If you drive a Dodge Charger, let me know if you’ve ever seen MPG like this or if there was a flaw with my test!

That's funny I said the same thing. My 2018 Challenger SXT did 36.2 mpg from Victorville CA to Las Vegas. The crazy part is rarely dipped below 80mph. I know they have cylinder deactivation that's all I could think of.

Rented a 2023 Charger SXT for a week trip from Chicagoland to Asheville, NC and back in July. Highway pegged the cruise at 75-80 and a couple days of puttering around town. Averaged 33 mpg for the entire trip. Loved it so much (the style, the room, the ride, ...) I bought a Charger after getting home, though it was an R/T. The V6 of the rental was plenty of power and sounded good though civilly muted. Would have been the more practical choice. I went with the R/T just because last chance in my life to have a big ol' 'murican* V8. 😁

P.S. 1:27 it's not because Dodge or the old basic design that you don't have adaptive cruise control in your Charger. It's because whoever ordered it didn't tick the Technology Group in the options. ACC has been available in all trim levels for years.

Yes you can do that it won’t hurt anything. The car’s computer knows what grade of fuel you put in and adjusts accordingly for the engine if it needs to

The factory recommends 87 octane for the Charger GT

Im livid because my whole commute is almost entirely highway (I live right by the onramp, my job is just off the off ramp) and my 2022 GT is only getting between 16-17mpg. I dont idle much and I even reset the gauge. Its got 7,000 miles on it. What the fuck??

I average about the same as you. I have a 23 GT and i believe the reason we avg 16-17 mpg is bc our driving is 100% city.
