Adding a cupcake machine in a maker space is also a really good way to actually use that huge thing, since it's so big and specific that it's basically impossible to fit anywhere. Even things like the observatory, microscope and a rocket could be placed there simply because there's nowhere else they would fit.
So glad you made this! I agree eco community spaces are very overlooked. I love them. I'll usually build or download a community space that has the required items for all 4 types. That way it doesn't matter which lot type gets enacted. I actually find that unless my active household votes for a specific lot, it will usually just remain a community space. My community space functions as a sort of a rec center so I might include a playground, ball court, the pub games from Get Together, etc. I also make a banquet room to hold bday parties or group outings and add a little kitchenette so Sims can cook or bake a cake (cause I always forget to do it in advance 🤦🏾♀️). I would love to see what ideas you come up with for using community spaces in different ways. Your suggestion videos always inspire me 💙

And anything that needs a worker, will work on these lots. Whether you place a bar or massagetable or djbooth. There will be a mixologist, spaworker or dj coming to manage it. I also put a cowbarn and chickencoop on the community garden. Now we can gather free eggs and milk for cooking, without having to care for the animals.

I wish that the voting was for a whole world instead of just a neighborhood. Because I want to add community lots to other worlds, but not all of the neighborhoods. I guess it's good that you can change it in build mode, but I would like to use the actual gameplay too
You don't have to compete for votes. If you go into Pack Settings, you can disable NPC voting. That way, only your played Sims' votes count, putting you in complete control of the outcomes for Community Spaces and NAPs.
I made a homeless shelter for my sims to live in whenever I play the rags to riches/homeless challenge and I never thought about making a community lot a homeless shleter lot omg
I have tried repeatedly to set it up in Build mode and saving, hoping it changes in the Live World but no, it only reverts back into the dump it starts out as.
Pretty buggy and has some annoying features that I mostly turn off. I still really enjoy it for the community spaces, objects and CAS though. Totally worth it
Yes, but it's not very common, I usually see them selling either plants, candles or dyes for fabrication. I usually only have one table though, so maybe if there are several you get a more diverse set of products? Or maybe the type of community lot and the facilities it provides determine what will be sold at the tables?
So if you pick community space can your sims live there or that's not it? I'm honestly trying to see if I can make it where Sims can live in the same building kinda like an apartment
Hello, this might be a dumb question, but can anyone tell me where to find the Eco lifestyle community board so I can put it in a different town? I turned on all the cheats to get the hidden stuff and I can't find it anywhere.
So I have a question. I tried to change the community lot and it didn't save. Do you have to save and exit and come back into the game for it to take? or can you just save it.
Demetria :) Most of the times when I changed it, I entered the community lot from the game as if I was building a random unoccupied house, and I changed it to the type of community lot I wanted and then saved and exited. Apologies, I'm not sure if other processes work.
Community Space is broken because that's all EA does is push out broken Sims games. You can live in the same world as the Community Space and have the right day and time but the board still will not allow you to vote. Completely unprofessional to have THAT many bugs in any game. Patches have destroyed everything!

But I don't see anyone working in this place what should I do. In my wedding venue, there is a chef station and a bar but all of them is empty
@@shhh3683You could change the lottype to a community space instead. Your sims can get married there, but the bar will be staffed.
