Fun, fast car but the leg room sucked. Lol
It was made to compete with the Celica. I'm shocked the seals in those euro tails are still solid. I've never had a pair where the seals lasted.
As a ST204 Celica owner I see many similarities.
You are doing amazing job boys ❤
Definitely chucking an EK type-r engine in there. Another great job guys
It’s only original once. Keep the engine if it runs. Another great video.🚗👍
My first new car was a red 98 prelude 5 spd. Such a great car. I remember I had a current motor trend that had a comparison of every new car for sale that year. My prelude stickered for 24K. It competed against alot at that price including mustangs and camaros.
I love the Honda prelude
The Honda Prelude was made to compete against the Toyota Celicia. Both Cars are loved by many car fans around the world. The rivalry between the branches it what give us so much for our hobby time. Tuning, Racing, Shows ect. There is enough for everybody to find something interesting about cars or motocycles. Found out about WDDetailing a few days ago and i love the Videos. Relaxing to watch and also very interesting and lots of infos to care for your own car :) thx guys keep on going o/
Honestly, I'd just be happy with any reliable car, but a dream would be any 1970's car.
Great job guys!! 😊
Thank you sneaks!!!
i love preludes! i have mine for 3 years now !
bought my prelude at 15 and now im 18 been building it for 4 years now and i will make sure my children get one for there first car. i love my prleude
I picked up a 98 and have been getting it road ready. Once everything is done mechanically, Ill clean it up. So nice to get a good idea of what to do.
Now that's a Car Culture, it's a buried treasure car always, you doing a good job cleaning.
One of the best handling cars ever made.
why are these videos so damn satisfying 😅
I have a 1996 prelude - all original - love the car ❤❤
Wow spectacular
First off, I love watching your videos. There's something oddly satisfying about seeing all the dirt and other crap come off the vehicles!!! What would you suggest is the easiest way to clean the inside of the windshield? Like what cleaner and what to use to wipe it down? Thank you.
H22 is a great engine. Everyone wants a K engine. I'd keep it. Worth more eventually
I wanted a Prelude so bad when I was in h.s. It was THE car to have. This model looks similar to the Integra.
I love your contents.
That H22 motor is great but nowadays many honda fans are moving towards k24 turbo
Nice job. This car is from back when Honda used quality carpet!
Really grateful for the subtitles.
nice work. beautiful gen prelude
Buddy had one of these, it was a blast.
This one brought back memories, I owned a Prelude. It was a great car in it's day! I'm guessing the bird was alive when it entered, but sadly, couldn't get back out 😢
Japanese cars becoming very collectable. Keep them stock boys and girls! Thank you for another interesting video.
Crazy how rust is such a problem everywhere. It'll be 115* here in Las Vegas today, but it's rare to have to deal with rust 😊
That’s always nice
Awesome car nice looking.
Wow great job
I had a 4th generation Prelude. Personally I think its far more attractive than this 5th gen. However, I was surprised to see how many interior parts which hadn't been changed with this later model. Petrol and boot release, gear knob, sunroof button etc. You asked about the engine. I'd definitely keep this VTEC engine but get those wheels refurbed to original colour. The arches are going as mine did. I had them cut out and rewelded. Wonderful job.
oh always love seeing clay mitt used to agitate the fallout remover. I've never seen why you wouldn't as the fallout remover is so soapy!
Dope video!
Another detailing video. Interesting
I love Honda spoilers simple but beautiful
my favorite car well done
Good old mustang killer right there! Wish I could get my hands on one of them one day
Love this car
My friend drove one in highschool.... It was a amazing car for the time... I miss riding in it.
That H22 is timeless I’d keep it
Belo Honda!!!!!!
Love yall detail jobs be looking great but one tip on the tire shine do the rollover just push the car forward or back just a lil bit to get that part of the tire that's sitting on the ground other then that keep up the good work fellas
I just got off the phone with the bird’s family and apparently he was a Toyota fanboy and flew in through a crack in the driver’s side window to take a dump in the backseat. It was an intense poop and he actually had a heart attack. The family searched for years and finally gave up in late 2019. They are grateful for the closure.
I know a guy with like 16 or 18 crazy cars just chilling in his barn
Car come out real nice
Id love to see the full restoration of this Prelude
Nice car in the days!
What kind of question is to change that engine? People use this engine to change into their cars. That engine definitely stays in the car. The H22 engine out of the prelude is one of the best to come from Honda.
Love ❤️ watching you guys making these cars look 👀 amazing I used to do what you guys do and it always amazed me how such a dirty disgusting vehicle turned out in to a real gem 💎. I am disabled and now can no longer work. I just wish that on some of your car giveaways I could get one as I know it’s only in your country that you can give them away to.
Keep up the good work guys your amazing and watching you helps me with my mental health issues so thank you for that.
Kind regards Richard from Dronfield Derbyshire England 🏴
What would really be a "cherrry on top" would be if you guys would show us the owners' reactions to the cars when they get them back.
Fantastic job guys. I love to see you younger people keeping car crafting alive. as "Big-Tech" is trying to take away our right to repair our own vehicles. We cannot let "them" get away with that.
this looks insane
This is 100% worth saving.
I'd leave it all stock except the wheels, tires, stereo equipment. Thats it!
