He's never used CC for a container home, he's just used the stuff from other packs that looks close but not perfect.

Fine, maybe not CC but now he doesn't have to settle for things from other packs that aren't quite right or spend forever searching through debug items. Most of us know what you meant Sarah and it's awesome to see him playing with a pack that seems to have been tailored just for him. I'm really excited for this LP.

The ceiling shipping container color doesn't match the walls I don't think
@@RobinFlysHigh you mean the roof tiles. They match but the lighting give them a slightly different shade which imo makes it realistic

Honestly at this point I would accept a pack of just kitchen counters
With shelves and cabinets to match wood swatches. That would be awesome.

You can fake it with move objects. I’ve done it with the current bay windows and wider sills in the game.

I really cannot wait for this pack to come out. This is exactly something i'd enjoy I love it to bits. Plus I am aching to start building an old like train station somewhere else in the sims world now that we have tracks and trains etc.
Same !! I’ve been building exclusively shipping container builds in the sims using cc for years, as I actually live in a shipping container house and think they’re brilliant. Now that I can share my creations without cc makes me unbelievably excited !! I don’t understand why people are hating on this pack so much, it’s wonderful 💚

i think it’s great to revisit past build ideas when you have new content to execute it differently. so, love this build and looking forward to the potential train build too.

The most creative one using this idea so far, without counting the red one that came with the pack on the more industrial and polluted neighborhood. I really liked that one. But James's is so creative and you can see that he really enjoys what he is building, I just loved it. Makes me really excited for the new pack!!

And I am so glad you did the right proportion for shipping containers as containers have to conform to ISO standard. It won’t make sense to have strangely proportioned ones.

I love this build so much. I would love to live in an apartment like this (not the shipping container part lol, but the interior looks so good.) Can you believe James experimented with colors other than black and white? We love character development.

Your container house is my favorite so far, really cool! And I'm happy that you worry about the machines being exposed to sun and rain even if it doesn't matter in the sims.

I decided im gonna do a rags to riches with a sim that tolerates the filth maybe even makes the world worse and then Im gonna play further on as her daughter who wants to fix the world and make it better.

I absolutely love everything in this pack so far. This build is gorgeous and I can definitely see myself downloading it from the gallery once the EP is available. I just love all the new plant decor and playable items they're adding with this pack. I'm a houseplant junkie.
When I'm having doubts about a pack, I can always rely on James to peak my interest in it. Gameplay wise, I don't know if I would utilize the EP, but build wise I am loving it.
I'm going to love the windows update. I'm always struggling with window placement.

they did! they place on half tiles now and you can alt-place them freely as long as they don't share a tile with another window/door

@@hannah2729 Yes! Plus they finally have fixed this stupid bug that makes landscaping hard were plants would jump up foundations and placing terrain paint underneath trees was an issue. I watched Kayla's (lilsimsie) video about the basegame updates last night and she was close to tears about all this.

Wish you could put items on the inside window ledges (like the window used in the kitchen). Those seem like they would be good shelves.

Where I live, there is basically an outdoor mall where all the shops are in shipping containers and there's restaurants in some of them too, with an outdoor eating area. You should build something like that!

This looks awesome!! Yes please share it to the gallery when it's ready. Also, I want to see the sims use the ladder - we've only seen them slide down but not go up.
lilsimsie showed them on the ladders, they climb very slowly so I think for gameplay stairs going up is more practical tbh but it's nice to have the option of ladders too.
