    For a car that Dodge has made since 1968, its sad to see them go.

    I just bought one!! Have to wait 4months for it to come in. I also was sad to here this is the last year they're making them. I don't really see people being able to afford the new electric cars. I think they're jumping the gun too early

    Bought a new '23 Last Call edition Charger GT Plus 3 days ago. Looking real good in Sinamon Stick! A bit firm in the suspension but not harsh.Surprisingly an incredibly smooth engine! With 300 hp it is NOT "slow", if you test drive one find out for yourself.

      I live in PA, but bought the car in Maryland. What was your sticker ( msrp) price? That price was including all the extra dealer tacked on bs, and required legal fees. I did have to pay an extra $56 to have PA inspection done and official stickers put on the windshield.@@panglingaow

    So this GT is 300 HP. If you bought a 2023 SXT, it has the same V6 engine, but is rated at 292 HP. What's the difference on the GT version to get the additional 8 HP?? And whatever it is, could it be bought from parts department and added to an SXT to bring that up to 300 HP?

    • @rikwilkinson1451
      @rikwilkinson1451 4 месяца назад +1

      Ya it seems ridiculous. There’s a few inexpensive mods you can do to exceed 300-315 hp. I deleted the rear resonators which gives about 5 hp. I put a cold air intake which gives roughly another 10 to 15hp. My gt does around 320hp and 285 lbs of torque, and the sound is much better

    • @heythere6983
      @heythere6983 25 дней назад

      The only true benefit is the ability to press sport mode and turn it off to save some gas whereas if you upgrade your car you’re stuck with higher gas consumption .
      Idk maybe you can mod the car to have a sport mode . The gear shifts differently in sports mode, I think it takes longer to shift between gears

      The cloth seats I had in a rental Charger I thought were very comfy and durable. I ended up buying a '23 R/T with the Plus Group leather trimmed Alcantara to treat myself, but if money had been tighter I'd have been quite happy with the standard cloth seats.

    The lamest chargers ever made

    • @lemmingfiftyone
      @lemmingfiftyone 4 месяца назад +1

      You must not have been around in 1975-1978. 😉 Base model had a 3.7L slant 6 rated at 100 hp. The "high" output 400 ci V8 had 240 hp.
      The latest Charger GTs are only "lame" in that they're not as fast and loud as the V8 models. But they're still powerful and fast enough to make driving fun with room for friends and family.
