Another side hustle that was not mentioned, there are vendor stalls that you can purchase in both the Jungle Adventure and City Living Packs. You can open up yard sales with them on any lot, and sell whatever you want. On my PS4 copy of the game, not only do I have these two packs, but also the Realm of Magic Pack. So I’ve been using the vendor stalls to sell my potions along with woodcrafts that I made with the Woodworking Table (which is a base game item) and produce from my garden. True, it is slower than just selling them in bulk, but it I think it’s kind of fun seeing my Sim working on her stall, selling handmade goods or homegrown crops from her fruits and vegetable garden!
Yep, that's another thing to do. Most Sims visit community lots during the day & it kind of slacks off a bit in the evening but they don't completely abandon community lots until 2 or 3 am so you can keep your stand up as long as you want...minus your Sim taking care of personal needs, of course. NPC-type Sims can tire out & leave but the game will provide more to keep the lot as occupied as necessary, according to the time of day. Strangely enough, I saw Don Lothario tending one of the food stands at a Spice Festival once...
I would note that with level 9 of the archeology skill, your sim will be randomly sent artifacts in the mail and if you authenticate them and mail them back, you get 3-4k every time.
@@queencleopatra007 you have two frogs in your inventory and then click on one and choose to breed There are a few different types of frogs, so you can even get rare species
Collecting autographs is my favorite side hustle. It takes the least amount of work, and sometimes you can make $3,000 a day. Yoga/meditation is my second.
Just starting a spellcaster legacy run, trying to do a long line of rich haughty spellcasters, and I was really hating the fact they need jobs at first. Much love Pete!
Spellcasters, like what Pete’s previous video has said, can commit insurance fraud (inferniate, wait til the item burned to a crisp, get your insurance money, repairo, rinse and repeat). At higher levels you can copypasto like what Ashes said. If you have City Living or Jungle Adventure you can also make potions and charge exorbitant prices while doing a yard sale.
Actually the potions thing doesn't really work, as in the potions all sell for dirt cheap so even with the markup you'll only get like a hundred simoleons for the rarer potions. Also be warned that the market stalls are kinda buggy and don't always work.
Gardening is one of the most broken side hustles. I supported my teen sim to adulthood with this. Also getting the money tree pays off £8000 per harvest
You and I literally had an entire back-and-forth conversation about poop today. I was responding out loud to your video and my kids came in asking who was here. Another Side hustle I love to do for my outgoing party animal/ aspiration sims is to be a party hose. I have them host parties where the award object sells for more than the cost of the party so they are basically paid professional party hosts.
As far as the flower arranging skill goes, you can also scent arrangements with Bluebells so they last forever and even sell them in a store or on a sales table for a markup. If you have My Wedding Stories, you can also make bouquets which can be sold as well.
Extremely Useful! I hate regular careers with a passion! Don't want to be reminded of work when I am playing my game. These side hustles can actually be main hustles! Thanks!
Flower arrangement is really OP tbh. When you unlock the pink orchid arrangement, you will spend 9++ simoleons to make it, and sell it for almost 9,000 simoleons, or almost 19,000 simoleons to sell it on plopsy, no matter if the flower gone bad or not. Its crazy
being an archaeologist made my sim the most money, it's a fun job to play too. my sim sells the artifacts using a vendor stall and you can choose to mark up the prices to 300% but these days my sim just get artifacts mailed to her home, she authenticates them and makes 3-4k per artifact authenticated.
Oop biologist here👋🏽 With the bees it’s not termites, it’s mites which even in real life are one of the main reason causing a decline in some species of bees :))
To be specific, it’s usually the varroa mite (or varroa destructor, to some beekeepers) that causes colony health decline. There are worse mites, but varroa is common. Usually, monitoring boards are used to count mite drop, and if things get too bad, a beekeeper can put varroacides into the hive. The more you know!
I had NO idea that autographs could be appraised and could be worth so much! I can't believe I'm still learning new things even after all these years of playing. This is why I love your channel. My sim is about to become a groupie, lol.
Yeah, bonsai plants are available but if you also have Cottage Living you can grow them on several plots & can always have a supply for trimming & selling them. You can also use wall-size glass windows & glass panels for roof to make a greenhouse (the kit is not required; I don't have that), which allows you to grow pretty much any plant in "protected" conditions all year long. Another thing that helps is if you get Patchy the Strawman scarecrow & build up a friendship with him (try it), you can not only get some random seeds from his pockets occasionally & gardening advice but he can detach himself from his tree-mount & wander around doing your gardening chores for you. Heck, you can even adopt him into the family so you can check out his abilities in CAS (you have to give him a last name there) or even change them with the normal use of Skill & Trait cheats. You can also select them like any other playable Sim & have them improve/learn skills, even give them a job to go to...Just like any other playable Sim. As long as he's hanging around, he'll be putting gardening tasks as his top priority, hanging around & doing normal autonomous Sim activities in between garden tasks. I did this with Patchy in one family & had him earn some more skills. Eventually, I figured that he'd learned well enough to move out to his own place & set him up with a farm of his own. I also took him to the Magic Realm & he's a spellcaster. I'm fond of the fact that his Familiar is the Raven...Yeah, picture that if you saw him wandering on community lots. He's doing okay.
I warmly recommend trying these! My sims very rarely work normal jobs, and then usually for a while to fulfill an aspiration. Hobbies and side hustles are so much more fun. It was the same way in Sims 3.
Best side hustle I've found involves a Spellcaster with Copypasto and the Gold Perereca frogs from Jungle Adventure. Each frog is worth about 8000-10,000 each. The Jeweled Gold Perereca sells for 10,015. Copy that thing 60+ times and you've got enough money in a Sim-afternoon to complete both Wealth Aspirations. It's vital you have as many Spellcaster perks as you can get that lower Charge accumulation for Practical or all Magic in general so you can make lots of copies at once, and Discharge so you can do it all over again, without blowing yourself up. If you also have a good stock of Potion of Plentiful Needs, you shouldn't need any food, sleep, etc.
@@skullyq1164 - I've done that too. If you use the Set Gardening Quality debug to make the Money Fruit perfect before planting it, each tree can produce 22,000 a day. I stop at 5 trees to conserve yard space, but it nets me 110,000 a day, which is more than enough.
Another music-related "hustle" your Sims can do. Singing, recording/uploading, & DJ can net some pretty good pay, but your Sim can also carry a guitar or violin with them in the inventory so you can bust out & play for tips anywhere. I haven't tried to put a Busker's Stage in the inventory yet but if you can pull it off, that would be an alternative too. If you go into a club or lounge with microphone, piano, guitar, or violin but they don't have a musician (unless you hire one) then you can earn some simoleons that way too.

Just a warning for #4, if you have Dream Home Decorator, the furniture objects usually aren’t transformable. Could be a bug or that they failed to update it for the SimRay
Nectar will be on this list next time. It takes time to get started. But once you get some finely aged juice you can make really good money. I haven't even produced an excellent bottle or any of the rare recipes yet and I'm already selling bottles for 2,500.
I can't remember if realm of magic was before or after this but a lot of "selling small items" options pair extremely well with the copypasto spell which is interesting...

I was trying to make a mommy blogger and couldn't figure out how to do it! I kept looking for blogging options on her phone or computer. I'd still loce regular blogging that's linked to the writing skill but o well. It's too bad the vlogging/simstagram/social media careers can't be mixed into one complex online influencer career.
I wonder if it's possible to combine autograph hunting from Get Famous with the cloning machine from Get to Work and become an autograph forger. The only way I could see that working is if you could display autographs by propping the frame up on a table the way you can with photographs in TS4, and I've only ever had my Sims display their autograph collections on a wall, so I don't know off the top of my head whether or not you can place the autographed pictures on a surface.
The only thing I don't like about the flower arrangements is they have a short shelf life. Even if you plain on selling them, restocking them dosnt reset the life in the flowers. So filling a store in pretty unrealistic having to keep making new ones.
I think this was just fixed in the recent patch notes! I had this problem too and only escaped it by reusing some old footage that I had gotten for a different video.
4000+ game hours and I'm still learning from Pete.
