If legends Hoenn were to happen, it'd be to stop the current combat between Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon after Jirachi the first meteor falls. Jirachi would be seen as the enemy entering their domain. In this period You'd be adopted into the Draconids upon first settling to this land who have only interacted with Rayquaza (Primal Form) and have never knew there was a Groudon or Kyogre. In this Legends game, it would be Rayquaza in deep slumber and there would be another 2 tribes. The Tribe of Aqua and the tribe of Magma at war with each other and knew of their primal gods existence. During this period, there would be intense climate shifts causing different adaptations to various pokemon to appear. Making them the Hoenn version of displaced pokemon. You'd have things like Water Trapinch or Sea Numel etc. Instead of the Space time Distortions. You'd probably have something called Climate Displacement Zones. This is how I'd imagine Legends Hoenn would go.
torkoal's evolution Tordesite from TORtoise and anDESITE a type of volcanic rock. It's Ability Igneous body think well baked body but raises the special defence instead. Igneous rock is the lava that turns into new land.
Contaminated pokemon! The gimmick that can only be used one day after obtaining. Bacteria form extra tentacle-like limbs to grab, immobilise the opponent and drain their HP
I love that you went for a region that ISN'T a likely candidate for that kind of treatment any time soon! Feel like it allows for much more creativity than when trying to predict the most likely official one

Laverhead makes sense for the Torkoal evolution, based on Loggerhead Sea Turtles and lava. Also I think the dragon starters might look better if rather than them all having the same basic dragon body, Swampert gets a more sea serpentine body that is bulkier, and Sceptile gets a western dragon one.
Give Blaziken a form closer the the Eon Pokemon too, all 3 looking more like variant species of the Megas. They already feel different enough "lore wise" and in appearance to be separate mons
The draconids are the most interesting part of Pokemon lore. My biggest wish for a legends game would be for them to appear in person, whether that be in Johto or Hoenn, having the Unknown tie in would be the bow on top for me. Absolutely love the Cramorant fakemon by the way haha.
This is a cool concept, and the dragon starters are pretty sick, but personally I would've preferred for Legends Hoenn to do what Legends Arceus did and have new regional forms for starters of other regions and just put the Hoenn starters in the wild. That way we could've still had Mega Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert.
I think if the Pokémon company did this, they’d make the meteorite-infused forms something the Pokémon had to master, not get rid of. It could act like Mega-Rayquaza as an in-battle power up, but only after you train the Pokémon to take control over it
That idea feels like it's taking the piss out of normal Mega Evolution and making every pokemon sort of Mega Evolve as easily as Rayquaza. It's not Mega evolution per se but the affect as a powerup would be the same.
Took me 25 minutes to watch these videos. They were both awesome. Love the theme for the starters being the traversal. Torkoal getting that much needed evo, meteorite form bosses and open world biomes, heck yeah.
Personally, I don’t really like the designs much. They all just look the same but with a different coat of paint and typing, it just seems pretty unoriginal if you ask me. Though the concept is interesting.

I, for one, would love to see a Legends Hoenn game someday! It's neat to learn how the modern regions came to be! That game may answer some questions while making us ask even more questions at the same time. The world of pokemon is a very mysterious place. Anything is possible in the world of pokemon!
That Flygon looks insane, I love how not only is there a Deoxys core in it, the core gave it traits of Groudon. I could see each mon gaining traits from one of the 3, these being "megas" that lead to a Mega Deoxys. Of all the new mons only thing catching me is the starters all being serpentine, mainly as the use of ride Pokemon in PLA was showcasing Hisuian Pokemon. I'm down for giving the Hoenn starters Draconic variants though, I feel like if any "one" Pokemon were to be the sole vehicle it would be either a variant or an entirely new Eon Pokemon. Maybe in the past more could be found appearing in this world than the Jet Dragons (and potentially Togekiss).
What about there only being one Eon Pokemon, being Purple (Leading into the Mega designs), that eventually, due to the events, split up into 2 Pokemon due to its DNA getting altered due to the meteors, but its a process that takes time, but the Purple still being in there, dormant, can only be activated by using a Mega Stone.
This makes me really hope we get more legends games soon and legends doesn’t have to always take place in the past it could also take place in the future
I want a Legends Orre game with a Wild West and (positive) native american theme. Imagine Lugia and Ho-oh being portrayed as harvest deities that bring the sun and the rain. Imagine shadow pokemon not being artifically evil pokemon but instead having roots in a native american curse that clouds the spirits with anger. Imagine Mt. Battle as a holy mountain with Ho-oh at the summit with Citadark Isle being sacred ground for Lugia. Imagine a regional Roggenrola-line that is based on gold-nuggets.
Idea for the torkoal evolution: Maybe, adding immunity to water type attacks, it raises it's defense, because if you hit lava with water, you get more rock. As for a name, maybe something to do with underwater volcanoes. Maybe like Hydrokoal like the term hydrovolcanism?

The name for the Torkoal eco could be named as "Shelivius" as its a play on "Shell" as it is a turtle's shell and "Vesuvius" since it could be perceived as a play as that volcano wiped out Pompeii in ancient times and considering this is a Hoenn of an era bygone, it works. The Whiscash evo could be named "Quakcash" as it's a play on the fact it's an evolution of Whiscash but it has the ability to shake the ground, hence its name.

The name I thought of for Whiscash is Namazuliqua and for Torkoal it is Futabasear. Namazu is an underground catfish that causes earthquakes and liquefaction is an earthquake that turn soil inti mud which is a cool combo and i threw in aqua. Futabasaurus was the first plesiosaur type sea creature found in japans waters plus sear.

Since its more sea dwelling we combine turtle (instead of more land dwelling tortoise) with volcano, and keeping the 'k' instead 'c' in volcano just to keep a spelling convention. Still basic but maybe Turkanic is a bit more epic. Idk if this evo is going to be large but this adds titanic in the naming convention, and volcanic imho is just a cooler word than volcano lol.
One idea that might take some doing, but I’m sure the Pokemon community can do it, is a Legends Alola. And this video proves that anything can be a great idea for a Legends game

You know technically if we were to have a prequel to certain Pokemon games it would be more warlike and horror rather than kid-friendly. could be interesting on how they would make such a game and understand what exactly happened during the war. I think one of the more interesting war-like legends games would possibly be Pokemon X and Y due to the events of what exactly the legendaries did during the said time period. In case anyone is wondering about what the x&y legendaries represent yvetal is death, xerneas is life, and zygarde is the balance.
Hoenn has some amazing potential for a legends game, I feel the potential for the meteorite mega boosts could involve the Regis and giving them something akin to the Primal forms and mega Rayray. This could also be a way to explain why they seem to have gone awry a bit from their original purposes and have to be sealed in the tombs. The storyline could be about catching them and taking them to the ancient tombs where the seals at the tomb drains the mega energy away from them and placing them into a slumber helping to explain how they ended up where they were in the modern age. Ingame you can of course return and collect the regis for yourself but lore wise they are always returned and sealed away in the end. I like the Torkoal Evo, but i cant help but think it looks a bit like a Lapras and Camerupt fell in love and Honeymooned in the daycare centre.
Love the Quetzalcoatlus vibefor my favorite water type Cramorant. Also by far my favorite Terrasaur for obvious reasons. Largest flying creature to ever exist on this planet like come on
It would be cool if Brandon's Ancestor could be found on an island building a great tower to meet the Sky Guardian, which would tie into the plot or postgame, allowing you to catch Jirachi. Torkano and Earthscash (my names for Torkoal and Whiscash evos) could have Mega/Primal Forms and Boss Battles as well. I'd imagine Deoxys could have a Convergent Form coming from an Ultra Wormhole opened by the meteors in the atmosphere. I'd call them Radeox (as radio would have been a new invention at the time) and make it shift forms via Music from specific radio waves.
Pacifidlog Town going from being the least significant town (I believe the only entirely optional one?) in RSE/ORAS to being the starting point in a Legends Hoenn game would be so epic
since you went with a sea turtle not sure how well it works but have long thought that Galavagos would be a cool name for a torkoal evolution, Galapagos and Lava.
when you said the starters were the same as modern hoenn i was like "lame!" than the dragon forms graced my screen and as someone that is not a fan of the gen 3 starters i have to say thoses are some of the best Fakemon forms i have ever seen.
I suggest the Torcoal evolution be either called: Taracoal - a combination of "Torcoal" and "Mount Tara", a volcano in Kyushu Turtacoal - a combination of "turtle" and "coal" (much like how Torcoal's name comes from "tortoise" and "coal"), or Torcano - a combination of "Turtle", "Torcoal" and "Volcano"

Torkoal evolution: Torrvent? Torrent (Water where it lives), Torr (due to living at high water pressures which could actually make metamorphic rock), vent (due to being an ocean vent and also venting is something you do in anger which makes fire in some cartoons)
I know the first Legends was set in the past, and that other Legends games set in the past would also be welcome, but my thought it, we had a Legends game in the past, then Gen 9 where we had both ancient and futuristic alt Pokemon. So, despite Legends implying something based around the past, a Legends game set in the future to follow up the Past/Future theme and sandwich Gen 9 would be awesome. I wonder what that would look like, especially if it took place in Unova like I keep hearing there are hints of.
Interestingly enough. The Archie design that inspired the LA ancestors was the one from the OG RSE that we know is different from the universe where AZ, The Draconids, and ORAS take place
It would be interesting to see that the noble Pokemon in a legends Hoenn game would be mega Pokemon that were affected by the radiation of the meteorites. These Pokemon became enraged due to the sudden mega rotorua evolution. It would be a cool way to get new Mega Pokemon.
My name suggestion for the ancient Torkoal evolution is *_Tortorrent_* - keeping the name simple and snappy - *_Tortorrent_* as in *_tortoise + torrent_* , as the word torrent describes a violent flow or a rapid stream of something flowing down, so like a torrent of water or a stream of lava flowing down the precipice of a volcano, like the one on this pokemons back
Instead of the native hoen starter’s you could have done charmander since it has a dragon mega already to reference for a regional evolution. To be based on a western dragon that specializes in flight. Then for an eastern dragon you could do snivy that better suited to land. And for water I would go with sobble, and make it a sea dragon. Though totodile or frokie would work too. I just think sobble needs a better evo.
Love this Legends concept and the Fakemon. Although, I'm not a fan of the starter dragons... It just doesn't feel right to me. But on a positive note, I absolutely love the Hoennian Cramorant and Trevenant!!!
I think it's noteworthy that I don't mind the biomes being separate "areas" with fixed transition points rather than a single big open world. They're more like the evolution of routes or collections of routes. I mean, I'm all for being able to seamlessly go from one biome to another after you've unlocked them but I don't require like the sky or sea to be accessible immediately from the start of the game. And after the perf issues of Scarlet & Violet I'm even more supportive of Game Freak breaking the world up in whatever way they need to in order to keep the game performant.
The Torkoal Evolution could be called Snorkoal (as in Snorkel), and Whiscash Evolution could be called Neiscash (as in Gneiss Rocks). I think those are pretty good names
Torchoalon for the torkoal evo, from torch, coal and archelon a prehistoric turtle. and for the whiscash evo Boltrastache from Bolter from the sliderock bolter a cryptid in the US, Batrachus a species of walking catfish and Moustache
ideas for the new evolutions: Krakaturtle and Wizcash. Krakatoa and turtle, a pretty obvious pun. but then Wiz for wizard, since he can move thru the mud like magic.
They'd have to do something with regigigas as the main boss. like have the different regis as mini bosses. I don't think there's any chance of them using megas again until they remake xy, and that's gonna be like 20 years from now.
The Torkoal evo should have should maybe have storm drain to play into the bulky defensive idea or, if you want a new ability, I suggest one that just evaporates water moves on that side if the field like a weaker desolate land(if you did choose this one macargo *NEEDS* it)

I've always found Whiscash to be an extremely underated Pokémon so it's great to see it getting some love here.
Torkano for that Torkoal evolution. Torkoal + Volcano. I feel it is simple but works well.

Those torkoal and wishcash based evolutions are sick!!
I came up with a legends hoenn game awhile back, called legends rayquaza, came up with a story and everything
Torkool for the Torkoal ecolution. It's very similar and also hints to water being cool (generally), even though the volcanobased pokemon itself wouldn't be
You know technically if we were to have a prequel to certain Pokemon games it would be more warlike and horror rather than kid-friendly. could be interesting on how they would make such a game and understand what exactly happened during the war. I think one of the more interesting war-like legends games would possibly be Pokemon X and Y due to the events of what exactly the legendaries did during the said time period. In case anyone is wondering about what the x&y legendaries represent yvetal is death, xerneas is life, and zygarde is the balance.
Hoenn has some amazing potential for a legends game, I feel the potential for the meteorite mega boosts could involve the Regis and giving them something akin to the Primal forms and mega Rayray. This could also be a way to explain why they seem to have gone awry a bit from their original purposes and have to be sealed in the tombs. The storyline could be about catching them and taking them to the ancient tombs where the seals at the tomb drains the mega energy away from them and placing them into a slumber helping to explain how they ended up where they were in the modern age. Ingame you can of course return and collect the regis for yourself but lore wise they are always returned and sealed away in the end.
I like the Torkoal Evo, but i cant help but think it looks a bit like a Lapras and Camerupt fell in love and Honeymooned in the daycare centre.

Love the Quetzalcoatlus vibefor my favorite water type Cramorant. Also by far my favorite Terrasaur for obvious reasons. Largest flying creature to ever exist on this planet like come on
It would be cool if Brandon's Ancestor could be found on an island building a great tower to meet the Sky Guardian, which would tie into the plot or postgame, allowing you to catch Jirachi.
Torkano and Earthscash (my names for Torkoal and Whiscash evos) could have Mega/Primal Forms and Boss Battles as well.
I'd imagine Deoxys could have a Convergent Form coming from an Ultra Wormhole opened by the meteors in the atmosphere. I'd call them Radeox (as radio would have been a new invention at the time) and make it shift forms via Music from specific radio waves.
Really great ideas overall guys, would be really interesting to see.

Pacifidlog Town going from being the least significant town (I believe the only entirely optional one?) in RSE/ORAS to being the starting point in a Legends Hoenn game would be so epic
I did actually expect that you will make the water pokemon a land one and the land one a water one
since you went with a sea turtle not sure how well it works but have long thought that Galavagos would be a cool name for a torkoal evolution, Galapagos and Lava.
when you said the starters were the same as modern hoenn i was like "lame!" than the dragon forms graced my screen and as someone that is not a fan of the gen 3 starters i have to say thoses are some of the best Fakemon forms i have ever seen.
for torkoals evos name i think golavagoes could work pretty well (like golapagoes and lava)
I suggest the Torcoal evolution be either called:
Taracoal - a combination of "Torcoal" and "Mount Tara", a volcano in Kyushu
Turtacoal - a combination of "turtle" and "coal" (much like how Torcoal's name comes from "tortoise" and "coal"), or
Torcano - a combination of "Turtle", "Torcoal" and "Volcano"
As a huge hoenn fan, gimme the hoenn.

Torkoal evolution: Torrvent? Torrent (Water where it lives), Torr (due to living at high water pressures which could actually make metamorphic rock), vent (due to being an ocean vent and also venting is something you do in anger which makes fire in some cartoons)
I know the first Legends was set in the past, and that other Legends games set in the past would also be welcome, but my thought it, we had a Legends game in the past, then Gen 9 where we had both ancient and futuristic alt Pokemon. So, despite Legends implying something based around the past, a Legends game set in the future to follow up the Past/Future theme and sandwich Gen 9 would be awesome. I wonder what that would look like, especially if it took place in Unova like I keep hearing there are hints of.
Interestingly enough. The Archie design that inspired the LA ancestors was the one from the OG RSE that we know is different from the universe where AZ, The Draconids, and ORAS take place
It would be interesting to see that the noble Pokemon in a legends Hoenn game would be mega Pokemon that were affected by the radiation of the meteorites. These Pokemon became enraged due to the sudden mega rotorua evolution. It would be a cool way to get new Mega Pokemon.
I feel like they would be way to OP though.
My name suggestion for the ancient Torkoal evolution is *_Tortorrent_* - keeping the name simple and snappy - *_Tortorrent_* as in *_tortoise + torrent_* , as the word torrent describes a violent flow or a rapid stream of something flowing down, so like a torrent of water or a stream of lava flowing down the precipice of a volcano, like the one on this pokemons back
Instead of the native hoen starter’s you could have done charmander since it has a dragon mega already to reference for a regional evolution. To be based on a western dragon that specializes in flight.
Then for an eastern dragon you could do snivy that better suited to land. And for water I would go with sobble, and make it a sea dragon. Though totodile or frokie would work too. I just think sobble needs a better evo.

I've been making my own legends hoenn game and i also made it aroud sootopolis' creation and used the same place for begining town coincidentally
For Torkoal's new evolution, I'd suggest the name "Krakatortle" (Krakatoa + turtle) or "Torkoaldera" (Torkoal + caldera)
Love this Legends concept and the Fakemon. Although, I'm not a fan of the starter dragons... It just doesn't feel right to me. But on a positive note, I absolutely love the Hoennian Cramorant and Trevenant!!!
I think thermakoal could work for the torkoal evolution, based on torkoal and thermal from hydrothermal vent, aka underwater volcanos
I think it's noteworthy that I don't mind the biomes being separate "areas" with fixed transition points rather than a single big open world. They're more like the evolution of routes or collections of routes. I mean, I'm all for being able to seamlessly go from one biome to another after you've unlocked them but I don't require like the sky or sea to be accessible immediately from the start of the game. And after the perf issues of Scarlet & Violet I'm even more supportive of Game Freak breaking the world up in whatever way they need to in order to keep the game performant.

Eruptoise & Volcator are two names I got for the Torkoal evolution
The Torkoal Evolution could be called Snorkoal (as in Snorkel), and Whiscash Evolution could be called Neiscash (as in Gneiss Rocks).
I think those are pretty good names
Torchoalon for the torkoal evo, from torch, coal and archelon a prehistoric turtle. and for the whiscash evo Boltrastache from Bolter from the sliderock bolter a cryptid in the US, Batrachus a species of walking catfish and Moustache

The torkoal evolution is based off a hydrothermal vent and it looks like a lapras so I think it should be called Ventaras
ideas for the new evolutions: Krakaturtle and Wizcash. Krakatoa and turtle, a pretty obvious pun. but then Wiz for wizard, since he can move thru the mud like magic.
Torkoal could become Hydrokoal named after hydrothermal vents that are near underwater volcanoes
no lie that torkoal evo has alot of potential as far as use-ability for lore goes. Imagine it being rivals with Lapras 🤔
They'd have to do something with regigigas as the main boss. like have the different regis as mini bosses. I don't think there's any chance of them using megas again until they remake xy, and that's gonna be like 20 years from now.
But can you imagine a legends:kalos game where you would stop the ultimate weapon from firing/wiping out all life?

The Torkoal evo should have should maybe have storm drain to play into the bulky defensive idea or, if you want a new ability, I suggest one that just evaporates water moves on that side if the field like a weaker desolate land(if you did choose this one macargo *NEEDS* it)
