Tank you man that NSX started to get badly with mice in it.. such cars are rare sight on Europe not even mention with such low mileage and still in such good shape un-molested.. if we remember right NSX has a great handling because was developed with a great F1 pilot A.Senna that is why is so special not just because is also Honda first real mid-engine supercar..

And its not just the NSX that's wonderful to drive! I had a 2007 Accord estate (station wagon), with the 2.0 VTEC engine, and manual gearbox (stick shift). It was a total joy to own. Around town, the engine was silky smooth and quiet, but always happy to rev; on the motorway (freeway) the overtaking ability was phenominal, from just 156 bhp. I always used premium petrol (gasolene) which made it even more lively!
And it was the little things that made the car so outstanding: a driver's seat that was perfectly shaped, low-slung and supportive. I once drove down to Devonshire - a five hour non-stop trip and got out with not an ache, or any stiffness. The handbrake (e-brake), gear stick, and steering wheel were all perfectly positioned for the driver. The instrument panel was so clear and legible. The Accord, supposedly a mudane car, had clearly been designed by people who really understood what made a car special. Oh, and to top it off, 100% reliable, in the three years I owned it.
Honda, in my humble opinion, makes the best mass-produced engines around.
Great video, you chaps! Greeting from England!

There are people who look at such a car as a hindrance to even own and cant be bothered to sell so they just flog it on some land they own. happens with rich people and all kinds of toys, especially high end boats and sports cars. When you got 3 new sports cars in your driveway, that NSX becomes the red headed step child and gets treated as such

  • @PandaSingstheGames

to get color dyes out of carpet you use Windex, an old White towel, and a clothes iron you no longer need for ironing clothes. The method is called heat transfer, you spray the stained area with Windex very well, get the old white towel wet and wring it out till it's just damp. place the damp towel over the soaked colored stain and then the hot clothes iron on the damp towel where the stain is. Pay attention to it by checking under the towel and the stain will transfer from the carpet to the towel. move the towel around to unstained areas and respray the stain with Windex as needed.

An NSX is at the top of my Honda fanboy list but as a detailer and OE+ restorer with my other cars, this was unnecessarily abused letting it sit out and then the removal of the factory wheels along with no spare tire/wheel in the frunk, and mouse condition, it’s maybe a $40k-$45k at best. Regardless, still love seeing an NSX beautified and appreciated with a detail.

If that was my NSX, I wouldn't swap the interior for black. The Black/Tan (caramel/brown...whatever it's called) combo looks great. The seats look like they've been recovered, by the way. I've never seen a 100K+ mile NSX that didn't have wear on the side bolsters. I'd like to have those seats in my NSX. I have a Red/Tan '97 - targa/6 speed (bought it with 64K miles five years ago) and the seats are the only part of the car that look used. If his black NSX is a five speed (I couldn't tell from the video) it's a pre-1997 model with the 3.0. I think the targa option was introduced in '95 so I'm guessing his NSX (if it's a 5 speed) is a '95 or '96. As for value, my best guess for a 150K mile NSX would be $60K to $80K depending on accident history. Prices are all over the place. I just found a few 95's for sale online with 100K+ miles selling in the $90K-100K range.

The NSX and the R8 actually have quite a lot in common. They are the most approachable supercars of their time. You can daily drive either of those and, as long as you service the parts that need routine maintenance on time, they will just go forever and be eminently easy to drive. They're the perfect cars for rich people who want to look cool and exciting, but don't actually want the trouble of a more involved sports car. The clutches are very moderate, the gearboxes are easy to shift, the suspension is very compliant despite being very capable, and the steering isn't particularly heavy. Many people compare the everyday driving experience of the NSX to a Honda Accord, and they're really not too far off. If you don't push the car, then it behaves very much like a tame, mundane, but very comfortable sedan. The R8 is similar in that it drives about like an A6 if you don't push it. Comfortable, compliant, easy to drive.
In today's market, a low-mileage manual 3.2L pre-facelift NSX with an original interior and stock drivetrain and body should be valued, conservatively, at $60k. In excellent condition, with low mileage, and a recent service, it could net $80k or more depending on the paint and interior colors. Type-S and other special editions can fetch more if they're in good condition. Higher mileage examples do lose some value, dropping down into the mid $40k range, mostly because of the amount of work needed to service the engine, replace all of the bushings, replumb the vacuum lines and fuel lines, etc. Of course, this may still be necessary with low mileage examples if they haven't been kept in a climate controlled environment.
I absolutely would NOT recommend replacing the interior with a black interior. Black on black lacks contrast. I'd stick with the camel interior and try cleaning it again with a different type of cleaner, possibly with steam extraction. Once you start changing the color of things, the value starts to drop because it's no longer original. So if you're going to a different color then you might as well swap the dash out for black and change the seats and carpets for wine red for that yakuza look.

For me as a child of the 80s, a car era came to an end at the end of the 90s. A car like the NSX was dream cars. Nice to see that you saved such a nice car. Today, no one builds such cars anymore. Unfortunately, the NSX was never available in Germany. At most, they are imported, but you never see them. Where do you think all these cars have gone?

My cousin used to have a 1948 Lincoln, 1952 Cadillac and a 55 Bel-Air. They were all immaculate, but none had engines of transmissions. They were prop cars used for movies. He would rent them out for exterior shots. So you never can say what a car is worth by looks.

    Entertaining video! In 2007 I was considering buying a 1990 NSX for $18k or a 1985 Porsche 911 for $18k.
I bought the 911 that now in 2024 is worth $60k but the NSX is worth $90k. From an investment perspective I should have bought the NSX but from a driving perspective I'm glad I bought the 911.
The 90 NSX would out perform the 85 911 but for my tastes the 911 gives me more driving pleasure. I sold the 85 911 and bought a 95 911 which IMO is the perfect Porsche 911 ever made. 😀 Cheers!

These people put a car outside for a week, throw dirt on it, and then put on a pathetic performance.
