So sad to hear this, she was one of the best singers ever. RIP Judith.
How very sad it is we have to say goodbye to an amazing Australian talent. Deepest sympathies to her family
Sad she's gone, but wonderful that the music she sang will always be with us.
@@peacemonger766 now the carnival really is over, and life without Judith Durham, is just awful.
Brilliant unforgettable
It was sad, but don't overstate her abilities. She certainly was NOT "one of the best singers ever." Not even close.
I'm sat here crying my eyes out but she reached a good age and fulfilled her dream, R.I.P Beautiful Lady
as an American kid in So.California...IN THE 1960'S ...songs by the Seekers were always great to hear on the radio.....she was beautiful and had a Golden voice...RIP JUDITH
Judith had the Prettiest Female Voice of All Times! She was a Beautiful Person! I loved all the songs from "The Seekers".
RIP Judith, we'll never find another you.
Love that song still brings a 😢
I still love the Seekers music
We will never find another you. Rest in Peace.
Judith may have been the pride of Australia, but she was the voice of the entire planet. God bless you Judy...
She was strong of voice, character, goodness, and heart. She was magnificent. I will never forget her.
Ah, they just don't make them like Judith Durham any more! Humble, articulate, decent, thankful, supremely gifted. I remember when The Seekers disbanded, and my late mother was so sad at that. She really loved that Band and all of their wonderful music. Ms Durham's legacy is immortal, and is one of the all time great female singers in my book!
they never made like them like Judith at any time in history , shes a one off , there was never another voice like hers and there never will be
probably one of the very strongest hooks I have ever heard . Shame really
Yes Mrs Durham was a very phenomenal singer and person to. She did very well and gave many gifts to the world with her singing and piano playing expertise.
There will never be another like her! RIP Judith, you were so special. 💕
She had one of the most exquisitely pure singing voices I've ever heard. Natural, warm, effortless - it had everything. I got such joy from listening to the Seekers.
Amen to that.😇. Rest in Paradise Ms. Judith Durham
Rosemary, I must disagree with you slightly. She didn’t have “one of the most exquisitely pure singing voices I’ve ever heard”. Judith Durham had THE most exquisitely pure singing voice. Sadly, in August last year the world lost the greatest singing talent it’s ever had and, almost certainly, will ever have. Thank god, we have so many recordings of her!.
What a loss. My heart will bleed tonight.
She was dearly loved by my generation and many generations to follow. A beautiful beautiful person with a beautiful beautiful voice. 🥀🥀🥀
I am from México and i only can say with tears falling in my soul, "I"ll never find another you", RIP Miss Judith Durham.
Seekers and especially her unique voice continue to play forever on my iPod.
Omg, I'm tearing up. What a superstar!! Gone but never forgotten 💔
Rest in peace. Judith Durhum
Oh, no! Sadness does not begin to describe how I feel. She was amazing as was her group the Seekers!
Thank you, Australia, for sharing this beautiful gem with all of us around the world.
Love the Aussies. They have always been great friends and allies of the USA.
Thank you from Canada. Love you.
I courted my late wife to the seekers very sad news RIP 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Judith Durham, thank you for the music, thank you for the memories, thank you for leaving us a legacy. RIP!
My mother loved The Seekers back in the day, still does. I grew up hearing this music. Amazing voice.
Oh my God! What a loss. Love you from Canada Judith. R.I.P. My darling. R.I.P.
The best voice ever, im 71 years old,and my youngest son is 21, but he loves Judith just like me. Freddie The Swede.
I have always loved her.
RIP Judith, you are a legend, and have returned home. Thankyou for the music xox
No one could put such feeling into “I’ll Never Find Another You" as Judith Durham did. Will miss her.
🙏 Thank You So Much Judith Durham for your wholesome songs over the decades ... May Judith Durham be Blessed to a Better World & Realm ... 🕯🌷🌿🌏💜🕊🇦🇺
Rest in Peace
How very sad it is we have to say goodbye to an amazing Australian talent. Deepest sympathies to her family 💜💜
Wonderful lady! A big part of my childhood. Now she sings with the angels.
A beautifully clear resounding singing voice ...fresh and uplifting..attractive..she wll be greatly missed RIP Judith
A voice for the ages. I’ll never get tired of listening to “I’ll Never Find Another You.”
Yes !!
My dad loved the Seekers. Itsa bit sad for me as it brings back memories of him playing their records when I was young. Judith's voice NEVER changed even into her 70s, she was phenominal. I'm a hardened rock fan but along with Karen Carpenter, Judith is up there with the very best female vocalists ever . What sad news indeed that she has left us.
Karen and Judith were definitely up there on MY list of "the very best female vocalists ever" also!
@@goosewhisperer6275 Ditto, folks!!! 💖💖🎶🎶
@@goosewhisperer6275 Karen, Judith and Olivia Newton John 😭😭😭and all have let us now, so sad 😞
I can add another that is just as humble, empathetic, beautiful. her name is simply: Sissel. Because they are so similar in persona I often wondered if they'd ever met.
@@goosewhisperer6275 I grew up in the sixties, an the seekers were one of my favorites. Judith, Karen Carpenter an Linda Ronstad ♥are my favorite singers
Growing up in the Philippines in the 60’s I listen to their music. I now live in America and discovered their song again and it makes me reminisce my life back then. I love their music!
Who will ever replace her angelic voice? Nobody. RIP Judith! Thanks for all your music.
The world has lost a beautiful singer 💔 RIP JUDITH 🙏 🕊 We will miss you but will continue to listen to your songs and watch you on videos 😢😢 xx
Judith you will be sorely missed thank goodness we still have your voice to remember you bye, I had no idea that you had such a tough time with various problems what a beautiful gentle woman, my love always from England😢😢🇬🇧
Her singing added something to my life, I will listen to her and the Seekers forever.
So very sorry to hear this. I loved Judith Durham and the Seekers. Sending Prayers and condolences to her Family and friends. May she R.I.P.
RIP Judith - you were and still are a legend ❤️🇦🇺
the Carnival is over. Farewell to Judith Durham, a lovely voice, a lovely lady.
I just love Judith Durham , what a beautiful voice , spirit , and lady who inspired so many with her talent and of course her band of brothers, and now she continues her journey God Bless
Judith Durham was amazing as were The Seekers. Her music will live on for eternity.
I only watched from on tv the year that Judith Durham & the Seekers performed at the Grand Final. The incredible roar of cheers & applause at the end of "I Am Australian", made the hair on my neck stand up & will remain with me forever.
Thank you for the memories of your crystal clear beautiful voice Judith Durham, you were truly "Australian".
Judith D who stood up to binge drinking, drugs n free sex and yet captured global hearts, knocked beatles off the no 1 spot on the UK charts.
I never knew she spoke out against the vices. Good for her!
So many memories attached to her music. RIP Judith, thank you.
It's so true. I play folk music and other music from my day, and it triggers so many memories. Things I wish I did different, but that's life. Such happy times also.
I feel as if a large measure of my ever dwindling youth has gone with Judith. Her beautiful voice and spirit will fortunately guide me the rest of the way. Rest in sweet peace, dear one . . .
My condolences to Athol Bruce Keith and family manager and all who loved her
My sentiments entirely
To the Family ,and to The Seekers, and to the fans,,
May God bless you all.
I loved the Seekers and their beautiful songs. We were lucky to have her for 79 years. Still listening and recalling those days when they were at the top.
She was my favourite singer and the very FIRST from Australia. Rest in peace, dear lady and beautiful singer.😔🙏🕊
She had one of the most expressive, clear and feminine voices in the whole world - unforgettable! Thank you so much - we will never find another like her!!!
Well said!
Pure, femine, clear never an uncertain of note, Judith knew what she was at and gave us full measure.
One can't imagine we'll ever hear her like again.
I was probably already in love with her at the age of twelve....
Lovely lady with a gorgeous voice. RIP Judith ❤
Now you can continue to sing like an angel, as an angel, where pain will no longer be able to hurt you anymore. Rest In Peace, Dear Lady!
Very sad to hear this news. Loved her voice and grew up listening to much of her music. R.I.P. Judith.
To us, she’s not gone… she’ll live forever through her music. I feel blessed to have lived in the same time as Judith Durham and The Seekers.
She was/is so special.. As a little boy of 5 years old living in Queens New York, She and The seekers harmony spoke directly to my heart and soul.. I was too young for the Beatles or the Stones, but she connected with a shy loneliness I felt as a little boy..
Gutted ! No one else like her on the planet - the opposite of a diva - the soundtrack of my life !
❤
The Seekers- Athol Guy, Keith Potzger, Bruce Woodley and Judith Durham. Their music and Judith's voice will be with us forever. Rest
in peace Judith.
I am assuming the men will retire now, maybe not. I feel for them.
@@cocoaorange1 -All 3 of the men are in their 80's . They have been retired except for Seeker's re-unions when Judith was healthy enough
to join them.
God bless her. What a voice!
RIP Judith . we will never find another you. Such a special lady with a wonderful voice xx
when it comes to tone she and Karen Carpenter top the list
She had the voice of an angel and now she is one. RIP Judith.
Well said !!
"I know I'll never find another you" was the most impactful song of my life. Thank you Judith.
Now she is really sing with the Angels. A very special lady . . . thank you Judith!

She had such a amazing voice and just got better and better. So sad to hear but she has left so many memories. RIP Judith
RIP Judith, loved your voice.
The whole group, The Seekers, were a really special bunch of people. Great that they found each other and produced the work they did.
Time stood still for me Saturday when I found out Judith had gone! Judith led a timeless Folk group!
Never to be forgotten! I was but a baby when I was hearing Morningtown Ride! Too many hits to mention!
Great big RIP, sleep easy my wee Judith xxx
Saddened to hear of her passing. One of the most piercing and memorable voices from my childhood.
THIS IS TAKING ME BY SURPRISE...SHE & SEEKERS MOVED ME GREATLY....STILL DO AT 85...RIP
Me, the same...at 84.

Same with my mum. I like The Carnival Is Over the best.
A big part of Australian folk and early rock just left the here and now,RIP JUDITH DURHAM…….
The best, purest female voice in popular music.
What a beautiful voice! The Best!
Just returned home to Canada a couple of evenings ago from Scotland where I attended a cremation service for my Mother on the 29th July. The only man she ever loved passed on some 17 years ago and the only woman who came between mother and father was an Australian singer by the name of Judith Durham. For me Judith will always be Friday. RIP.
What can I say?
May God bless you and family.
I don't understand? Why Friday? I missed something 🤔
@@toby2873 Angeline Is Always Friday by The Seekers has always been one of my favourite songs. Judith Durham passed away on a Friday.
🤔 Ah chinga no entendí nada ni traduciendolo
Very few singers can claim 'perfect pitch' and Judith was so modest that she never claimed this gift. The sounds of the Seekers will live on and Judith will leave the legacy of that beautiful voice, that many might copy, but few will reproduce. Judith, you were unique. God bless you and wherever you are now, you will always be remembered.
Rest in Peace, Judith! An Unforgettable voice!
Thank you Judith for the wonderful music of my life. Rest in peace and sing with the angels.
Beautiful talented lady.
She was a beautiful soul and her voice is of an angel, I have no doubt that she is using now in heaven
Her voice was a great tribute to humanity, I greatly enjoyed her singing, she will be surely miss. 😊
RIP Judith....I grew up listening your music....u will forever be in my heart...
Shes been around forever.
God bless you sweetheart
May She Rest in Peace. Judith & The Seekers sound is in my ears and heart. Love from NYC.
Her incredible voice blended so well with the others in the group. Thank you for the pleasure of hearing you from the 60s on.
Judith, we all love you…RIP!
The last couple of months I’ve been listening so much to The Seekers reminding me of my childhood in the sixties iconic group and singer will be much missed.
I was in elementary school on the 60's and grew up hearing this music. My older sisters listened to the radio while doing the dishes or working on their homework. It was the sweetest time, and I'd give anything to go back and live for a day back then. Not as a do-over, but just to feel that way again and see the things and people who are gone. That's impossible, but hearing this wonderful music is the next best thing. Thanks in heaven to Judith.😢🙏
Greetings fromacross the pond...such a lovely lady and angelic voice. RIP Judith
Superb singer, I'm devastated she's gone ...... Seekers forever.
Why did I not hear of this until now!? She was one of my favorite female singers in the 60s and I've always had a crush on her -- so sweet, so talented, such a gentle soul. I'm crushed.
That breaks my heart. Some of my earliest memories of my childhood in the sixties where listening to her beautiful voice on the radio. RIP Judith
Very great singing voice, her group "The Seekers" gave the World so very hours of listening enjoyment. R.I.P. Judith Durham.
I rarely weep over the passing of a celebrity..., this is one strong exception!
Rest In Peace _Angel_ as you prepare to join _The Choir of Angels_ !
She was an angel and now she joins them. RIP thank you for the memories.
I met Judith briefly after one of her solo concerts. She was absolutely charming.
Ahhhh Judith, my heart is totally broken. Had the biggest crush on this wondrous Lady all my life, well, from 8 years old. Simply the most unique amazing voice ever, and such control. Unquestionably spectacularly beautiful, physically, and emotionally. Such a kind, giving humble dignified elegant Lady, in every sense of the word. Through all her trials she had that dazzling smile, never letting her own pain show. It's very simple Judith, you inspire me to be a better person, i WILL love you till i die. How can it be that someone i never met can melt the strong barriers of a very wounded heart, Thank You dear Lady for sharing all your wonderful gifts with us mere mortals. Be with Ron.
A lovely, moving tribute. Much appreciated. Many thanks.
I have been listening to The Seekers for many, many years. I sang a few of their songs in a school pantomime. The first song i remember ever hearing was,as i called it "Rockin, rollin, riding". I sang it just as i sat at my first grandchilds christening, forgetting that a family friend attending is Australian. He looked at me as if to say" how on earth do you know that song?". Beautiful lady Judith. Condolences to her family and band members. From Ireland.
It's called Morningtown Ride.
A fitting tribute to Judith. Rest in peace.
Thank you so much for the wonderful music you brought into my life ... may you rest in eternal peace ... love from Switzerland ... - Lucretia ❤❤❤
