YES!! The Seekers gave the world so much! I love the vast musical contributions they made to our world. But this video and this performance captures a feeling and sentiment of that era better than any. I am delighted that what I believed in is now being heard on RUclips for all the world to experience again. The words may seem to some to be contrite and cavalier, but the feelings expressed are not!
yeah i keep telling you folks theres no one born yet to get within a light year of her, she's unique, she's awesome, she has the most beautiful voice on earth, she will never be copied or bettered because there is only one lady i'm talking about, her name JUDITH DURHAM, love you judith.xxx.
even today this looks good. just remember the song god is great beer is good and in heaven there is no beet that's whz they drink beer here (on earth) anf people are crazy good or crazy not good or just plain not good enough. so lets meet in the middle.and say she is crazy good and leave the great for the lord almighty. praise the lord and pass the mustard and leave the lethal ammunition in a locked box at homr.
@misterdakman Agreed, she is. I never knew The Seekers did this but I know Elvis had recorded a version. Shame the BBC couldnt find this clip for the Elvis Sings... programme. They used Boy George instead.
Thank you for sharing this and other videos of this amazing group. It appears that these videos (or perhaps films) were recorded in a small "coffee house" setting. Can you share with us the origin of these videos/films? Is this a part of a series? Thank you again, this group and this woman were and continue to be awesome.
johnfsut Before they became famous, the Seekers used to play at the Treble Clef, a coffee house/cafe in Toorak Road South Yarra, an inner suburb of Melbourne. This is probably a re enactment of it.

Judith sounds much more jazzy/gospelly here - and she's so pretty.
The lads are there in the background doing what they did best: support her performance.

Well... They don't make 'em like that anymore. And by that I don't just mean Judith, but I mean The Seekers as a group.
ruclips.net/video/SWdCvtw9myY/видео.html is the same clip - higher resolution but cropped. (And says it's 1967.)
