As someone who has worked on cars and bikes for many years I can really appreciate the hundreds of hours you must of put in to complete this project. It's nice that its all wrapped up into a bitesize video but it doesn't do justice to all the preparation work you must of done especially with the bodywork. Well done fantastic job

Many points I’d like to make:
    1) I love this channel as you’d never get these unknown hot hatches on mainstream American renovation channels. Very niche and why I love it
    2) I really appreciate that they’re short videos and not spread out over 8 episodes with a load of babble over every little detail that many people don’t really care about. I just throw an episode on during my lunch with time to spare. Perfect balancing.
    3) I’m very impressed how in good condition this Starlet was (excluding the rust hole on the boot).
Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Man this brings back memories of mine. A facelift '95; rare with all factory extras and in near mint condition. One of the (if not) best cars i've owned. Was later stolen after i sold it by joyriders who had it for days and they couldn't blow it up, was recovered and put back on the road only needing a clutch and a few other bits. Unbelievable cars. Talk about value for money in the mid 00's. A legend. Japanese all the way.

Who knows, may have passed you on the road at some stage. ;)

Nicely done man. These cars were so popular in NZ when they first made the scene. So glad you've restored it tastefully and I'm amazed you didn't drag it out to 10 episodes lol.

When i saw 'restoration' I didn't know what to expect, especially with the level that it would be... But this is a CRAZY transformation mate... I had one of these (with the same light up rear GT badge) so this was a trip down memory lane for me, but incredible job. I hope you still have it and plan on doing so because these little treasures are so rare now, especially unmolested. Smashed it 🙏
    Miss mine every day. ♥️

No show off with expensive tools or luxurious workshop. Love it! All the best wishedfor health, luck and joy for you and your family. Nice to see your boys joining in a bit as well.

Bravo from down Under Australia mate. These things are a hoot - years ago you'd see the odd one after being imported and I had a drive of one. Me and my mates were just laughing in it, all the character it had. 100kw / 140hp or thereabouts, but its a great little thing and would bring so much fun every time you took it out.

Absolutely amazing restoration. So much detail in the work. The only thing that could have been done better are the headlight restoration. It is much easier to restore headlights, now with Headlight restoration kit from Auto Zone or even Walmart for under $20, those kits don't require any special tools, just your hands, and clear coat keeps those headlights like brand new for years. I have done it on couple of cars and those still look good after a year.

The best way to restore headlights is to sand off the faded surface and polish it back; exactly what he did. The kits from an auto parts store are just a bandaid fix. The oxidation layer needs to be removed.
