Very clean and tidy work. Attention to detail on every plate hole placement and crimp. great idea on the 90 elbows - saves a lot of money on fittings and it looks a lot better too - less failure points - very well done sir
Nice job! I had pex installed in our 1912 home years ago (around 2006) after our plumber recommended it. I’d never even heard of it. Still works perfectly and have never had a problem. I just wish he’d have put in a manifold for dedicated runs. Question…what’s a Mouse House?
thanks! my first house I lived in I ended up putting in pex with a branch system like you have, worked pretty good, but I later realized how many fittings I used which probably costed more than the pex tubing itself lol. I call it the mouse house because it was infested with mice (mostly dead) when I bought it
if you are referring to the distance to the electrical panel. The only thing that comes to mind is article 110.26(A)(3) and it deals with working clearance, which I believe a have.
Typically city water connected buildings need an expansion tank. The water meter service has a check valve. When you heat your hot water it's going to expand and cause a pressure increase. When connected to a well the well tank can usually take care of any change in pressure.
hmm, I've never seen an expansion tank on any city water connected home, and I have worked on a lot of them. Am I missing something? Are the codes in Minnesota different from your area?@@ericwotton2046

thank you, sometimes my OCD comes in handy lol
Just a question. Should you use fire stop foam instead of regular insulating foam? Nice clean work.
probably not a bad idea, i just used what I had on hand though

Havent you got a set distance from power to water?

and the receptical by the utility sink is gfci protected and I believe that is required within 6feet of the edge of the sink.
Where’s your expansion tank? 🤔
didn’t know I needed one.
this house is connected to city water also
